With a degree in IR, you can work for multinationals, embassies, NGOs like UN and goverment but you have to be ready to learn a foreign language like French if you want to work in those orgnaization or outside Nigeria. You can also be a diplomat when you qualify for that. i was doing Int. relations but switched after 2 yrs. i intend doing it for MASTERS after I must have learnt french,

Good Luck, you have a very great chance of getting a good job cuz Int. relations opens a bigger door just like Politicl Science, Int. Development Studies etcccc

I dont know where in abraod they request for your grades cuz not where I am, when you are called for intreview, wat you answered will determine whether you will get it or not. Limiting just to 2.1 for employers to make their job easy is something I do not agree with knowing wat Nigerian educational system is like. Everyone should be given the opportunity to come for an interview if they reach the requirement of the job they are advertsing.

Also, this issue of SEX, GRADE, SEX OR ORIGIN should be removed in the CV,

All I can say here is that Niegria should stop these 2.1 issue and offer people jobs based on their knoledge, This is how it is done abraod, only in Nigeria/Africa per se dat age, sex, 2.1 or none is asked in da CV,

I guess the lesson from this story is that 'it is better for you to date someone that is in love with you that someone you are inlove with' especially if the person doesnt care and gives excuses

I visited UNIZIK 2 weeks ago b4 returing back to North America. It is a nice skool and everything there is new. It is in a developed city/town so no problem finding things and light is alwayz there cuz I was there for 5 dayz and didnt regret it, wat else do you wanna know?

My dear, it is a pity that everyone is busy doing something or the other cuz they have to pay some bills but hey, the gurl should have spend sometime with you than being on MSN but that is what saves burden for some people and also depends on how close you are to the person.

So as others have suggested, dont be afraid to go and see movies by urself. It is done everyday cuz everybody's timetable aint the same so you have to make use of the time you have before you head back to naija. Dont know if you have friends you know from naija around there or something. You can also log on to all these messenger and talk to friends if it gets so bad.

Hopefully, by the time you come back again, you will probably be 18 and of age to go to clubs and maybe reconsider coming in WINTER cuz people like me are lazy about going out in this session. Summer or perhaphs Spring would be much better, hope you enjoy the rest of your stay

remember i concluded by saying that i do not buy people who lives in their car per se den doing to build manions in nigeria, if u live in an apartment per sef, and building a house in naija, da person must have a vision, it all depends but it boils down 2, most naija ppl like 2 go and show off esp. da ones 4rom da us and london, live according 2 ur means oooooooooooo
