Yes, it is advisable if you had an interview and u were asked and u said no cuz at that time you were not. You are just sending it to be in their record and print any reply and keep in case

quote author=Nita2013 post=31932130]Ok thanks for d update.
Someone asked about sendin letter of intent to d embassy informin them of d intention of birthing in canada. Do u av any idea as to that?
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 8:13pm On Mar 23, 2015
Use the online application and fill everything applicable to you and be truthful. A family friend got visiting visa for 4 yrs and came in Feb. There was no space to say her intention to give birth here via online. Wen she got to Toronto airport. The office has her stuff on the screen and when she was asked, she said there was no slot to say to give birth. The officer was happy because she said the truth and told her that most Nigerians come and lie when it's obvious they are pregnant. My family friend came in at 7monthd plus nd had her baby this morning

Nita2013:
Justwise I give advise based on d experience of pple I kno av given birth in canada. I clearly stated "apply when u r not pregnant" I did not say apply when u r pregnant. If someone is not pregnant and apply for d visa, should d person state reason for application is childbirth?
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 8:09pm On Mar 23, 2015
Yes. It's different from the US. Yes, you have to be on ground. One of my family friends from Nigeria just had a baby. She got the visa first and then came and all.is well. Cost depends on if it's CS or not, location, doctor, hospital and providence.

Everything should cost more than 7000 dollars even if it's CS.

Phema:
Porting things. . . smiley wink

Hotstepper, the major problem with birthing in Canada is being able to get a Dr that will accept an international patient. The few I was able to communicate with said one has to be on ground and even be a resident before she can be evaluated. So, it's quite difficult to know the financial implications and be armed with proof of financial solvency.

Any idea of any affordable Dr/Hospital that accepts international patients without insurance? What is the price like? Document processing Etal.?

4 yrs meaning within 4 yrs u can enter and leave Canada. Visiting visa doesn't give you the privilege to work

4 years visiting visa? will they be allowed to work withing these periods or just sit idly?
HealthRe: Help! 5 Miscarriages In 2.5years Of Marriage. by Hotstepper(f): 6:00am On Mar 11, 2015
You have to try not to sleep with your wife for the first 3 months of her pregnancy. Secondly, maybe her womb is hot that the baby can't stay longer than it does so she needs take sumthing. Happened to my cousin nd there is no english medicine for it. She was given herbal and after 3 months of taking it, she conceived nd the baby stayed nd was born last year October. Thirdly, pray to God as there is nothing he cannot do. Good luck

TravelRe: I Am In Dilemma, Do We Relocate To Canada Or Stay Back by Hotstepper(f): 10:44am On Mar 01, 2015
U couldn't have said it any better than this.
Nigerians loves to complain without action. The person that said he has lived abroad and naija is still home, I wonder what he's still doing in the host country.

solomonwis:
I really find it difficult to understand so many people who are "abroad" and will castigate all manner of people including the magnanimity of the host country for allowing you in and claiming citizenship.

If you are not at peace where you are, please go back to Nigeria. Nigeria is your own country not anywhere else! You can't complain wherever you are and still remain there, it doesn't speak well of a sane mind.

Truth is, it is not everybody that has had it smooth abroad neither can we safely conclude everybody "abroad" has had it rough. Even in Ghana, a former colleague who was transferred there complained of the treatment meted out to him by immigration officials who asked him for his work permit in the most ruthless manner. They didn't even allow him say nothing before he was bundled into their truck! In the end, he parted with a $200 bribe/fine. Hey, that's a black man to his fellow black man!

Historically, human beings emigrate and will continue to do so in search of peace (or if you will, greener pasture). Some will find comfort in the course of the sojourn, others won't! Painting an all pathetic story of "abroad" has not and will not stop this. In fact, some people (especially the adventurous ones ) are more receptive to these stories and will like to experience such.

The bottom line is, we all can't live in our own island pretending that other islands don't exist! Slavery or not, we all need one another.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 5:08am On Feb 26, 2015
That is not true. People who weren't allowed inside are those that lied and it also happens in the US as well. A family friend of mine I helped just came in yesterday with her hubby nd even da customs officer told dem he's happy they said the truth cuz a lot of Nigerians will come and lie when it is obvious why they came. It is not illegal to have a baby in Canada just have ur money, paid accommodation nd doctors appointment nd you are good to go. My family friend applied in Jan nd was given 4 yrs visiting visa. She was asked if the embassy in Nigeria knew she was preggy when she applied nd she said no cuz it was an online application and nowhere to input it. The key is to be truthful cuz ur visa application is in their system nd they will pull it is once they swip your passport. At 7monthd plus, r u sure any airline would agree to take u?

ifegy:
If your intention is to give birth in Canada, it is very, very likely you won't be allowed in.
Note: there is a thread on giving birth in the US:https://www.nairaland.com/617280/give-birth-usa-cost-procedure

FamilyRe: Husband and wife at loggerheads, any advice? by Hotstepper(f): 9:22pm On Feb 19, 2015
It's not a big deal. The man should buy her the TV nd not car. You see, I did the same in my house though it didn't bring fight sha. My hubby loves to watch soccer nd foreign movies nd I love naija movies, sitcoms etc. Infact, it's only one naija sitcom ( Tinsel) that we both enjoy to watch. So wen soccer is on, I am forced to watch it with him or I go outside nd gist which I don't mind cuz all day while he's at work, I have the TV to myself. But during weekend, it's annoying cuz I don't really get to watch until soccer is over nd I don't want him to go outside to watch it either so I will just sit there and watch with him. Politely, I asked for my own TV nd gave my reasons cuz even with the TINSEL we both like to watch, when it's on nd soccer is on, he prefers to watch soccer. So he was able to get another TV nd put in the room. So while he's watching what he wants in one TV, I watch what I want in the other one.

The woman should accept his apology nd just ask for TV In a loving way

IF. This could also be part of the reason he's treating you anyhow. You have to be strong, get something doing to occupy ur self, dress sexy for yourself, ignore him, stop monitoring or asking questions nd see what happens over time. Don't even ask him for money to buy anything for yourself. Give him golden silence.

Please, don't you have parents or relatives? And why won't u allow u to take ur children ? Is he home 24/7? Plan your escape and run until matter is settled nd he's a changed person

Shiningmama:
Honestly, life is so cruel to people like me. If not for these lovely kids I would have speak to m legs. But I can't Leave them and he won't allow me to go with them. Atimes when I am crying, my daughter will be wiping my tears with her hand telling sorry

Was terrified too when I was preggy with my daughter to d extent I was planning to opt for CS from day 1 of pregnancy but my sister inlaw said no.
I kept thinking abt the pain but @ 38weeks I was scheduled for CS cos her weight. Once u see ur bundle of joy all ur pains will just fizzle away grin
If u want epidural pls do go for it, gone are d days of I wanto feel what labour pains feels like. Dem no de give award for labour pains.
Agreed! I don't have pain during period too

Stillfire:
Lucky you. Some people have it easy, some don't. Same with periods, some don't even feel pain, some feel pain.
FamilyRe: Epidural Vs Natural Birth Please Share Your experience. by Hotstepper(f): 9:47pm On Feb 10, 2015
Instead of being scared, take a lot of time to pray and tell your God what you want and it shall be given unto you.

My 2 pregnancies were painless nd no contractions. Infact, the doctors are still wondering how that's possible. You can imagine them telling me to imagine pooing so I can push. 2 pushes and babies are out. Mind u, I just had a baby 5 months ago.

I tell God what I want and the funny this is cuz I don't feel pain or contraction, God always lead me to the hospital at the right time nd am always told I would have delivered at home if I wasted like 20 more mins

Tee has said it all. Your son will get to go to school. Day care is quite expensive nd u might even figure out that the money u will be making will be going to pay for it. U might want to look for Ppl that do in house baby sitting that is certified nd take the baby there. Safe journey nd which city will u landing?

If you are not pregnant now, no need to say you are pregnant. If after getting the visa and in a long run, u become pregnant, then you have to notify them via email that you are preggy and would love to give birth in Canada. Make sure the reply you get to print it and have it with you cuz the immigration officer at the airport in Canada have all those details.

Let me know if you need anything. For application, go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp

Thank you very much. He is so angry because the bank did not even notify him. It was just that he has been expecting CIC to take my only nd they didn't nd he went to the bank only for them to tell him.that CIC tried taking money but failed. He said bank won't remove limit, instead let CIC take money in batches. He is so upset and don't know what else to do

damkollins:
My only fear is that 13th of December is too long backwards for him/her to just be notified of the issue now.
Normally, retrials are done within a week for such issues.
Anyways ...let him/her contact her/his bank to remove such limit.
Cheers.

Switch to all natural products. I use black soap to bath my daughter and she's just 3 months and for cream, I mixed ori, olive oil and coconut oil and that's what we all use. It leaves our skin smooth.
