Even in Rivers State, APC is not there, with exception of Edo, there's no APC in SS of Nigeria.

Wike respects Obi as his superior both in age and political prominence. Obi was already a 2nd term governor when Wike was a minister of state. Overall Obi and Wike flows very well.

Actually the Ikwerres do not need to 'act any drama' to continually produce governors in Rivers state. Ikwerre-speaking LGAs have roughly half the voting strength in Rivers state. And truly those figures been enhanced by Igbos.

So every ethnicity in Rivers should appeal to Igbos.

@Pazienza, i'm not mad at all at ndoki claiming ijaw or ijaw claiming ndoki(whichever way). I'm only a scholar observing the recent 'Ijawnisation' of some groups in recent times and sincerely to me this latest addition have started to make the Ijaw concept feel like a bad joke. There are 2 reasons for this.

1) The diversity of the various Ijaw groups/clans (both in language and culture) from east to west are too far removed. from Abia to Ondo is quite a heterogeneous mix.
2) They have now included ethnicities that are way larger than Ijaw into the Ijaw project. It's like turning the table around as it will be abit more suavé for an Ijaw to become Yoruba or Igbo than the other way.

This is just an inference tho.

Simply say an Iranian fact finding mission came to check up on El-Zakzakky.

I've been in an environment with two Ijaws from Odi in bayelsa, one ijaw from Engenni in ahoada-west and another from elem-tombia in Degema respectively in Rivers state. The bayelsa guy spoke with his brother from odi and out of curiosity I asked the guys from engenni and Kalabari if they understood and they said not at all.

Now the Ofoni speak Urhobo but are Ijaws; the people of gelegele(that seaport area in Edo state) speak Edo but are Ijaws; apoi in ondo speak Yoruba but are ijaws;Ndoki speak Igbo but are Ijaws; Obolo speak a different language from Ibani, which is different from Abua, from Nkoroo, from Engenni, from Epie, from Nembe, from Ogbia, from Atissa. Except Kalabari and Okrika which is highly mutually intelligible, the rest is just something else. How does a scholar sincerely group all this diverse ethnicities into one unit.

Because the Ndoki Igbo co-founded Bonny with Ijaw people , and Bonny/Opobo rather than remain bi ethnic, decided to jettison their Igbo side and stick to the Ijaw side, does not make Ndoki people Ijaw. Ndoki can recognize the bond they share with the Igbo branch of Bonny, but it will be ridiculous for them to now decide to become Ijaws as well. This is madness.

When the term Niger Delta is used, it is assumed to be blanket term referring to the different indigenous people and ethnicities drawn from the states in the Niger delta. Not everyone in ND cared whatever about Tompolo to warant such a blanket headline. Simply say Tompolos friends and associates celebrate his birthday and not people of Niger Delta. Decent people do not like to be associated with some certain type of characters who have stolen and killed for their selfish reason while pretending to be Robin Hood.
