I'll be traveling by air to Ghana for a very important exam. Seven months ago, I got the yellow fever card which has my name and my passport number.
Just two months ago, I had my international passport renewed. The new passport has a new passport number alongside with the old passport number.
Now my question goes thus; do I need to go back to port health in order to replace the yellow Fever card I already have (so that this new passport number shows on the yellow Fever card).
Or can I just present at the airport with my yellow Fever card alongside with my old and new passport(which contains both by new and old passport number)
This is going to be my First travel by air and my first time leaving the country. So I'm trying to do everything to forestall bad eventualities
No issue the yellow fever card is 10 year duration and is yet to be expire, you are good to go since both passport number contains on your new passport. No worries at all
The representative on phone says form can only be filled online and not with pen.
I'm like how do we do that?
Normal process is to download form, fill, then take to center.
She's saying that is not the process.
Need enlightenment in this regard
If you are talking of Visa application form you are to fill it online then download and print then take it to the center. You can only sign your signature manually after printed.
I hope this is not APC playing a dangerous game with the votes of Southeast?
I hope Nnamdi Kanu will not go out and resume his “No Election in Southeast” mantra?
Because if he does, that would greatly affect the votes that Peter Obi will get in Southeast and increase the chances of his opponents.
I just hope Nnamdi becomes Obidient and not work in antithesis to the interest of Ndigbo.
Why agbadorians always confused Una said Obi is Biafra president agenda at the same time claiming Mazi Kanu will spoil Obi agenda. May confusion continue to rain in agbado kingdom
Ilekokonit: Once husband and wife sleep in different beds or in different rooms, the marriage is almost over and may not last for very long
Husband and wife have no business sleeping in different beds or in different rooms.
The excuse some women give is that they are nursing a baby who must breast feed through the night and thats a fair point but at some point, the baby will stop feeding on breast milk and at that point, the baby can go and sleep in his or her cot and not in the parents marital bed and after some time he or she or they if twins have to go and sleep in their own room and let Mum and Dad have the needed private time so that they can bond if their young marriage is to survive long after their children have left home (which they will someday).
But the mistake a lot of women make is to over prioritize their time with their baby / toddler to the detriment of their marriage. Why go into a marriage when at the first sign of a baby, the wife imports the baby permanently into her marital bed under the guise of breastfeeding and in some cases even when the child is more than 3 years old, he or she is still sleeping beside the mum at night and often times the man has been stylishly shunted to sleeping in another room and even if chairman wan nack during the day, the 3 year old child is furiously banging on the door for the parents to open the door because the child has been made to always feel he or she has to be beside the Mum.
But wives who want their marriage to last will know where to draw the line and give unto Caesar what is Caesar's in a TIMELY manner.
A word is enough for the wise woman who wants her marriage to last way past when the kids will have left home to start their own families.
If you understand the negative impact cause by Covid 19 to marriages you will not talk this trash. During Covid 19 period lots of marriages got broken because Covid forcefully put couples under one bed or same room in a longtime, couple who are better of and happy living in separate room or stay with each in a while. That’s why we have high rate of divorce worldwide during Covid 19 pandemic.
Speaking to them on phone, a lady said you must have been to one of USA and UK in the last 4 years to be considered frequent traveler.
In the last 5 years, been to almost 10 countries, including France. The lady still said I should pick first time since I only traveled to France once and all other countries once as well, without UK and USA.
A lot of confusing policies.
Just cos of Malta, Italy didn't allow me pick date.
Just annoying
That customer service that received your call did not give you right information. I got my 2nd French visa using frequent travel option and I haven’t visited US or UK. Since you have been to 10 countries including France you are considered frequent traveler make copies of your expired visas and head to VFS they will receive it as frequent travel history.
I'm sure you don't know how to read, you just saw woman breastfeed puppy pictures and you start typing. Try and realise yourself from heartbreak. Woman heater. Your mother is a Nigerian woman

lifenija: Okay so i went to abuja to lay ky complains, after they check their system and so i haven't any criminal records but a document tender by the travel agent was flagged by icpc.
So Monday icpc agent says they will get back to me with more details on what to do to clear the black list.
Nigeria det fuk me left n right
That means the problem is not the NIN correction but your details were flashed on the immigration portal as BLACKLISTED or wanted criminal. Now you are referred to ICPC to clear your case before proceeding to passport office. Guy this is a long journey for you, I wish you all the best
pufframmy: AND YOU think he/she can change status within schengen state ?? or he will need to go back to home country to apply for type D visa
Is possible but difficult. Last time I travelled I met a guy in Paris who immigrated from abdijan and he narrated his immigration story on how he was able to change status. He came in with visit visa and got work permit after some months but then he was staying outskirts of France close to Spain board, according to him he had advantage because he speaks French, when he got his papers he moved to Paris for work.
michaelshodipo: Good day everyone, please I have a question concerning the passport to ask. I was born abroad in the 1990s. So back then when coming to Nigeria, my mum made a passport for me in her surname. And now i want to do a new one in my own full name, won’t it give issues? And also is it true that i have to use a nigerian birth certificate to do a new one or i can just use the birth certificate of where i was born?
Which year did your mother did the Nigeria passport for you in her name ? If is this e-Passport biometric era then you will need to visit NIS head quarter Abuja and you a change of name.
meljoe: I do , I’m asking because of my daughter who’s going to the Uk first before going to France , she was given single entry , if she’s stamped at France aiport while on transit to Uk she can’t uSe that visa to come to the France again
Okay, she might not get stamped on transit, I'm not sure of that since UK brexit but before now is not required. However if is schengen country she wouldn't be stamp untill she gets to her final destination for the entry stamp.
Ehismarkninetee: Anybody that says Ghana is better than Nigeria, is a big liar. Let me tell you the honest truth, Ghana is only better than Nigeria in aspect of electricity and security. But wait, isn’t that the key parameters to measure if a country is doing good? I came to Ghana in 2021, I can’t say it’s the worst decision of my life. But I have had my own fair share of the popular saying “This is Accra, Cry your Cry” omo, it has been hard, but I cannot say that there hasn’t been days that were extremely good. Icame into this country using an iPhone 7, now I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max, it was in this country I met davido one on one. This time last year I was a millionaire here in Ghana. So u see, I cannot say Ghana has been bad to me. Fast forward to today, I am penniless. At the verge of being thrown to the street. House rent is due in few weeks time. No money for bank account, I don’t even know where the money will come from. I have contemplated returning back to Nigeria, but am I going to borrow the money to do so? Even if I return back to Nigeria now, will I return back to my father’s house? These are the questions. Well, for now. I think I have to keep being positive and remain on my grind, hoping for God to make a way for me. That’s my only hope.
Your story is not complete, @ bolded what were You doing then to get the millions and what's the cause of your challenges that brought you back to ZERO. Meanwhile, your Destiny is already in your hand. you can raise money by selling your iPhone 12 pro max then buy Nokia touch, then use the money to relocate back to Nigeria and start afresh, is good to learn in a hard way sometimes.
ObamaMessi: After my extensive research both online and offline, I discovered the main reasons why many Nigerians are fleeing to other countries with somany (Nigerians) poised to swell the ranks of those who have left the country in search of safety, political stability, and quality healthcare and education for themselves and/or their wards. This is like indirect exportation of Nigerian citizens considering the number of people trooping out in search of greener pastures.
Here are the reasons why Nigerians flee to other countries:
- Political Instability
- Insecurity:
- Terrible Economy
- Underdevelopment
- Corrupt Justice System
The API survey show that the U.S, Canada and UK topped the list of preferred destinations for fleeing Nigerians. Others are France, Sweden, South Africa, Ghana, Brazil, Germany and other countries. This countributes to brain drain in Nigeria.
What can we do to stop this? Should we continue fleeing to other countries?
Unfortunately all those fleeing are Tinubu's Voter's card and I'm not sure he will get 100 votes come 2023 Obi-Datti full ground OBEdiently waiting to cast their vote wisely for a better Nigeria.
meljoe: Will My passport be stamped at the airport ?
I thought you have travel experience. Yes by the immigration on your arrival at the airport , make sure you hold your returns tickets in your hand it will be ask by immigration officer
StagethemTVee: Pastor Tobi Adegboyeha of Spac Nation gifts Davido‘s Baby Mama and Fiancee Chioma Rowland, a Birkin Bag worth $95,000 which is about N70,000,000.
According to the Pastor, the bag requires travel documents to kove from one country to the other. He is heard telling the couple, "you can’t carry the bag through the border if you don’t have this document".
Davido was very grateful as he hugged the pastor and shouted, ' My Pastor'.
Treadway: almost my entire undergrad class and MBA class contacts don dey UK with more billed to move..99% obviously with the study visa. I want make everybody wey wan go sef go, more opportunities will be available to those here that need them. The japa japa noise is what I'm sick of hearing. Everywhere you look to/turn to nowadays all you hear is japa oo. Lol. Na real wa! Lol
No be small thing ! Could you imagine yesterday I visited immigration office to renew my passport, meet with some guys who came to pick their passport talking about how they plan to Japa that called my attention to come into their discussion because they were seating close to me. I ask them what plan do you people have if you get there, not to my surprise to hear them say they don’t have any plan just to travel and hustle there. I have to enlighten them advise they have a tangible plan or acquire demanding skill before leaving otherwise na double Nigeria go happen to them abroad. I give them instances, In fact they start see me as their mentor from that moment.
Truth is that many Japa gang don’t know what they are going to do abroad but join the bandwagon of I WAN JAPA that’s why Nigeria have more criminal cases abroad than any other country.
Dirtyyansh: Quite funny! This is a faceless forum, so let us keep it at that. You are not a fan of japa, then stop forcing your believe onto people who deemed it fit to travel. If abroad does not favour you, fine, there are many people doing extremely well because of their migration abroad. Keep those silly thoughts to yourself.
I laugh at the bolded abroad don’t Favour me but I travel abroad on holiday every year. I’m not discouraging anyone not to Japa but majority of Japa don’t have plan or skill needed to survive abroad and don’t want to take advise but go ahead to disgrace Nigeria abroad very soon even African countries will ban Nigerians from entry their country. I repeat you have not travel to western world before that why you can not comprehend what I’m saying. All you want to hear is that abroad is heaven sorry is an illusion to think so. Have a nice day
Sparekey: Good day house, please i really need some answers. I paid for my passport today DIY and I selected Tuesday date as appointment date. Please what do I need to go with on that Tuesday? and please can I extend the appointment date, it seems I don't have all the required documents available
Yes you can capture days after your appointment date. Someone who have issue with NIN wasn’t able to capture on his appointment date he has to go and resolve the issue came back a week after and capture.
This is just a baseless argument. Man-made death in Nigeria is more than what you have in the USA, even with all the noise in the mainstream media. Life is tough for the majority here, and everyone works around with their eyes at the back. Travel to these countries, and experience what life is, and tell me if you won't change your mind. I am done engaging you!
You sound like someone who never traveled outside Nigeria before. I’m not a fan of Japa gang I have lot of travel experience mostly in Europe and I can tell you they have their pro and con too. Let me not waste my time with you here
