You're a man. Do this by yourself. Participate in the graduation normally or don't even be present. Remain in school area or go back home and don't explain it to anyone. Learn a skill or pick up work and try to make something of your life those two years. Save up and when you resume again, ensure you have the money saved to finish your school journey. Most guys in those two years won't even make much progress. Most no go even see job yet. So, just carry on with your journey and stop making this a big deal. At least no be expel dem expel you. It's painful because of the way you're seeing it. Picture it differently and you'll understand that this might be a blessing. Kunlebayo12: |
There's danger outside. If you lock your partner outside, you are essentially trying to kill them. That's not love. |
Dtruthspeaker:like I said they did not fight. They appealed to conscience because they will never stand a chance by fighting. |

She was happy and I was happy too since it's been a while we spent time together ![]() Mostly due to school. We both are in different schools. So when she came I was holding some good money. I made sure she lacked nothing especially in the food aspect. We were both OK. I set some money aside for January so I know that regardless of my spending, January will be secured ![]() We do normal Christmas preparations na. Bought foodstuff for the big day. Bought a couple of clothes. Twas all good and she was really happy about it all. And I was feeling myself as a big brother seeing how she was happy and having a good time ![]() The respect rose to max ![]() Na sir sir and big bro just dey end and start every statement ![]() On the night to Christmas na there wahala start o. I was on my laptop trying to do some reading since I was also preparing for exam once school resume. She was lying on the bed pressing her phone. Suddenly she started complaining of aching stomach. At first I ignored her and told her to lie flat on her tummy (my mother always recommend this and I found it helps). But she kept rolling and rolling complaining of the pain. Hmm. It was already night about 9pm already. So I said okay, let's go to the pharmacy and see if we can get drugs. She dressed up and we went there. We bought some drugs and she took it. For a while I didn't hear anything from her I thought the pain has subsided. Only for this girl to start again about 11:30pm Omo. How I wan start? Naso I rush go outside go look for bike o. Luckily I saw one of those late night guys and he charged me around N500. Normally, the hospital na just N100. But trust naija bike to take advantage of any situation na. I was tired but the hospital air was just feeling somehow so I stepped out for fresh air. By 6am, she was awake but feeling normal. Well after everything and test we found it was appendix disturbing her. Had to start another round of payment. By God's grace she was operated successfully |
Bouncingbabyboy:hmm Why do you say so? |
Dtruthspeaker:I did not imply any of what you said. You made up those and then talked yourself away. Slaves did not battle because they knew they were weaker. Regardless of how physically strong they are, they do not have armies and no guns. So even if they want to fight, they will only be massacred. One of the strategies they used was not fighting because that's just calling to be killed. Rather it was through negotiations, appeals, talks and even sometimes rebellion in which they are beaten but they never retaliate because such retaliation will only be seen as declaration of war which will lead to their death. Check out the struggle in South Africa. The freedom there wasn't gotten through war but through been beaten to the point where the whole world intervene. So, freedom was never gotten through the strength of the slaves but by appealing to the conscience of the masters. |
Samantha125:it's like that if you're the one that left them and then later returned. Personally I don't think I'll ever meet any of them physically again. |
dominique:why do you feel the need to swear just to prove that you didn't read? Like I never even asked or argue with you about reading it or not. Like we didn't even care if you saw the post or not. And here you are swearing. |
Diamond098454:trump CAN raise voice at his wife, beat her and do whatever he wants to her if other men allows it. And there's nothing any woman can do about that. |
Jerryblaq:this and kidnappings. Our government is failing. |
Bendeco02:yes na. You go like dey follow person whey dey banter you? |
Bendeco02:nor dey lick person nyash under my post ![]() |
pocohantas:as usual everything needs to ping off a man to matter |
pocohantas:why do you think your reading my post matter so much to me? |
pocohantas:it doesn't matter if you read it or not. |
Bendeco02:that's the problem. Men become civil and suddenly women think they are as strong as men. It's like when you pretend to fight with a child and let them win and suddenly they boast about that they can win you in this type of fight. Funny |
Dtruthspeaker:when in slavery do you think the slaves got their freedom because they won a "battle"? Or because they "appealed" to their masters and it was only when a sufficient number of their masters agreed, then and only then, did these masters get together and draft a little document to give them their freedom? The natural law is simple: survival is only for the strongest. Nature is blind to human suffering. There's no iota of 'eeyah' in nature. Your emotions are all over the place and I just can't address everything nor do I want to. Since tinubu is misbehaving, how many of your "fightings" have yielded any positive effects if himself and the others simply do not draft laws? And tinubu in cohort with a few can decide to run this country indefinitely. Ugandan president is doing that. How many of the human right fighters and freedom fighters have yielded any positive results in Uganda? Strength is the ultimate advantage in nature. Not your feelings. The over how many million Venezuelans celebrating could not toppled their president and have to wait for America to do it. The same America that says nations are sovereign and no one should interfere with their internal affairs. That same America toppled the government when interest clashes. You see that constitution is fickle? It's a pretend document. We know what the real rules are and who the real strong men are. Forget all these your little court houses and what not. They are all a joke when strength comes in. All that matters is power. Constitutions and rights get folded and unfolded every single day. And when you quote Christ saying if "they take your clothes let them take your shoes" It's all wrong. If i can take your clothes, you cannot "let" me take your shoes. I'll take them as well too if I want to. If i point a gun to your head and I collect your money, I can also collect your cellphone. You are not letting me take the cellphone. I'm collecting it because I can. |
Dtruthspeaker:there are not two laws. There's only one law: survival is only for the fittest (the strongest). Because we are humans, we make laws so even the weak can survive. That one is not a law perse but a figment of our imagination. If you and I are stranded on an island and there's only a cup of water and only one is us can drink it to survive, trust me, nothin matters other than strength. |
Bendeco02:like I said, if you ask 10 guys today, most will likely slap back. That protective nature is simply getting washed away. Which of us young guys today will give birth to a boy and asked him not to fight back.? Our fathers taught us that and we are simply not passing it on anymore. It stops with us. Now let's see the future |
dominique:I guess you're a lazy woman reading and responding to this at this point? Or you're one of those daughters of eve that works with men overnight? |
pocohantas:don't worry, when all I predicted happens, you won't even be allowed the luxury to think. By then you won't even know what emotion is because you'll be totally controlled in every aspect. It could come as a religion as well where women are seen as unclean and filthy and thus must never be heard or seen. But unlike the old religion, these new religions will have the technology, they could keep you in an unconscious state where your only duty is to birth men. Giving birth to other women will be controlled to the point where only those needed to replace the "birthing" machines will be allowed to survive. Have you you not seen this in fictions before? Have you not seen this in Muslim societies or in the past traditions? So, let more women kill more male children. We pray for more women to comitt more crimes against men. Let them prove to more men how terrible they really and these acts can serve as the accelerator for men to want to subdue these women. Have you not seen how the world works? When any military topple a democracy, countries around the world will issue statements. But once such military start killing innocent civilians, it accelerate invasion of such a country to save them. So, yes, I hope and pray women to commit more crime against men necessitating a fight back. No man really cares what goes on in your skull as a woman. You simply do not have the strength to bring your imagination to life as much as men. Like I said, strength is God in this world. I can see you playing your little mind game of trying to gaslight me into playing the game of white men maltreat black men. My dear, I've never been maltreated by a white man. I probably will never relate to such feelings. |
pocohantas:strong men are God. If they say worship us today, and make it into law, women will worship their men by law. The king nebuchadnezer in the Bible created a god, wrote it into the constitution and ask everyone to worship it and by his army everyone did. If strong men band up together today and say women must be this or that, nothing in this world will stop women from being the this or that. And this is the dangerous path feminism is tilting towards today as I see it. It's only a matter of time to me. They have this illusion of power because of constitution. But these little documents are only protected by America. If America gets toppled, most countries will be free to do as they like. Look at places where America has no influence, do you see their women "fighting" any battles? Of course not. But once a stronger nation comes, these ideologies craw in. But even in the America itself, the boys are becoming tired and burdened. And the tipping point is getting closer. It takes only one person to crumble. Look at the LGBT movement. They were strong under Biden Today, they are almost toothless under Trump. It takes one man to crumble. Let's be careful. In this world, only strength is supreme. Only strength is law. Only strength is God. Forget these laws we draft to protect the weak amongst us. They can be yanked away by the strongest at anytime. |
If anyone decieves you as a woman that you're fighting for your right, simply understand that you're "appealing" or "begging" men for your rights. We've seen many people who thought they could fight the military rulers getting slăughtered or roped around the neck like they are nothing. Of course in their mind, they thought they were fighting but they simply are never matched. Military rulers often surrender because of a greater threat from stronger nations like the United States of America. Never because of weak civilian whom they can pick up at any time. This is the same thing with women. Ask yourself, how many times have you "fought" Afghanistan for women's right and it worked when the men there have not allowed it? It all boils down men granting you guys these privileges. And today you see them with their little social media profiles talking about strength ![]() |
Before now everyone say don't touch a woman no matter what. That landscape is changing really quickly. Men today are saying "if you hit, you should be able to take back" And this taking back is where the danger lies for women in the future. Women have rights not because they are deserving of these rights or because they "fought" for these rights. Women got their rights because stronger men allowed it. Yes, women have rights because men allowed it. They may think they fought for their rights. But there was no fighting at all. Men simply passed laws to protect them. And these laws are not built in nature. They are merely documents protected by strong men. And like every document, they can be torn up and thrown into the trash bins by the strongest (which are always men). Take for instance, in democracy the government is protected by constitution which is merely a piece of paper protected by the strongest (our armed forces) Once sufficient numbers of armed forces get together and say no to it, the president and civilians suddenly become powerless. Yes, now the president can reign supreme, pretend to be all powerful and behave like he's the almighty. But that's because the armies are playing the pretend game of living by the constitution. And I think women today are pushing most men towards each other. They are daring more men and these men are getting into the same mental space. And more importantly, they are banding together on social media. A few years ago, it was believe all women, today fewer and fewer men are believing women. A few years ago, a man gives up his chair to a woman, opens doors and will stop to help if she's been attacked. Today, no man does this. That protective nature which made men draft women's right is getting lost and once that is completel eroded, it becomes the survival of the strongest. |

Jesterinjay:seriously. Some class mates will see you and want to be hiding. I just wonder what for exactly? |
Jesterinjay:True. The one girl I spoke with said she doesn't remember me again. But still knows my younger sister. The one other girl remembered me but was saying she's having a hard time remembering my face. The only guy that I have been able to track and spoke with was acting kinda nonchalant. He was my biggest competition in class then but I don't think life has favored him that much. Not like I myself I'm there yet or anything. But he was kinda reluctant to chat with. Will still reach out to him again tho. Saw one just now and he's doing content creation now. Recently began with about 10+ followers now while still doing 9-5 jobs (don't know the work tho) I'll try to reach out to him, hopefully he responds to my message. The others especially my best friend are getting hard to find. Hopefully I ping of these ones to reach more of them. |
FriendsAndFans:elder don talk ![]() But 2009 no be yesterday again o. That's like 17 years ago sha ![]() |
This almost drives me crazy once in a while ![]() Sometimes I just wonder where my primary school mates are now especially since we left primary school I was not opportune to meet any of them. I left primary school in 2009. Excellent nursery and primary school, oworoshoki, Lagos. Immediately after my primary school, I left Lagos state to a boarding school in my own state in the north. When I returned during some of the holidays, my family had already relocated to another state from Lagos thereby cutting off any chances of meeting any of my old friends. Ever since then I've found it hard to locate any of those guys. Even now I keep forgetting some of their names. I was their class captain then and headboy so I had deep attachments with many of them and teachers. Sometimes I wonder about them especially the ones I remember. Especially my best friend then, Patrick. I have combed Facebook for him but no traces of him at all. I found some on Facebook mostly with dormant accounts and just one or two who are active. The rest, it's as though they never existed ![]() Sometimes I worry. Sometimes I wonder. But I truly miss them all. A lot. I've thought about going back to Lagos to visit the school but I'm still schooling and also do not have the financial strength yet. I recently saw the primary school have a Facebook page now and I'm following them. So to you, do you miss your primary school friends? |
