It is detailed. I am traveling from Melbourne to johannesburg on the 22nd. Then from Johannesburg to lagos on the 24th. Coming back to Johanessburg on the 7th of January, leaving 10th of January to Melbourne.
I submitted this flight itinerary and they are yet to pick my file. All these flight are booked. Why the delay?

Hello guys, please how long does it take to process South African E-visa?
I have been waiting for for a week plus now and my flight to South Africa is on the 22nd. I am just transiting South Africa to lagos. But I may stay a day or two as I gave that gap.

My study visa will expire on 31st December, 2023. But I plan on renewing it after the expired date because my international passport is not yet out. Please will I apply for a renewal of the expired visa or I will apply for a fresh/new study visa? I will be making the application here in Nigeria, not in South Africa

a friend, i knew used 4 visa before, they gave him 1 year after, when he apply for the 5th time
I think they issued this at their discretion
and from my research, I think after using two of their 6 months issued visas, the next one will be 1 year

Not sure why you need a contact but the process is straight forward.

I applied for mine of Thursday 30th November, by yesterday 4/12/23 I got a text about the approval. They forwarded the certificate to my email afterwards.

I applied for France and they gave me only 10 days single entry

Got my 6 weeks multiple entry visa . Applied 2nd November and it came 27th November

I’m a frequent traveler. I have uk , France, and Turkey visas

The backlogs of persons looking for visa appointment for work/study interview have not been cleared, but there is improvement from what it use to be before especially in the area of getting visa approval, which is the most important.

@Labey71 Write a formal appeal to be submitted physically at the embassy in your place of residence or South africa through courier or proxy.
Emails dont resolve this kind of cases faster. The system is slow to respond to emails.

Please read very well this instruction,as i will not be speaking on it further.

2.Department of Home Affairs, Pretoria, south africa.

Do it both side.

Visa appointments are available now both for study/work, it is not as it use to before.

flight within Europe is cheaper than train and bus. Ryanair is the most affordable. 15euro to 80 euro depending on destination
