Am approaching my 38thweeks nd havnt felt sick for once but my doc gave me fansida tabs yesterday nd while examing me, he asked if i was having vaginal discharge wc i told him yes though odourless nd it dosnt itch me but he said its not normal for a pregg woman to have discharge nd he gave me Amoxyl antibiotics 3 tyms daily but i hav refused taking it cos i dnt knw if its safe. Nd plss who knws if d discharge is normal or not and is d fansida for antimalaria safe? Ur advise plsss

It's quite common to have more vaginal discharge during pregnancy.

What you're noticing is probably normal leukorrhea – the odorless or mild-smelling milky discharge that you may have noticed in your underwear before you were pregnant. There's just a lot more of it now, partly because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area. This discharge is made up of secretions from the cervix and vagina, old cells from the walls of the vagina, and normal bacterial flora from the vagina.

You'll probably notice more vaginal discharge as you approach labor, although it's likely to look somewhat different from the flow you've become accustomed to...so since it isn't smelling or itching,you are safe

But when dh came back and was eating hmmm he started complaining that the soup is so salty and was asking me why i over-salted the soup. Even up till now i feel like adding more salt to the soup as if there's no enough salt. Pls is anytin wrong with me. Hubby said i shud go to hospital that i hv a problem.I need advice pls (9wk+)

you have to reduce ur salt intake.,bin pregnant makes u crave for odd tins mayb urz is lickin salt..normaly too much salt intake isn't healthy nt to twk of a pregnant woman,it causes pregnancy induced hypertension whch may also be caled pre eclampsia(forgiv my spelin)...jst take tins easy,its well wit u...njoy

My boys dnt sleep @ nyt nw,d ey jst open dos eyes n kip staring,if dey see me sleeping dey start crying m tired ooo....then mothers I really had a terrible experience,my after delivery flow stpd after 4days,I was happy initially,I didn't tel anyone,after the naming cermony,I started having dis pain like labour pain,twas so painful,it was as if anoda baby was abt coming out again,I was scard,den I told my aunty,she screamed as if something bad had happened(of cos twas bad) I went to d hospital,dnt let me start saying all I experienced cos twas bad n so so scaring,hubby later told me that the flow its called lochia should @ least flow for 8days after giving birth,so please mothers if your flow stops befor that time after giving birth,contact ur gyno immediately...God bless us all

congratulations...u r highly welcomed...abt d frequent urination,I tink its normal cos of d pressure of the uterus on the bladder so there's notin wrong with u...about the sleepless night,jst make sure u rest n take enough naps..its well with u..wishin u an absolutely stressfree pregnancy

@ humming,y u wan feed dem for 45mins,u wan overfeed dem ni,for dia age they shud be taking bout 60-90ml bottle of milk per feed(weneva thyr hungry),and mak sure u pour any remnants away o,its nt safe to kip alreadymade milk more than 20 mintues

som tins came up so she wil be coming on Sunday..since the breast isn't bringing out enough milk,I give them formula and breast milk,If I give them formula around 10am,den arnd 12pm,I breastfeed again

How come hummingbird shouted when they started stitching. I also remember reading it on a thread on nairaland. the lady said the stitching was really painful. I'm trying to eat less o, I stopped eating beef only chicken or fish, mostly fish though. I eat lots of fruits, efo riro, then my swallow is usually small. Soft drink once in 2 weeks, only water. I don't eat icecream, no chocolate.

For all dos mothers out there,u will smile very soon by God's grace..to al dos out dia too dat are thinking of abortion,the best gift from God is that baby,its really the raw form of God's love n care towards us,abortion doesn't make you unpregnant,it makes the mother of a dead child..after 9 months,you will know how precious that 'tissue' is....God bless you all

Thank you all for the good wishes..may we continue to celebrate more babies by God's grace..my birthing story is quite a long one n I will say the ones I can remember...wen I later got home on Sunday,I was throwing up,hubby gave me the ORT but it seems it wasn't working,I was feeling very uncomfortable,den I sneaked to d kitchen,took a very chilled lacasera n drank it,I felt relived,anytin I wnt to throw up,its d gas dat comes out,went insyd d bathroon,took a cold shower, came inside and slept(hubby was makin lots of cals,contactin pple),arnd 12, I woke up to pee n I saw water on d bed,hubby wasn't asleep yet I cald I'm,he smelled it,n he askd me to start dressin up dat my water jst broke..he had already contacted his collegues so I was to give birth in a private hospital,by d tym I got inside d car I cudnt move my leg again,my breathin was becomin faster,we got to d hospital in Agbara around 1am..by 2.3oam,I was 8cm dilated, den I was getting real tired,hubby was ncouragin me,den he said I asked him to sing my favourite song for me(if that's what it takes by Celine Dion),by 3am,I cudnt sit again,I was jst telling God to forgive me all my sins cos I tot dat was the end of the road,those doctors and nurses were God sent..dey came to check me n I was already 10cm ,they wanted to wheel me into d labour room but I cudnt sit,so I walked down there wit my hubby all along the way..they prepd me..now to d main business,den I remembered wat Tskjii said dat 'jst 2 pushes and d baby will pop out'..all I cud say is that labour for me is lyk 'climbin a mountain wit a timer set for u,u climb as if someone is running after u wit a gun pointed @ u have to run for your precious life,,and ur life depends upon dis race'' dey teared me oooo,my first baby came out n his cry filled d room,den I felt lyk sleeping,I felt relived,after mintues,I didn't count bt dey said twas 4 mintues,my second big boy came,the pain wasn't as much as the first one..I didn't hear him cry wen I black out,but wen they wanted to stitch me up,dat was the only time I screamed,I didn't even know wen I was wheeled back into the room...wen I woke up,hubby was beaming wit smile,den I ask I'm y d teeth outside,he told me he jst defeated me 2-0,I shouted(we ddnt check d sex,we wanted a big suprise) n God really suprisd me

Just came back from the hospital now..it was really stressful cos I avnt registerd @ d hospital (badagry gen hospital) but hubby and his friends helpd a lot bin doctors too...they ask me to come back weneva I start seeing water or wen I start aving contractions..I av bin peeing almst every tym n I av bin trowin up too...I avnt bin able to kip anytin down too..m rily getting weak
