ChinagoChiBoy:My thought exactly. Play like this at the World Cup, and we might not even have a point. |
helinues:I believe the girls can do better than this. The kick and follow spirit he is inculcating into their game will be counterproductive at the world stage. Super Falcons used to be very unpredictable; building play from the back, making use of the wings and the midfield interchangeably. But now, once they meet their match, nah kick and follow. |
WibusJaga:Happy ladies |
Amayabor1:Blame it on the coach...he doesn't know his starting 11 yet. Not too technically and tactically sound jare |
Zonefree:Shinzo Abe wey nor be failure, wetin end am? Even Peter Obi, wey dey form simple man go pad up IF he becomes president. The thing is just that, no matter how good a President (politician) is, he/she will have those who resent him and maybe want him dead too. Not talk of a unique colossal failure like the mannequin from Daura |
Voiceofthestree:Some of these people still doesn't believe being active on the SM plays major impact in electoral victories in Nigeria. Well, I mean, they have the right to think so, majority of real election day voters aren't on the Internet, atleast not yet. With this year's PVC drive, it might change slightly in the near future. |
Voiceofthestree:And you think he's on Nairaland to read your comment? Hilarious ![]() You better visit his authentic SM pages to drop him the message and hope that his SM handlers would relay your message to him |
naija4life247:It doesn't work that way, it would be counter productive for Tinubu's ambition |
It will be a tough election, but the Tinubu effect would give the underperformed Dapo Abiodun a slim victory. |
Hmm, Nigeria is finally gone. What a hopeless country. Too arrogant to ask for help and too timid to face it's many demons heads on. My major qualm with all these problems is that, Southern leaders are playing along because of what they will eat. It is high time we broke away from these people before they infect us fully with this cancer |
Amaju Pinnick keeps killing Nigerian football with his greed. The Super Falcons played one of their best football and AWCON under Ngozi Eucharia Uche, an ex Super Falcons player. Her team was pummelling all opponents on the continent for fun; they were a beauty to watch. And even held their own on the world stage. But because Amaju needed a foreign coach he can collude with steal more funds, he went for an American college coach, one with no impressive CV. I watched a video of the pre-match training the other day, the instructions he was dishing out reeked of gross incompetence. As far as I am concerned, Nigeria won't find it rosy against Botswana tonight. |
Brings back memories |
Na so budget padding dey start ![]() |
Hmm |
holubee21:Those are tram tracks...tram and train tracks are built differently. |
Omniman:When there are multiple accurate navigators to help you move around without hassle |
9jaRealist:Exactly.. immediately I watched the replay of the tackle, I knew she was in trouble...i was surprised she continued. No player who places club over country would continue after that tackle. As for her forms for Barcelona and Nigeria, while Barcelona is made of world stars, same can be said about the SF. And while Barcelona plays to her strength from all angles by making almost precise passes and crosses, nah anywhere belle face Nigeria dey play. |
Truetalk3139:Of course there is...she was suspended for the opening match |
Bonarotti22:My thought exactly. ![]() |
Ebi and Chikwelu should call it quit with the Super Falcons after the World Cup. At the ages of 39 and 38 respectively (ages which I am sure are football ages o), it is no surprise that the young SA team ran them rag. I have always said it, until Nigeria goes back to ex Super Falcons players, this team will continue to struggle to impress. This oyinbo man no get any clue about African football, he just come collect his own share of our oil money. |
tesppidd:Once beaten twice shy...you think Wike will trust him to deliver on that after he was played by the North twice in 2 months ? He would be a fool to buy that. They obviously detest him in the North. |
GeneralPula:Although i agree with you, but he still would have been caught at the long run. He shares the same Alma Mata with Obi Invictus, he was a junior colleague to the latter. And remember, the Obi has been singing like a bird in exchange for a soft landing since he was caught. And again, the FBI does thorough investigation of any suspect whose name pops up, they don't just pounce, they collect and collate enough evidence to make sure that their catch doesn't slip through their grip via the court. More guys are on the watch within the ring, it is just a matter of time |
Zulu2022:Na confirm Arewa boy him be...he went to the same Uni in SA with Obi Invictus. A couple of more guys are in that ring. |
Back in Nigeria, I hardly make stew for Yam and rice without putting enough locust beans, especially my Ofada rice. My efo riro...oh my God! ![]() My love for it is epic! But unfortunately over here, na so so dried ones dey, and the stress of cleaning it and bringing it back to life is too stressful for me jare. I miss it though....very much! |
crownprince23:Well, I am not in the country, hence, I wouldn't know the true street credibility of Peter Obi. Although I know SM frenzy over a candidate doesn't translate into votes on election day, but if PO's supporters are able to sustain their PVC sensitisation campaign, although I won't still be enough to give a victory at the polls, but it will definitely affect Tinubu, just like Kwankwaso would be a headache for Atiku. |
donphilopus:Unfortunately voter apathy in the region is a very big problem Tinubu would have to solve before then. Something Atiku and Kwankwaso have no problem with. Again, the Peter Obi tsunami in Southern Nigeria is also a stumbling block. He has a lot of hurdles to cross, can't wait to see how he manoeuvres them all |
Cowards!!! Why attack the bus carrying the Press Crew and not the one carrying VIPs? They went for a softer target, knowing fully well the last 2 or 3 vehicles on a convoy are rarely guarded.I am sure many arrests would be made this morning |
AnambraPrince:No she's not, she has never made it to the podium at the Olympics, she finished 4th at the last edition. I hope she does at the next edition |
A hearty congratulations to her! She's really breaking barriers and unrelenting too, she deserves a place on the podium at the WACs, Commonwealth and Olympic games respectively. Okagbare comes to mind, I hope Tobi is squeaky clean and remains so, because all eyes are on her now, she should watch her circle and avoid banana peels. |
Permutations everywhere ![]() Make I rest my case face my life until 1. Tinubu finally chooses his running mate, a dilemma people have allows pointed out even before he won the primaries- where would he find a suitable and acceptable running mate? 2. Obi and Kwankwaso wakes up to the fact that they don't even have a chance without merging... the problem with this is that, on the one hand, Kwankwaso won't want to lose the name of his party and identity, neither would he want to play 2nd fiddle, while on the other hand, Obi won't want to disappoint his growing followers and play a 2nd fiddle to Kwankwaso. I mean, who drops the chance of being VP to an Atiku, to become running mate to Kwankwaso? Big dilemma, but the fact still remains that, the two lack structures to make a national impact, politics is local, and for the likes of Obi to make an impact solo, he will need the enlightened youths online to match their support with action by going head to head against the their counterparts on the street (louts, artisans, market women, etc...who actually are historically the real election day voters) 3. But the game changer is if Kwankwaso steps down for Atiku...then it is game over for other candidates. But the problem with this is that, the Presidential elections come before others, if Kwankwaso chooses to step down and support Atiku, it would have ripple effects on his political followers during the National Assembly elections which happens simultaneously with the Presidential elections, and the effect would again spread to the Governorship elections later on. A vivid example is the AD/OBJ alliance in 2003. Like I always say, I don't believe Nigerians have suffered enough, when they do, they will do the right thing...it is just unfortunate that few selfish and corrupt delegates are usually saddled with the responsibility to choose for millions those to choose from, now we are left with no choice that we have to put up with these 4 candidates. By a mile, these aren't our best brains, all corrupt with skeleton in their cupboards (albeit there is levels to their corruption). Well, 24 hours is a long time in politics, how much more about 8 months. Time will tell. |
The potential replacement on Tinubu's ticket...but e go still backfire sha |
majole:I will be shocked if he does otherwise |
