Your points above are very valid.... For point 1, same way you care for and maintain your tiles won't be different from how one maintains black tiles.... Avoid things that will scratch your tiles, use mild polishes on your tiles and avoid harsh chemicals.
Most clients go with trends and most designers prefer white cos they can easily play with colours on white and are restricted on black, now making white be the trend but I think that's why interior designers should become creative...

GBAM, u have said it all n given the solutions as well.
just that scratchs are unavoidable most especially when you have underaged kids.
Most clients do appreciate the aura black gives in photos n videos but will never risk trying it out on their personal project except the ones that has traveled vastly n seen the beauty of it in real projects n even at that, they will limit it to their bedroom/bathrooms.

I so much love black tiles as a designer n I don't run from it. Lots of clients will not go with black for their personal reasons n that ranges from client to client.

Though black tiles requires lots of maintainance especially if it's of low quality as it easily reveals scratches n dirt's(dusts n d likes) on it which makes it less attractive over time,
it also requires constant cleaning(mopping/polishing) to bring the spark in it out continuously which will wear of its glory if it's a low quality type n also time to maintain it
Some will say it makes it difficult to sight/spot small reptile on it compare to other colors.

Bright colors suit spaces much more than black color n there is restriction to spaces you can actually use black color for, it's a mood on its own.
Black color is selective of colors that easily combines with it. I love to use black in private spaces.

I think another factor is also that the electricity is non-existent in our side so my neighbor rely fully on the solar system for the day to day running of the house which includes the regular house appliances.

I think one of the advise I got from today's contribution is that instead of budgeting those millions for Solar System, why not kuku build the house in an area where stable electricity is guaranteed? May God help us jare.

I go to my abandoned duplex almost every month and the motivation to complete the fittings is not just there since the electricity in the estate is bad and that's also why I asked Twinskenny to give me some sort of pricee range on what that his last project cost.

baba calm down this all these lies i was just at one shop at VI with my wife to get her a phone and i asked the lady why the ac is off and she said the solar cant power it. There were 6battries on the floor and i was wondering if 6 batteries can power an ordinary ac then what was it built for ? Charging phones only? Spending millions to charge just a phone?

Their system is definitely wrong and what type of a.c are they using. A 5kva solar with just 4 batteries will power even a 1.5hp inverter split unit a.c for not less than 3hrs or more during off period so now think of how many hours it will do when you have your sunlight at its peak. This four batteries powers a fridge n freezer, washing machine n is even used for 0.5hp pumping machine but u need to schedule usage

Problem stems out from many factors
* Grade of batteries
* Wrong information from installer- telling you that a 2.5kva will perform the function of a 5kva n so on
* Grade of panels too as some will have label of 350v on them n they are actually supplying less than 250 so charge time is more
* wrong usage till battery gets depleted, u can imagine using your pumping machine+a.c+freezer n some non energy efficient chandeliers +water heater almost same time, no nah. The system will definitely fail.
I think the installers do advise to get almost double of your load or almost one n half of it for maximum enjoyment.

Good n efficient solar system is not for the weak at all and installers need to do well to advise their clients on load separation as well.
Though some clients will tell THEM NO, and this often leads to overloading n quick drain on the cells.

This is just My thought n experience with solar/inveter system over the years n stand to be corrected.

I’m a girl in her late 20s, I live abroad was born here but spent most of my schooling years in Nigeria. I came back to do university. I’ve been with a guy now for 7 years who hasn’t paid my bride price properly due to the fact he did an arangee marriage and the divorce process is taking too long. I really want to be married and content, It feels like this guy has reduced me to nothing. Im so ashamed of my situation with him, it’s like I’ve disgraced myself and my family. I’m going to try and list out all the issues we’ve been facing.

1. He’s very confused about his career path. One minute he’s a musician.. then he wants to be a painter.. then he wants to be chef. This is a man in his late 30s

2. He has anger issues. We have tussled on some occasions and he threatens to beat me when he’s angry but so far he hasn’t

3. He has addictions. Betting drinking smoking. To the point where he drank so much that he almost killed himself . I was honestly fooled by the fact that he was a worker in the church and I “believed” I could change him. Young and dumb I guess.

4. Cannot communicate properly. To the point we have not had a proper conversation in almost 2 months but we are living together. I feel so lonely and stuck.

5. He insults me so bad to the point where I question myself.

6. He is not very hardworking and I don’t gel well with his family and friends.

7. None of his family ever talk about marriage or paying my bride price. All they ever ask is when I’m having another child for him. They have reduced me to nothing and I can’t blame them.

I will say that when I’m angry I can be verbally abusive also. He also claims that I’m too reserved and isolated. I feel like I’ve been pushed to the wall and I can’t recognise myself.

I really want to run away.. and start afresh. Where will I start from? I have a son how easy will it be to find love again? All the love I have for this man has gone..I don’t know if it can be rectified. He has really seen me finish.
