oluwadabira111:I really don't see how...with how selfish I know Buhari to be, nah all man for himself...and as it is evident in the way and manner his close allies lost out in the APC primaries, many will be shocked. ![]() |
oluwadabira111:Reason Ganduje is always gluing tight to Tinubu, he knows the atrocities he has committed as Governor. He so much desires to be VP to shield him for the impending missiles from the Kwankwassiya group after 2023. ![]() |
Jestin:But with a stingy candidate Nigeria will be able to host the World Cup abi? Very hilarious ![]() Someone like Atiku could be able to pull it of sha, considering he's a lover of sports and participates in it himself. Tinubu's Lagos encourages sports and entertaining events. But on the other hand, Obi doesn't seem to have time for those things "wasteful spending", except he appoints round pegs in round holes, whose advices he would listen to. Concerning potential development of sports, entertainment industry and host of major tourney in Nigeria, this is how they rank.. 1. Atiku 2.Tinubu 3. Obi/ Kwankwaso Note: Each may be useless or useful in other areas, but in my opinion, this is how they rank in Sports considering their antecedents |
Dapson73:True sha...nah all your points dey possible |
Wahala for the rubber stamp buffalo ![]() Cabal put am for long thing...all the mumu loyalty, where e come land am? If you wan eat with the devil, you gas use very long spoon. But the thing sweet my belle sha, he wants to eat his cake and have it ![]() Dem no born Buhari well make e carry loan approval go the Senate right now...I am sure Lawan must be fuming right now. ![]()

Anybody who wants peace of mind would never want someone like Wike as his vice. Hot temper, rascality, uncouth, aggressive, over ambitious, those are dangerous traits you don't want in your deputy at any level. The guy go do pass wetin Atiku himself do OBJ ![]() |

![]() |
abbey621:Nah wetin I wan hear you don admit so, that Tinubu didn't keep quiet because he doesn't he doesn't want chaos, but he did because of his Presidential. No one said he should preach violence like Igboho and Kanu, but as a leader the Yorubas were looking up to, at least to speak out in such situation, but he failed in that regard. And hey Mr Abiodun, before you try to twist it, read thorugh your quotes with an open mind and read meaning into it. Las las nah una wey dey naija go suffer Am. ![]() Abeg make I try sleep, a long week and a long work. |
abbey621:So if Obasanjo can rant about happenings in Nigeria, who is Tinubu. Let's stop deceiving ourselves, he didn't remain quiet because he didn't want to country to go to hell, he did because he didn't want to offend the North, knowing he will need them to achieve his Presidential aim. So criticising the brazen killings here and there is asking for war? Responsible and selfless leaders make statements like "I criticise in strong terms the senseless killings of my people, but implore everyone to remain calm and not take laws into your hands". And it was also the feeling of not wanting to cause war that made him help victims of Northern tragedy and looked the other way in the region abi? Now I even see the high rate of hypocrisy going on here, the likes of Tinubu kept quiet because according to you " he did not wanting to cause war", but you guys want a sitting VP (to show his hands) go against his own principal and the cabal, the little he did almost even caused him his life. I am sure if Tinubu happens to be the VP, he would have asslic*ed the North to became President. Just admit for once. Well whether you is ardent fans admit or nor, most Yorubas are deeply disappointed in him for keeping quiet. You mentioned Amotekun, the same Amotekun we only hear about in Ondo and Oyo which is not even an APC state. Amotekun doesn't even function where Tinubu have the most influence in the region; Ogun, Lagos and Osun. And you want to give him credit for that? Votes in the SW for APC in the was at its lowest last election despite having a VP candidate. Tinubu will win the SW, but I can assure you it won't be a landslide. Not because he is a messiah, saint, or loved, he will win because 'omo eni oni shey did bebere ki afi ileke si idi omo elomiran'. Finally, if you ask anyone at all who isn't Tinubu's ardent fan or a Northerner, when they really was a relief during this administration, I am sure they will mention while Buhari was hospitalised and Osibanjo the acting President. At it stands, you guys should worry more about Igbos in Yorubaland, most educated youths in the region, and the chameleon Buhari, who made Atiku the groom's father during Yusuf's wedding. Ire oo! |
abbey621:If Tinubu is as astute and fearless as you paint him to be, why was he silent all these while despite the wanton of killings openly and discreetly going on in Yorubaland? Not once did he openly criticise the senseless killings. When Pa Fasonranti's daughter must murdered by Fulani herdsmen, as confirmed by her driver and later, as proven after the culprits arrest, what did Tinubu say? "Where are the herdsmen, where are the cows"? Markets were burning in the South (SW) , he didn't even sympathise with them not to talk of showing the philanthropic side he showed when tragedy struck I'm the North; donating 50m on each occasion. Just like Atiku who wasn't man enough to stand firm on his criticism of Deborah’s murder- both old men are self serving. When the then DSS director, was misbehaving, before and during Buhari's sickness, Osibanjo, as acting President suspended him (later even recommending his sack), even when the cabal dared him. Someone even Buhari couldn't sack o. Same Osibanjo's reign as acting President was the only time Nigerians were happy with this APC government. He cooled tensions...Npower was going smoothly until Adeosun was booted out and the scheme taken away from him. |
abbey621:So in your church mind you think Tinubu will perform wonders? A technocrat as the no 1, will do his own free will. When Osibanjo was trying to proof himself, not only did his crash landed twice, he was relieved of the responsibilities Buhari initially gave him. While we aren't even sure if Tinubu would win the Presidential election, I can't but imagine the kinda government Tinubu will run if he wins. Baba wey don nearly privatise Lagos finish, baba wey dey encourage thuggery, baba wey dey impose, baba wey through Alpha Beta dey frustrate governors he forced to use the Tax company. Although I know all the front runners are chronic thieves, but thieves get levels. But I admit he is far better than Atiku, except for his health of course. I mean, the guy couldn't hold a flag for crying out loud. How is he going to cope with the rigours of the electioneering campaigns? Well sha, if God has destined him to lead naija, no Jupiter can stop him, otherwise, he just labours in vain. I would really love to be proven wrong about him. |
abbey621:Technocrats can only excel where and when they are given free hands to function, not when you are working for a President you can't afford to outshine. |
Froshloaded:You people just keep shouting his political career is about to do this and that. For someone who isn't a career politician, but a technocrat, what more can a person regret after being VP for 8 years? Only career politicians like Aregbe should be extremely worried. |
tuoyoojo:24hours is a long time in politics, how much more a 6 days, let's wait and see the running mates before we go come start proper permutations ![]() |
And the headache starts for APC, apart for having a lot of hurdles to cross in selling Tinubu due to so many factors, I just can't wait to see how and who they pick as running mate to Tinubu. Interesting times ahead ![]() Kwankwaso to tackle Atiku in the North, and Obi to frustrate Tinubu in the South. But I don't trust Fulani men, Kwankwaso fit go step down for Atiku in the run up to the general election. ![]() |
Peacecore:I agree with all your points except for the fact that Abiodun caused the rift between SIA and Tinubu. Their rift started when the former did away with the Osoba faction, turned down Alpha Beta, long even before SIA's 2nd term...then Yayi's relocation to Ogun too caused serious bad blood between the duo. They only used Abiodun to get back at him. Indeed, the duo of Osibanjo and Aregbe were massively deceived. Well, Osibanjo has reached the semi pinnacle of politics in Nigeria, even despite the fact that he was never a politician. He would def get international jobs and practice Law if he so wish. And he would always have an ex VP's privileges, and would always be welcomed in Ogun. It is Aregbe I really pity, he lost in his home state and lost in Lagos too. He is finished politically! Except he somehow wins Atiku's heart by working against APC in Osun, and delivering it. Maybe he can have a home in PDP, but in APC, he is totally finished |
yinkus6750:You don't expect him not support him. On the day of the election that brought Dapo to power, Osibanjo had to fly down to Ogun to take care of things when thing were going sideways. In addition, there some strong people in Ijebuland that influence things, including the Awujale, ( all who worked hard to make sure Dapo won in 2019). If they had all supported Osibanjo, Dapo would have had no choice but to toe same line |
money121:You mean the ministry that was taken away from him? Things were going smoothly with that and Npower until Zainab took over |
mujibson:Everybody nah omo Igbo, because we don't all sleep and face the same direction- Tinubu's direction? I was born in Lagos, schooled all my life in Ogun before I moved abroad to further my studies. I come from Yewa North LGA, Ogun State. No kind of blackmail, be it emotional or otherwise would make us support Tinubu. Although brilliant and smart during his younger years, his arrogance, greediness, level of corruption, age and health status will be his undoing. We need forward thinkers, vibrant, and new age visionary leaders; Osibanjo and Obi fits the bill perfectly. They are not saints, but they exude confidence and hope! |
Osibanjo, I pray you win. God forbid you lose, I will switch my support to Obi. I am a yoruba man, but for for the sake of my children's future, it is either Osibanjo or Obi for me. God forbid either fails to win the general election, I will know I have tried my best with my one vote to change our narration as a country one last time. |
Make I sleep for 2 hours come watch the counting of results |
Oh my God, see the executive box as everybody stood up with applause to welcome him back to his seat, including Buhari. ![]() |
Redomi:I am telling you, he's proud of his boy ![]() Osibanjo, na man you be ! ![]() |
Nah Buga dem use invite the star boy....the DJ head dry there ![]() |
tonididdy:Ehn ehn nah...so incoherent and talking gibberish...like a student who crammed for a debate...with this kind of speech, he can't even win a LG election |
God, we kind boring man is this? I waiting for Osinbajo before I hit the bed abeg. I no want delayed news. His he stepping down or going all the way. If he steps down, I would love to see the reaction on Buhari's face. At this juncture, I am very afraid for his aspirations. Many questions running through my head right now. Can Osibanjo pull this off? |
Seun:The man doesn't have any angle, he's just there to add to the numbers, I doubt he bought his form with his hard earned money ![]() |
Honor10:2 more after this clueless man. A woman and Osibanjo |
HALCYON44:And yes, most Americans are regretting it. The man keeps making blunders, stumbling and getting confused atimes. The man I am sure won't even dare seek reelection |
HALCYON44:And yes, most Americans are regretting it. The man keeps making blunders, stumbling and getting confused atimes. The man I am sure won't even dare seek reelection |
otipoju:My thought exactly |
Adamu was brought in at the eleventh hour to play the cabal/Buhari's script. With that is extremely decayed set of teeth, I knew he was up to no good when he kept putting all the members of NWC in the dark on all issues. All I know is that, by hook or by crook, the North wants to remain in power, what I see is that they are taking the Southerners, especially our greedy politicians for a ride. They want to destroy APC, so that another unfortunate Fulani man can take over from Buhari, they can't afford any setback to the evil plans they have set in motion by allowing a Southerner win in 2023. |
