Btw, Abatically and CityNG, I feel this debate should engender fun, enlightenment and tolerance and not an exchange of words. I hope it stops otherwise I go run go call Oga moderator o! |
Pluslargent: lol, laiv wire...like ebola abi? your experience too much...i guess bottom line, no part wit dough if you no see moto...Exactly, this rock bottom rule applies to almost every sphere of trade in Nigeria. |
lomomike: Even when I finally get an S class, I no go stop o, I go move on to bentley, Rolls Royce and then Private Yachts and Private Jets o! I see us moving higher.sure! Amen,..Amen. Frankly, I think some luxury systems are an Overkill. Especially in cars. |
lomomike: This got me drooling. I must make it big in this life.shuuu! Your Rx 330 never do? Though not in the class of an S-class. More power to our elbows. |
lagtech: @Homguy-your stylus arrived and has been shipped to Naija.whoa! Good to hear. Thanks man. When is a likely arrival date? |
nurey: Vehicle of same type and year price will be different, the v6 version will be expensive than the i4 version.this is entirely true for new cars, however, fairly used V6 cars in nigeria often command lower second sales value as most Nigerians avoid V6 engines, thanks to our roadside mechanics and a die-hard motivation to conserve fuel. |
Siena: The 2003 Honda Accord rear screen, like the windshield is bonded. By this, I mean it's not the regular rubber-sealed glass, that is pulled into place with a length of cord.lwkmd! Esp @ no 6-7. |
I bought a tecno p9 tablet recently it is a wonderful phone. by I have been unable to root it with framaroot. even the latest version. this pad has been upgraded from android 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 before shipping could that be a reason its hard to root?

CityNG: But the badge can also be wrong.OK. you've got a point. a salient one. but except you are the actually owner of the car in question, you can't go popping other people's hoods to tell the motor underneath, hence you remain an observer still, regardless of the number of vehicles owned or driven or modified... posted from a owner and driver's vantage point.lol. |
CityNG: And as I keep telling you guys you can't tell based on the badge.given that a car could easily be modified such as to invalidate the badge it carries, a badge is almost always the sole indicator of a car's innards to an observer, which we most often are. I reside in ibadan(golf 3's are used as cabs), boarded a golf 3 last year, and during that trip , noticed the golf out accelerated most private vehicles, the suspension was stiffer than a regular golf, I could feel the torque as it revved. I was pleasantly surprised. asked the driver why his golf was different from a regular golf 3 and he said he didn't know, all he knows is that, in his words "o maa n sare gaan. ti m ba oona die si bai a maa salo ni" I alighted at the end of the journey to find a GTI badge pasted on it. my suprise vanished, twas expected. most times a badge is the only indicator,as in the case you quoted earlier. |
Exponental: Dat type of security is for hungry man thief. For the big boys, u will say "yes sir" when handing over d keys to d "original owner".lmao |
peterjero: I had a small thrill today when I was driving my jalopy(1989 camry) around the eliozu Road in Port Harcourt doing around 100km/h when and 08 Toyota Tacoma Zoomed passed me since my car is old, I floored the throttle and didn't get what I want so I down shifted to gear 4 I hit 130, so when the Tacoma guy noticed I was tailing him he fired more, to cut the long story short, I hit 170 and Zoomed passed him my steering wheel was vibrating already at 140 but was bent on telling the Tacoma guy that my jalopy was well maintained.cool! but you shouldn't expect anymore from a tacoma. A stock 2.7l four cylinder engine wouldnt do more especially on a large truck. besides your Camry' s got a lower weight-power ratio. an ideal opponent would be a Gl golf 3, not a Gti*wink* |
Siena: Dude, simply admit you messed up, buying a car without knowing what engine it has. Buying a car BLIND, so to speak. CityNG: Where I live has no bearing on you not knowing the propulsion system in your car.obviously, both of you are based outside Nigeria. A lot of nigerians buy cars without knowing as little as its engine displacement. As long as they have been told that car does not consume fuel. That probably the case here. In Nigeria there are so many issues in the daily grind that acquiring such specialized knowledge comes tertiary. I personally wouldn't buy a car without knowing every nit bit about that ride. King might not really be that savvy, but it might not be his fault. Circumstances are very varied. However, I wouldn't even drive a car without having a rough idea of the plant moving me. Different strokes for diverse folks. |
CityNG: 1) ... I left the badge alone to further confuse Corvettes on why a lowly pick up truck is continuously in front of them despite their best intentionslmao. i love this! the confusion such acts creates with the drivers you overtake adds to the thrill. |
tolutweety: Mine wasn't really a weird question, it wsn't even a question at all.so did you get the job? tell us so we'd know if comic answers to some questions could land a job |

Picture or this is just a propaganda to make Unilag the No.1 rated Uni in Nigeria. |
Eneze1: Why are we Africans this backward? why should armed men break into an isolation ward? why would you flee an isolation ward when there's probability of you infecting someone else? I just tire for this continentSad! But the blame really is on those nit wits who of all lootable targets decided to loot an ebola containment ward. I sincerely hopes Karma acts very fast here, and adds the virus to their booty. |
Mznaett: na number 4 wey ah neva do b4....thank GodWow! that's 99%. Very good Pass mark |
Ivanspring: Read my post again.Alright. |
ib55: I have been datin a lady for more than a year and we were talkin about marriage. we had a fight about a month ago, which was partly my fault. she said I was knowing her too much and I said its up to her how much she wants me to knw. she got angry that I should not have said its up to her. After some days she said we should brake up. I asked her to forgive me which she did but she said she needed so much space. please what is the meaning of so much space? its a month tomorrow and she still does not talk to me.she was already cheating before the arguement. She's just siezing this opportunity to leave you. Too badt. But , Never say never. |
Weddings can wait, a 50 million naira contract can't, not to mention a 1.6B naira contract. *News flash: Wedding postponed till further notice. STANBY! |

jashar: what is your definition of good? That should be the starting point.Good = Rich in most Naija gal's parlance. |
Naetochukwu: I hate to wear panties, i only wear them when i'm on my period.Quickie with the man in your Dp? Or a random rod? Smd |
Ivanspring: Hmmm...if this list was God's criteria for making heaven, all girls/women would be heaven bound...Am sure you meant h*ll bound. |
sexymoma: And we gonna see a lady who has done all of theseSure! She probably typed this post I Quoted. |
temigracie: ....hahaha....do u expect me to b doin all dat??...ayam a saint.....let me know when you wake up, I have got something to tell you. |
softsparkyy: Only if I am married to him.hmmmm |
If this cock and bull story is real, then you are on a longest thing. Had a girl like thy that during my undergrad days. Later found out she was co-dating a graduate outside. I was just a bf for companionship. I had only one kiss, and that was the night I faked a tear just to get her emotional. Man u aare being played! |
