I cld always tell if i'd date a guy in the 1st few minutes of meeting him, so chances her by the time he asks me, theres an answer ready and waiting. I'm really very impatient and like to get straight to the point 

my cousin used to use the line tho, her excuse was she didnt want to tie herself down in case some better comes along and at the same time leave that option open,,,  never did get that tho, if u knw what u want, why settle for less?

I think its partly to do with territoriality, a woman would feel threatened by another who has a rather close relationship with her man. as women we need to be the centre of attention at all times and another female in the vicinity dilutes the attention or maybe steals all the attention away from her.

I personally can't stand women without substance and I'm unapologetic for that!

Why must everything be put on hold and why must their entire lives be dependent on a marriage
I grew up in the same Nigeria and everything I've seen puts me against the idea of marriage

one of them came into london for a long visit as she just got out of med sch,,, she's ringing me up every sec wanting to hang out and hit the clubs. turns out her "man" broke up with her and she's desperate to prove to the world that shes doin just fine. i absolutely refused to comment on her situation because this is the same person who told me i was messed up for wanting to concentrate on getting an education and a career before i think of gettin married.
its 3 years later, my career is well on d way and babygirl who planned a grand wedding after med sch suddenly finds herself single,,, who does she run to for support?

I have nothing against marriage, but why would anyone make it their life's focus? afterall men don't run around desperate for marriage do they

A relationship is a partnership and no partnership can work with one person superior to the other.
Equality in a relationship depends largely on what u mean by equality,,,, as far as I'm concerned equality doesnt necessarily mean the woman has the right to shunt aside her role as a mother and home-maker,,,
like any partnership decisions should be taken together and not imposed on the other party,
in terms of money, both parties should be happy with whatever arrangement is decided on,,,

some people are quick to quote the bible about women being subordinate or whatever,,, that is pure sentiment.
we are no longer in biblical times and many men no longer live by biblical rules so why the hell would u expect the same from a woman.
someone mentioned why there should be 2 captains in the ship and my response is why should ther even be a captain in the first place.

woman arent slaves to be ordered around or to attend to your every need (carnal or otherwise), any man that expects that of his wife is breeding hatred in her heart. the modern woman is educated, has a job and capable of making decisions for herself. if as her husband she agrees to let u make the decision on her behalf thats a different case, but imposing your decisions without asking her opinion is unacceptable!

The way i see it, a marriage like partnership will only survive if both parties are involved and happy with every aspect.
