Nbotee:they will continue to marry more wives and give birth to more children. They will outbreed and outnumber you and then come back and propose the bill again and because they are larger, they will win. Just dey patient and see. |
Inside chosen there are specially chosen ones too. |
Stolen:you think? Like seriously? Every battle ever fought in modern times has always come from mass media. These |
opineflu:what happened to doing the work you were paid for? If he had done the job all these would have been prevented. You think he just woke up one day and decided to involve a third party in the matter? |
Barrywilly:nobody has the right to steal another person's money. If you feel your life is valuable, don't put it on the line. Do what you're paid to do. It's bad we are now hiding behind the law to commit evil. You're talking about being treated in an undignified manner, did the artisan treat the employer in a dignified manner? Before this matter reach soldier, we all know the amount of frustration that man went through. Soldier is always a last resort for people. |
If he had done the job he was paid to do, this would not have happened. Some People are too dubious for chrissake. Of course as an artisan he feels the other man is a big man and 1.5 million means nothin to him. This is how most Nigerian workers think. You hire them for a job and pay them, they start playing you forgetting the other person also has emotions and struggles on his own end too. I can tell you everyone of us has passed through similar trying times in the hands of other people. It's frustrating and some people even have to give up their own money just because they have nothing else to do. If this man no sabi anybody, the artisan for chop the money just like that. It's not fair to work under the sun for your money and one thief without gun will just want to steal it. I'm not supportive the employer as someone is now dead but the frustration he must have passed through after working hard for his money is not something anyone deserves. The artisan caused his own death and there's just no other way to think this matter. |
fintech almost killed people with their charges. Jesus |
Hotfreeze:Oya oya u don catch me I love cheap things ![]() I fit geh small 20k from you as you rich |
ManirBK:or they shared the loot and this was his share. Criminals don't stay together for this reason |

Emmanuel900:you're the one with comprehension problem. Maybe you should confirm issues before jumping in to drop opinions that won't count |
Skiibii is here arguing that Odeshi is fake and doesn't work and that if anyone is willing to demonstrate it, he'll give the person 5million naira. My response to this is simple. Skiibii should hold his 5million naira. I don't need it. If he thinks Odeshi is fake, let him put his life on the line. I'll do the test. They will shoot me first and if nothing happens, I get to pump him with the same gun. Let's do it life for life. Equal value. I mean if you believe it does not work, at least, let's put equal energy into it. Too many times Nigerians love to price everything like money is the worth of every conceivable thing. If Skiibii is ready, he should forget about the money. We'll do it for free.

meobizy:I wonder how people expect customers to leave better service and cheaper price and go for a bad one all because we need to have sentiments. Same with glo. I mean I want to use a Nigerian network provider but if I buy glo data, network will just disappear and sometimes no network for a whole day. So, because it's Nigerian product, my own business should suffer? May the best service win abeg |
Emmanuel900:lolz. You yourself just said they have cheaper products and free shipping. How then do you conclude that it's false advertisements? Some of una dey talk like small pikin |
Last week Friday, a girl from my class spoke to me and showed me some of the things she ordered and received from Temu and this actually got me thinking about things. Jumia has been in Nigeria for almost a decade now and I've never ordered anything from jumia. I can also tell that most Nigerians don't order stuff from jumia except those in Lagos or Abuja and their environs. But Temu that recently got here, people are already ordering things from them in almost every part of the country. I placed my order of N23k the same day on Friday. And this is not just the two of us. Almost everyone in our class has ordered something from Temu this past week or planning to. I think jumia could have done better in capturing the Nigerian market but they were very laid back. One thing I hate the most and feel every Nigerian hate the most on jumia is their shipping fees. Add this to any item you want to buy and it instantly becomes higher than transporting to your local market and getting the same item. I never really understood the appeal of buying from jumia. But so far, I've been spending time on termu seeing some really good items at very good prices and their shipping is always free. However, when shopping ensure you're aware of sizes. The sellers will always declare actual sizes it's up to you to visualise it and see if it's something you actually want. A friend bought a towel measuring 10cm by 10cm and thought it'll be a waist towel. I mean the size alone should tell you that can only be a face towel. But so far, I think Temu is doing well

I'm trying to get a good deal on offerup for a MacBook. I've seen some really good deals but the problem now is that I can't find any active pickers on nairaland anymore. Everyone I have seen seems to stop being active around 2024. Is there any other active picker out there? Or is there any other way to get goods from offerup to Nigeria? I really need this service right now |
Clone2020:we wait on you |
Dogalmighty17:can be from benue state particularly the idoma people |
Abee79:lolz. You think it's financial fraud? |
Abee79:he got 18 years imprisonment yesterday or so. ![]() |
But one oga settles his nwaboi 1 million you guys are calling it slavery. Yet you spend 6 years in school and left with only a piece of paper after paying millions in fees. Nigerians are terrible |
bigpicture001:don't mind them. How many students after spending 6 years in school get 1 million on the day of graduation? Nigerians are terrible people |
foolbuster:I'm shocked too sir. People spend 6 years in school for the same training and leave the school with only a piece of paper as certificate. This people paid school fees, departmental fees, house rents and others. But leaves with only certificates. No one call this slavery. The apprentice leaves with 1million, did not pay a dime to his educator, he was given free accommodation and feeding for the 7 years with the equivalent of education in his head, how's that slavery? And now he stole from the man giving him these values and we are condemning the man? This is painful to watch. People forget that the apprenticeship system is a form of education and see it more as work. Apprenticeships is education and it's magnanimity on the side of the boss to give you money. When you go to learn tailoring, you pay, learn and go your way. No one gives you money after. So why condemn someone that gives money after learning a trade from him at no cost to you in the beginning? We are destroying something beautiful with this entitlement mindset. Disgusting. |
flexyrule:what I don't understand is why he decided to lock the door from inside. I mean if the robbery was unsuccessful and you couldn't get cash why not go back into the restroom or ceiling and then wait. After people start coming in then you come out? Why lock the door and expose yourself? I'm thinking it's probably instinct once he's inside, he decides to lock the door and forgot to open it as the night goes on. We'll never know sha. |
flexyrule:I think he came for cash not digital money. He probably thought money will be left in places where he could access |
Odogwu who are you leaving your achalugo for na? These ladies are something else. God knows I'll be something else too when I want to get married. He wants to invest and then you want to be 100% in ownership of the business? Sadly most men would agree to this. Go on Facebook, all a girl even a single mother need say is I'm lonely or in need of a relationship and you'll see guys queuing up in her dm. Alot of men act too desperately and with no goals. Op, please structure your life. |
