sheepheart: Hi all, I need some advice. I was granted a visitor's visa (6months)to the UK this march. Its a 4 day trip and would definitely go and return. My question is can I apply for either student/ temporary workers visa/ visa sponsorship jobs before my UK Visitors Visa expires? You applied for a visitor's visa. To apply for other categories, you have to return and follow the guidelines on the UKVI page. In addition, Please read and understand the various categories. Then, you will know the best platform for your next trip. You are mixing things up (student/ temporary workers visa/ visa sponsorship jobs) The conditions and requirements for these categories are not same as your ongoing visa.Betterstill, you rephrase and make your question much clearer. |

Printed it is best to do an insurance that start with your arrival and lapse with your departure date, however, hear from others. Restricted: Hi guys, does France accept My Bank Statement (MBS) or does it have to be the usual printed statement of account? Also is a 2 weeks Insurance good for a 10days trip or i have to do 30days insurance? |

Hello House.
For those that have been to SA recently, can you please let us know if a booked hotel is acknowledged.
Is it ok not to pay for hotels before arrival and do it on spot at the hotel.
Please advise. This question is directed to all recent travelers to SA, Via OR TAMBO. |

Ashirioluwa: - Bank statement
- payslips:
- Accommodation: Where you intend to stay in France
- Letter from your employer
- Evidence that you are in school
- Travel itinerary
- Travel insurance
- Family status: marriage cert, kids birth cert, family photos
- Sponsor: Add documents from your sponsor in case anyone is sponsoring you.
- Travel history: add your previous visas
- Others: other documents you think will help your application.
Unless you will be staying with someone, I don’t think the one month vacation will fly because of the cost.
Frequent traveler Thank you. If i may ask, is it complusory to attach company account alongside personal account when applying for tourist visas, especially for france. Because this comes up alot, in a case where both account are sufficiently run. Cant the personal account just fly. Also, in submitting personal, mind you, the recipent tenders her company documents? Your careful insights are needed, esp for frequent travelers. Please read carefully. |

Very detailed feedbacks! Sure you had fun. can you recommend nice and cheap apartments you stayed. Most of all, secured place. Folarge06: When I travelled to SA with the e visa in June 2022, I was delayed for almost 1hr cos the immigration told me they don't know about the evisa.I was part of the first batch that used it. They invited one of their tech guys who attended to me and also thought them how to handle it..
I was stamped in for the entire duration of my visa.
I don't know of other airport but e visa is accepted at OR Tambo Airport Johannesburg. |

Thanks mechango: I will just generally advice you have all the documents handy. The only questions immigration officers asked at the poe is "Where are you going to?" But I don't really know about for those visiting. I remember vividly that there were having issues with their system, so it was only one officer attending to e-visa. My generally advice, just print the hotel booking.
I hope you find this useful |

Much clearer with your questions. I have someone currently in capetown, he arrived feb 8th. with evisa, so you are safe with capetown, i do not know about durban. Cruisez: My question is, have you flown directly to cape town or Durban airport with eVisa and was stamped in? Please share your experience if you have.
I am aware that eVisa is accepted at OR Tambo Johannesburg so no issues there. |

Thank you. By what you are saying, it means it safe to fly to Johannesburg OR tambo and expect visa stamp if one meets criteria for entry. Ws your hotel booked and paid for. Or you presented just a dummy ? mechango: Not really, as at the last time I travelled in, which was January 19. There was no separate queue for e-visa. |

My brother. so i referred them as solicitors. Truth , you can not convey the message better than the concerned. They should ask their siblings/spouses/relatives/ etc to join Nairaland, and ask themselves. In less than 10 mins, you can have an NL account. LOL, bro whats good with you? infosoftlife: Such a turnoff hearing from a third party. Best to hear from the horse's mouth, just like the adage " Na person wey wear shoe know where e they pain am" |

What you have raised is a very important issue. Information is key when traveling, if there is anyone here that has flown to SA recently via Johannesburg, OR TAMBO, they should openly tell us if there was a seperate queue for evisa passengers. Please give us an insight. I will be waiting to hear from someone Cruisez: I have read one or two online reviews by individuals who flew to cape town or Durban with eVisa but the immigration officials could not attend to them because they lacked scanners to read eVisa. One was deported the other was granted access after 4hrs delay. Note that the reviews were last year 2022. I appreciate the reviews but I can't find any publication by SA authorities stating that eVisa holders must enter SA via OR Tambo airport Johannesburg. For example, Turkey published theirs so I know the airline and airport to use to enter Turkey with eVisa. I just need reliable feedback, experience or guidance anybody. |

Too much blessings on you. 080bjaked: Checkout Isando Airport Inn. It's very close to the airport and you'd get there with an Uber or Bolt of about 80-120 Rands. It's at Isando which is close to Kempton part and Edenvale when you want to move for permanent accomodations in Jborg. All the best |

Cruisez: Which ports of entry stamps in passengers with SA eVisa? I have searched the internet but can't find useful information on the SA official website. I don't have any itinerary in Jbourg, if I can avoid entry via OR Tambo I will put the money saved to other uses. Message distorted. Come again |

floboyza: Yellow card, Covid vaccination if you have that, PTA (Available fund Nigeria authorities like to ask for that), Proof of hotel booking or letter confirming the address of who you staying with, Passport and visa and that should be it. Accommodation will depend on the area you plan to stay. If you mention an area then I can give you a suggestion. (Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share) Thank you. OR Tambo International Airport. Na wa Africankel: I'm not concerned with who the letter is addressed to, I made my submission based on the address the letter should go to. The first address captured by the chap who asked the question is the CG's official residence.
That being said, letters can be addressed to Visa Officers, as they are the ones the letters are intended for in the first place, being authorized to act on behalf of the CG, HC or Ambassadors as the case may be. |
