I will ask you, what is the percentage of people out of 100 that claim no travel history and got visa? I doubt if they are more than 20, that is "if". The truth is , genuine documents, good presentations and some support documents can give you visa on a first time, with much of luck. Nowadays, i will advice anyone thinking oversea countries to try to build their histories well, cos these people be getting really tougher with people with less or no history especially the schengen countries and making lot of immigration policies.

UK does not look at that travel history. The application is looked at on its own merit. Previous threads had people like Justwise commenting on things like that. He advised two months salary as the total budget for the trip those times which many people fail to do. Even if you want to spend more than that just use that to do budget. This guy may ne saying the truth have someone who has been to U.S severally but been denied UK severally as well. Reapplying for the person you quoted is for him to address the reason he was denied. What if he has unquestionable cashflow which he did nit explain

Yes please. A little update; My application got refused on the grounds that my bank refused to respond to inquiries on my statement. Reached out to my bank. At first they denied, after 24hours they called back apologizing that they were just seeing thee email. 87 usd and all the stress down the drain Cc @hunee

That is definitely not an issue. In 2023, I applied for renewal two days after mine expired and it was granted. My current visa expires on January 30, 2024, however I applied today for it be renewed, and I'm certain it will be approved.

In your case, I suspect it was approved but wasn't affixed in your passport in error.

Although it has been nearly seven years, I'll suggest you write to the High Commission, seeking to know if it was approved or refused and the reasons for refusal if so. Let them know you took no action at the time because you assumed it was refused and had no need to reapply until now. And that this information will aid in you fill the application form truthfully.

Another option will be to just apply, and raise these concerns in your introduction letter.

You are applying for renewal from there? dont get that.

Yes it was me, remember my sticker visa was for 30 days would expire on or before the 31/12/23.

But you advised me to apply again since I needed to be in SA in Jan using the vfsonline, i did and they denied me can you imagine claiming that my bankstatement is not up to 3 months, i sent them an email showing them my bankststement was up to 3 months, they replied saying there cannot adjust the decision and I should apply again..each application is 87 dollars. I did and till today there is no feed back on my application.

In all fairness to admin or mods, people shouldn’t be hounded off the thread too quickly for being recalcitrant. Even justwise cautioned him.
He could have used common sense to see the cautionary remarks he was getting from everyone meant he should adjust. But he was too far gone in his ways to hear anyone

20th of November 2023 and got it 5th of December. It was for a week or so. So I have reapplied for another visa as I am going back to SA. My flight was on the 7th but this people disappointed me and I am looking forward to next 17th as I have kept my ticket open.

We need to say the truth. Giving away 4.5 million naira at this hard time for a visitor visa is crazy.

Generally, lies sell faster than the truth, especially here in Nigeria.

My flight was on the 31st and till now I have not heard from them, to think I work for an SA firm, is very embarrassing. First of all they denied my visa claiming that my bank statement was not up to three months this was in Dec, I sent them an email sending them the BS I attached to the application and that it was 3 months and they asked me to apply again and that they cannot reverse their decision, this is after paying 87 dollars for the VFS online, one would think they will treat it as a priority when I reapply but NO.

These people are fraud, yet they claim Nigerians are the cause of their problems.

Please also my yellow card was issued in 2021 with my old passport number but my details pop up on the yellow card website and it says my card is valid. Can I still use the yellow card like that or do I need to do a new one with my new passport number?
PS; I entered Qatar with same Yellow card in March 2023 but I don’t know how this SA own works.

These are the documents they have asked to be uploaded but I want to know how to add my business documents, son’s birth certificate, landed property documents, etc. Can I merge them under any of these documents listed on the site? Also what do I write in the letter of explanation? Do I also need book tours since it’s a tourist visa? If so which sites can I book tours without paying? Please help 🙏🏻

Hello guys , This is to update you on my progress :


I applied for DHA evisa

on 3/10/2023, completed payment and documents upload on 12/10/2023.

45 days after I completed payment and document upload I sent an email hacc on 27/11/2023 to follow up on the application but there was no reply.

On 4/12/2023 I received an email notifying of correspondence on my dash board .On the dashboard it showed :

Application Status : complete
Progress Status : Adjudication outcome received.

However there was no link to download the the document containing the correspondence.

I have seen several posts here with people experiencing this, sent an email to Hacc and the eye button appeared within hours or at most a few days.

I wrote several emails to Hacc but the eye button never showed up on my dashboard.

They replied twice . The first reply, they asked me to look for the eye button . I checked all over my dashboard but there was no eye button.

In the last one month I sent almost 32 emails with screen shot of my dashboard showing no eye button or document.

They replied again this week stating that their records show that an outcome has been issued . Again they asked me to still go to the dash board to click on the " outcome", this time they didn't mention the "eye". In the second paragraph of the same mail there was a contradiction to the first paragraph, it read

" An outcome will be communicated with you as soon as the application is finalised."

I have read this thread backwards upto more than a year and I have not come across a post with information of outcome download eye button taking a month to appear
