Some robbers operated in Offa on the 5th of April. In the course of their operation, they collected the phones of their victims before leaving. After the robbery, the robbers gave the phones to their girlfriends telling them the phones were fairly used phones.

Subsequently, Policemen traced the phones and some were found with the girlfriends of the robbers. That particular video was found in the phone of one of the girlfriends of the robbers.

The guy in that video bathing with wine is Kayode Opadokun. He recently served a prison term for armed robbery and is a resident of Offa. In fact, his father had threatened to disown him on account of his criminal antecedents.

Kayode Opadokun was arrested with other persons and he owned up to his participation in the robbery.

At Least 30 Killed In Offa Bank Robbery

Death toll from the bank robbery attack in Offa, Kwara State has climb up to 30.

The attack which took place on Thursday claimed the lives of 9 policemen.

One of the medical doctors at the General Hospital Offa told Channels TV that 21 bodies were brought in to the facility and nine of them were police officers.

But an eyewitness, who declined to be named, said the number of casualties from the robbery attack is nothing less than 30.

“I personally counted up to 30 dead bodies and I am sure the figure might increase because a lot of people were critically injured by gunshots,” the witness said.

Report has it that over 25 robbers armed to the teeth stormed Offa town, ransacking five commercial banks along the Owode Market Area of the town.

The gunmen carted away several millions of Naira from the banks, leaving behind trails of blood.
