@ Horus

This is too weak an argument. It sounds as if you just fabricated this argument.
I do not use argument but Facts.Where is your hell?. It sounds as if you just fabricated your hell. Where is located your hell?,maybe in your gullible mind?
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Hell Real? by Horus(m): 11:17am On Feb 09, 2009
Hell is a fabrication. The concept of hell is something that was created in the hearts and minds of the authors of your Bible and Koran. Before you were informed of what and where hell was, it never crossed your mind to even think about it. So, within the pages of your scriptures hell was born. Just as a God could not exist without the devil, heaven could not exist if there wasn’t a hell.So where did hell come from? It didn’t exist in Adam’s, Noah’s, nor Abraham’s time. It is something that was fabricated so that they could capitalize off of your fear.
Christianity Etc › Re: How Did They Know? by Horus(m): 11:06am On Feb 09, 2009
Why does the Bible speak from the third person singular instead of the first person singular? .This is as if someone is recording events of what God is saying. (For example Genesis 1:3 says) "and God said, let there be light, ," so it can not be God writing the Bible. The question here is "who is doing the recording?"

84 Children Are Killed by Medicine in Nigeria

By LYDIA POLGREEN
Published: February 6, 2009

A toxic chemical mixed into a teething medicine for babies has killed at least 84 children in Nigeria, health officials there said Friday, more than tripling the toll in a wave of infant deaths that began in late November. The children died after taking a medicine called My Pikin Baby Teething Mixture, a syrup for teething pain, according to Nigeria’s Health Ministry. Health officials said that a batch of the medicine that went on sale in November contained diethylene glycol, an industrial solvent and an ingredient in antifreeze and brake fluid. The chemical looks, smells and tastes like glycerin, a sweet syrup commonly used in a wide range of medicines, foods and toothpaste, and counterfeiters enhance their profit by substituting diethylene glycol, which is relatively cheap, for the more expensive but harmless glycerin. The chemical causes kidney and liver damage, as well as attacking the central nervous system, causing paralysis that hampers breathing. Children in Nigeria began to get sick in November with unexplained fevers and vomiting. Some stopped urinating and many had diarrhea. Across the country children with similar symptoms turned up at hospitals amid rising anger and panic. The high concentration of the syrupy liquid in the teething medicine has made it even more deadly — three-quarters of the children made sick by the medicine have died, the Health Ministry said. “The poison has caused many deaths in children between the ages of 2 months and 7 years old in Nigeria,” Babatunde Osotimehin, Nigeria’s minister of health, said in a statement. “The death of any Nigerian child is a great loss to the nation.” Investigators at Nigeria’s National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control have traced the diethylene glycol to an unlicensed chemical dealer in Lagos, who sold the syrup to the maker of the teething medicine, Barewa Pharmaceuticals. The company has been shut down, and investigators have pulled off pharmacy shelves hundreds of bottles of the tainted medicine, but it remains unclear how much of the medicine was manufactured.
Diethylene glycol has figured in mass poisoning cases across the globe. In Panama, 365 people were killed after taking medicine inadvertently tainted with the chemical in a government factory in 2006. The sweet but deadly syrup was labeled glycerin, but it was in fact diethylene glycol from a factory in China. Dozens of children in Haiti died a decade ago after taking contaminated medicine for fevers. In 1990, 109 children died in Nigeria after taking medicine tainted with a similar compound.
Nigeria’s often lax enforcement of counterfeiting laws and its corruption-riddled bureaucracy left the country’s pharmacies full of tainted or fake drugs for decades. But since democratic rule returned in 1999, the government has been cracking down on makers of counterfeit or dangerous medicine.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Jesus by Horus(m): 1:28pm On Dec 27, 2008
Jairzinho:
Kuns & fellow Egyptologists:
While I agree that most Christians need to research and meditate/learn more and take time to study their core beliefs,

I disagree with most of your assertions on the man Jesus(or YEOSHUA). Most of your posts assumes that Jesus's name was not commonly used back then, hence someone in another thread mixing Jesus Christ of Nazareth with 'bar-Jesus' and some others. A brief intro on the name 'Jesus':

The fact is that many people shared the name. Christ's given name, commonly Romanized as Yeshua, was quite common in first-century Galilee. (Jesus comes from the transliteration of Yeshua or Jeshua into Greek and then English.) Archaeologists have unearthed the tombs of 71 Yeshuas from the period of Jesus' death. The name also appears 30 times in the Old Testament in reference to four separate characters—including a descendent of Aaron who helped to distribute offerings of grain (2 Chronicles 31:15) and a man who accompanied former captives of Nebuchadnezzar back to Jerusalem (Ezra 2:2).

The long version of the name, Yehoshua(or YASHUA according to Kuns ,Bastage) appears another few hundred times, referring most notably - JOSHUA (recall the TB Joshua vs Chris Okotie saga)

The reason we call Jesus -Jesus and not Yehoshua or Joshua is because the New Testament was originally written in Greek, not Hebrew or Aramaic.

Greeks did not use the sound sh, so the evangelists substituted an S sound. Then, to make it a masculine name, they added another S sound at the end. The earliest written version of the name Jesus is Romanized today as Iesous. (Remember the crucifix inscription INRI: "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum," or "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews."wink

The 'J' probably came in during later translation to English, because the 1611 King James Bible refers to Jesus as "Iesus" and his father as "Ioseph."
Ask the Christians, if there was no “J” sound in the English language before 1565 A.D., how was Jesus pronounced?

Is Jesus the One God?.Many Christians believe that Yashu’a (aka Jesus) is the one, absolute God. According to the Old Testament, New Testament and the Koran, Yashu’a himself never said that he was the only God, which the Greek version of the Bible called Thehos meaning “God, Diety” and in Aramic (Hebrew) of the Torah we see Yahweh meaning “an Eloheem,” as well as a host of other names.

Christianity Etc › Re: Jesus Will Never Come Again by Horus(m): 9:04pm On Dec 25, 2008
Christians claim that heaven is further than the furthest star, and that is where Jesus went with his father to prepare a place for you, right. Remember, John 14:2 “In my father's house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you.” However, if you look at the possibility of Jesus coming back from a scientific point of view, the furthest star away from Earth is billions of light years away. Therefore, in actuality, Jesus still didn't get to heaven. There's no way he could be on his way back.

The church should first condemn his Christians Priests who sodomize innocent boys. Up to now, there are Christians Priests who are sodomizing innocent boys all over the world. The hypocricy of the Christian church is staggering in its arrogance. So quick to pontificate, yet so ready to hide away the criminal behaviour of some of its own Christians priests. The majority of rogue priests are paedophiles, yet the pope rarely pontificates on paedophilia. The usual churchly reaction is to rush identified paedophiles priests into seclusion (at best) or into another parish where these monsters are unknown, and retain their easy access to children. It's quite sickening that any church should preach against homosexual intercourse between consenting adults, whilst sweeping priestly abuse of innocent children under the carpet.

Christianity Etc › Re: Whats Your View About Pork (meat From Pig) As A Christian by Horus(m):
Christians profess to be such devout followers of Jesus (Yashua) of 2008 years ago, but they eat pork when Jesus (Yashua) NEVER did this. Remember in Mark 5 : 13 Jesus (Yashua) was the one who cast the devil into the swine. They use this saying "It's not what goes into a person, it's what comes out" to say they can eat pork. El's Holy Torah (known as the old testament) in Leviticus 11 : 7, 8 "And the swine, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you.
8: Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you." This was a Law and nothing changes. Don't try and tell us that the book of Acts has made the consumption of pork lawful, because you want to justify the eating of pork. First of all the book of Acts was written by Luke and not a divinely inspired scripture, so it has little or no validity. In addition, Jesus (Yashua) of 2008 years ago said that "Not one jot or tittle" of the law would change. The book of Leviticus received by Moses contains the original laws.

Matthew 5 : 18
" For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all be fullfilled".

Now if Jesus (Yashua) of 2008 years ago said the law could not change, then why are you "Christians" still eating pork?
Eating pork is a concept of the 13th self Acclaimed Apostle Paul, the liar, himself admitted that he was changing the law. Romans 3 : 7 "For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?"

So Christians stop being hypocrites, you know that the law has not changed, besides you know little or nothing about the animal that you love to eat.

HAILE SELASSIE WAS SUPPOSED to be “The Conquering Lion of Judah,” however he wasn’t much help when Ethiopia was invaded by Mussolini in 1935 A.D. and was occupied for five years during which the Italians killed, raped and beheaded thousands of Ethiopians. Mussolini was really an assistant to Adolph Hitler. It was during this time, that Haile Selassie went into exile in Bath, England. He didn’t go to Isreal because of fear. He deserted his countrymen and even those Jamaicans who would have welcomed him, with open arms, not to mention the many other African nations. Why didn’t he go to Jamaica where he was so loved?. Because he did not acknowledge them as his disciples, even though they saw him as a Christ with divine powers. Though he wasn’t and really had none.

Jesus (Cleophas, Jesus-Justus; Colossians 4:11) is the Capricorn of the 12th sign, 12th month of the zodiac; and astrology is Amam's (Leviathan's) religion along with tarot cards, and ouija boards and psychics. This is their way of getting in contact with those familiar (disagreeable) spirits. The zodiac, an ancient Babylonian word for animals, has many forms such as the dog, monkey, eagle, serpent, crocodile, etc. that are not shown in almanacs, dictionaries, and encyclopedias. Although this stems from ancient Tama-Re “Egypt,” as everything does, it was distorted and altered from its original meaning.
For instance, Zodiakos is the Egyptian Netert “female deity” Hat-Har “Hathor” and the Temple of Denderah was attributed to her, and is where the original immaculate conception took place with Aset “Isis” to conceive Haru “Horus.”

The arrogance of these white people in Zimbabwe never ends. First they demand "back" the land they stole from the blacks, then they pretend that Africans shouldn't own land because it might have belonged to someone before the present owners.

Since the slave-master is an enemy of the slave, if the slave prays to the same God as the master, he is praying to the God that enabled the slavemaster to enslave him. Therefore, that God is the enemy of the slave or captive just as the slave-master is.

We never had or kept dogs in our houses. We used dogs for hunting and for alarm systems OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, Since ancient Egypt we have used dogs as such, but we have never followed the filthy habit of the caucasian to use dogs as companions and as room mates. The filthy habit of riding around in cars with dogs as they fart in your face while their heads hang out the car window, Thats not us or our custom,.We picked that filth from the west with the caucasian , We never cohabitated with dogs and those who had dogs had them as outside dogs for hunting and as an early warning system to alert for strangers coming up on the house, We also dont use dogs as travel companions in cars and such unless they are guide dogs for the blind. This means 9 times out of 10 dogs are innappropriate in urban settings where there was not sufficient land for the dog or dogs to roam the land.It has never been our African custom to share a dwelling with a dog, its a caucasian custom,

Nigeria leader wants no immunity

Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua has called for laws that protect top politicians from prosecution while in office to be scrapped.

He said it was time to remove the protection that the president and state governors have to strengthen the fight against corruption.
But critics said the proposal only paid "lip service" to ending corruption. Concerns are growing that efforts to battle corruption in one of Africa's most corrupt countries are foundering. Correspondents say removing immunity would require a change to the constitution, which would be a lengthy process. The last time that was tried, under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, it was thrown out because he sought to extend his term as president.

The president has called for his own
immunity to be scrapped

Mr Yar'Adua was speaking at the launch of a new campaign to encourage Nigerians to report corrupt practices. "This provision for immunity against prosecution for serving officers should be expunged from the constitution," he said. "Nobody in Nigeria deserves the right to be protected by law when looting public funds." He referred to a case in the US where the serving governor of Illinois has been arrested and charged for trying to sell US President-elect Barack Obama's Senate seat.

Alarm

But the governor of Edo State, former union leader Adams Oshiohmole, said the country's anti-corruption agencies were not doing enough to prosecute corrupt politicians who were no longer protected by the law, let alone serving governors. "Just because he says this, doesn't mean anything will change, it's just paying lip service to the fight against corruption," he told the BBC. It is widely felt that there are plenty of corrupt politicians who are not being investigated at all because of their connections to power. Mr Oshiohmole, an opposition politician, recently became governor after a court overturned the election of the ruling party candidate in his state. Recently, human rights organisations and anti-corruption campaigners have sounded the alarm over the state of the country's fight against graft, calling into question the efficacy of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The EFCC has arrested 10 former governors since their terms of office ran out in May last year, but their trials have been stalled. The head of the EFCC, Farida Waziri, blames the court system for being slow. But the BBC has learned that the lead prosecutor who was overseeing the progress of the cases has been sidelined by the anti-graft agency and many of his cases have been given to newly appointed lawyers. This follows the news of the replacement of 12 top investigators at the EFCC, and the removal of the former chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, in May.
