I really do think the essay part of the Eligibility conditions is not neccessary. Its not an academic challenge, it should just be a give away like you already insinuated to single mothers. Not all single mothers who would be interested would be able to write a 100 word essay in clear english.

i had to open a new id just to ask this question.

i just submitted my package as the PA as a family of 3,my spouse,child and myself.

for the past few days my spouse have been moody,after serious pleading with him i heard the shock of my life from him.he just told me while living in england he used a diferent name and dob about 10 years ago to get a visit visa which he renew about 3 times and always backdated his passport anytime he returns to nigeria and in reality he never spent 6months at a time in uk.

in the last 2 years before we returned to nigeria about 5years ago,i was on a uk work permit,which he also applied for spouse dependant visa on my work permit with his wrong name,therefore to the uk authorities am married to his wrong info.

my question is this?do i withdraw the fsw application or how do i correct this mistake although all information on the fsw package is our true details apart from my spouse newly revealed secret.

he never used this passport to travel to any other country or applied for any visa to any other country with this wrong details

infact he has never used that passport or visa since we returned to nigeria 5 years ago.

my fsw package was received last week.do i wait till when my card is charged before writing cic?

another major problem is,he used his brother name and dob to get the uk visa 10years ago and this brother now lives legally in canada,wont this become a problem to his brother who isnt yet a PR holder in canada?

all other country visa we have are on his correct details,he never got into any problem in uk with the police and we returned home voluntary even with unexpired visas.

all documents ,npc declaration,marriage certificate i submitted are all genuine.this revelation is news to me and am really confused.

will cic find out about this?since he is just a spouse dependant and not a PA.

I already included our nigerian PCC and my Uk Pcc in my application.

please i need serious advise.

Hello house. Please what is the process to obtain spouse visa for a student studying in canada. Is it advisable to apply for the open work permit straight up or just 6 months visit visa? What documents are required and what is the processing time?

Good Day my brothers and sisters. Please another friend of mine have a question about this English test of a thing. She is the PA but her hubby took da test too so they can get extra 5 points.

Now, just like herself, must her hubby get all the components 6.0?

His exam result is as follows; Listening is 7.5, Reading is 7.5, Writing 6.0, Speaking is 5.5, Total is 6.5

She has to retake the entire exam because at least 6.0 is required in all the four components. Sorry about that

Jenny thanks. HotStepper. Previous posts are not so detailed and you know lots would av changed between 2013 and now.I am 27weeks along. How do I contact a midwife or doc cos it seems they are not enthusiastic about signing on late patients.

Then how much would it cost. Best flights. I need to be armes with more info. Thanks.

The aim which is very clear-Safeguarding the future of their kids. Besides, he can always visit.
In my opinion, its "more in favour" of those who don't have killer jobs in their country of origin.
Just my observation and opinion.

Well, "I think" Ferdimako is not too wrong.
I have 2 guys who work I'm Chevron and Shell respectively. They moved their spouse there and came back to continue their work, because, they might not get a job that may pay as high as they've got now.
The Chevron guy moved three weeks ago.
A third guy I know, is a Nigerian in Iraq. The guy earns more than his contemporaries in Chevron and ExxonMobil. My "Broses" , the guy moved three days ago and plans to evaporate Canada when his leave is over due to his impressive job in Iraq. IRAQ O!!
My classmate got a job recently in a Nigerian school, just plans to settle his family there while he comes back because, he's got other "shows" to run here. He should be back soonest
So there are a lot of critical thinking in making decisions like this. E.g.
1. Most will move permanently if their financial/life standard is not up to par in their country of origin.
2. Most will just land with their families, settle them and leave almost immediately because the salaries earned in their country of origin will be OK to take care of their families and avoid been a middle-class guy in Canada while he can live big here in naija and still "spoil" his family in Canada

There is one Nairalander so far I know is a true Patriot...Ishilove. This Nairalander I believe has the resources to leave Nigeria but has chosen not to...why? because she believes she can never be happy anywhere else but Nigeria. If Ishilove wants to travel out for a visit, I am sure she would apply for a visa on her Nigerian Passport, go for her holiday and come back. I believe she will even birth her children in Nigeria...that's a true patriot and only such people have the right to call themselves that. The day she decides to relocate for a better life, I will take that 'patriotship' medal from her.

Many Nigerians are dual Nationals. For example those carrying american, british, australian, canadian and european passport....when the one with american wants to visit the netherlands, they use their american passport why? because it gives them easier access. Same goes with the others. The only time I remember my Nigerian passport is when I arrive in Nigeria and show it to the custom officers waiting for bribe. I would be deceiving myself if I called myself a patriot...patriot si gini melu (say wetin happen)?

Many nollywood stars marry men based outside Nigeria. Mercy Johnson got blasted a few years ago after she had her first child in the US. She went to get her daughter's Nigerian passport in Atlanta or so can't remember was well treated, she came out saying she was proud to be a Nigerian and bla bla bla but this same person ran away from that same Nigerian to have a baby in the USand has done same with her second child. Ini edo married an american husband got herself a green card and is in the process of divorcing her husband...that one has secured her future....if Boko haram crace reach her backyard, she would run away with her green card. Uche Jumbo....that one married an American. Kate Henshaw married a French though divorced...Oge okoye married a brit.....these same people are die hard Naija fans...for the whole Nigeria with all the hot looking men there them no find husbands?

Yea...u lose to right to claim u are patriotic..patriotism is like marriage...in good and in bad times u are in for the union. You can't run when things are bad and turn back when ur abandoned son has made money and claim a good mum...oh ur father drove me. No no ...we are not accepting that version...u can't water it down.
