The number of LGAs is not a really a factor in determining population as Lagos has shown.
Lagos has 20LGAs while Akwa Ibom has 31. But Lagos has almost 8x the population of Akwa Ibom.

In Rivers State, Almost 70% of people live in PH/Obio-Akpor/Ikwerre/Oyigbo/Eleme circle. That is a 5LGA spread out of 23.

What I'm saying in essence is you can have
plenty LGA and still be small in population.

I know about naming of oil wells and how tricky they can be. They had an arrangement to undermine Amaechi so as to reduce funding for Buhari(Amaechi was Buhari's principal cash cow then).

Now, Buhari is Nigerias president and the need for such arrangement was defeated, it expected that Rivers should take back what is hers, but Dickson wants to contest what was just a shabby arrangement. I know Dickson fear is that Bayelsa might be asked to return monies paid to her in error. Well, the case is in supreme Court, the final resolution is upon us.

Coming to see Ijaw people that died in Rivers as if he has condoled with those that died when David Lyon contested with Douye Diri. The IYC should be a responsible organisation and avoid being used as a tool to cause disaffection because any fallout no go sweet anybody.

The oil wells found n those areas are in Kalabari and Kalabari is in Rivers. So whatever politics at play cannot negate that fact. Except we are all agreeing that Kalabari is now in Bayelsa, which will even be a good thing sef. Make we know who and who remain for Rivers.

What Wike is saying is logical, Dickson shouldn't plan to annex oil wells found in Kalabariland while claiming to love Kalabari people. Dickson is even a member of the highest Kalabari social club, yet is in court to challenge oil wells in Kalabariland. just imagine.
