Politics2023: South-west Speakers, Top Ex-lawmakers Unite In Ibadan For Tinubu by Hunter2009(op): 4:13pm On Jan 14, 2021
2023: South-west speakers, top ex-lawmakers unite in Ibadan for Tinubu

Current and former Speakers of various legislative houses in the south-western part of Nigeria have agreed to unite in support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting, which was organised by the BAT Foundation, held in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, late Wednesday with the participants concluding that they all need to collectively project Tinubu ahead of 2023.
Those in attendance at the meeting include: Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa of Lagos, his colleague in Ogun, Olawale Oluomo.
Others Speakers and former Speakers present at the meeting also include: former Speaker Adeyemi Ikuforiji (Lagos), Rt. Hon. Suraju Adekunbi (Ogun), Rt. Hon. Muyiwa Oladipo (Ogun), Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape (Oyo), Rt. Hon. Prof Mojeed Alabi (Osun), Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan (Ondo), Rt. Hon. Kenneth Olawale (Ondo), and Rt. Hon. Kola Adefemi, pioneer Speaker of Ekiti state.
Others include: Rt. Hon. Taofiq Abdulsalam (Ondo), Rt. Hon. Oluwasegunota Bolarinwa (Ondo), Rt. Hon. Patrick Ajigbolamu (Ekiti), Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello (Osun), Rt. Hon. Jokotola Pelumi (Lagos), Rt. Hon. Gunju Ojo (Oyo), Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni (Ogun), Simeon Olufemi Popoola (Ondo Dep Speaker), and Wale Afolabi.
Speaking at the meeting, Speaker Obasa said there was need for the body of Speakers and former Speakers to begin the move aimed at projecting the political and humanitarian sides of Tinubu ahead of 2023.
“He has made a lot of people and brought up a lot of leaders politically. So, some of us agreed that outside politics, there should be something that is more humanitarian. That is why we came up with the idea of BAT Foundation,” he said.
The Speaker said the foundation is primarily created to touch lives, adding in the same vein that the BAT movement is aimed at supporting Tinubu politically.
While clarifying that Tinubu is not involved in the mobilisation, he noted that the motivation was that each of the attendees at the meeting had personal and beneficial relationships with the political leader.
“When you have a benefactor who is well known for his benevolence, it is a duty that you must act on his behalf in a way you feel you can compensate such a man for what he is still doing.
“So we are here to interact in respect of what you all believe is around the corner and that is the 2023 ticket to galvanise support in the south-west,” Speaker Obasa said adding that there are plans to replicate the movement in all states in the zone.
He said talks were also ongoing with leaders from the north-central and a meeting would soon hold in Abuja for further discussions.
Contributing, Titi Oseni, who was the only woman at the meeting, described Tinubu as a generous man. She recalled how Tinubu supported her when she aspired to contest an election for the Senate.
On his part, former Ogun Speaker, Bashorun Muyiwa Oladipo, said in politics, no level of support is disregarded.
He also noted that currently across the country, it is difficult to see anyone who can match Tinubu politically.
Speaking also, former Lagos Speaker, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, urged for more support for Tinubu and argued in favour of zoning.
According to him, the country is not ripe for to jettison power shifts.
A top official of the BAT movement and former ambassador, Aliyu Saulawa, said it was only just to support Tinubu the way the leader assisted to make the election of President Muhammadu Buhari successful in 2015 and 2019.

BusinessDocuments Revealed: How Ayeni Resigned From OMS In 2018, Lied To Efcc And Sold A by Hunter2009(op): 10:25am On Jan 11, 2021
Documents Revealed: How Ayeni resigned from OMS in 2018, lied to efcc and sold all his shares to Wells Property Limited.

The allegation by a former director of Ocean Marine Solutions (OMS) Limited, Mr Tunde John Ayeni, that the company was hijacked by Captain Hosa Okunbo has been contradicted by a series of validly-executed company resolutions and other documents was obtained by our reporter which he (Ayeni) signed, transferring his shares in OMS and its other associated companies to Wells Property Limited.
Ayeni had, through his lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the matter and had also raised issues of alleged financial misappropriation by his erstwhile business partner, Captain Okunbo.
His narratives including the allegations most of which were not substantiated or backed up by documentary evidence, were contained in the nine-page petition dated December 7, 2020 and titled: “Request for investigation of stealing and criminal diversion of company fund”.
All the documents made available by the management of OMS in its defence clearly showed that Ayeni was part of the processes and meetings that culminated in his transfer of all his shares in OMS and its associated companies to Wells Property Development Company Limited.
Significantly, he and his wife, Abiola Ayeni, duly signed the special resolution of their Prime Union Investment Limited where he is Chairman Board of Directors/shareholder and with wife as Director/shareholder in respect of the sale of 30,000,000 ordinary shares in OMS to Wells Property Development Limited for a consideration of N2 billion only.
The special resolution was dated August 14, 2018.

All the shareholders had subsequently executed a share purchase agreement and other necessary documentations required to completely transfer all the shares held in OMS devoid of any liability or encumbrance to Wells Property Development Company Limited.
The documents confirmed that as far back as 2018, Ayeni had ceased being a director and shareholders in OMS, having sold his entire shares in the company.
The claim by OMS management is that Ayeni who is neither a director nor a shareholder in the company cannot allege financial misappropriation in a manner as to claim he was affected by its administration as he is just a meddlesome interloper in the affairs of the company.
Besides, the EFCC had, in a letter to the Chairman and Board of Directors of OMS on June 25, 2019, confirmed with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) that Ayeni had sold his entire shares and resigned as Director and shareholders of the company(Documents attached).
The letter signed by EFCC’s Director of Operations, Mohammed Umar Abba, was tilted: “Re: Investigation Activities”.
It read in part: “We refer to your letters dated 20th December 2018, 15th April 2019, 22nd May, 2019 and NNPC letter dated 28th December 2018 on the above subject.
“We wish to state that in June 2017, a petition regarding infractions by the previous Board and Management of Skye Bank was forwarded from the Office of the Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“In the course of investigation, Dr Tunde Ayeni was invited and he volunteered a statement confirming the withdrawal of 29.5 billion naira cash from the Skye Bank. He, however, promised to refund the said funds to the bank and further claimed to have some interest in Ocean Marine and its subsidiary companies.
“Based on the above, investigation was extended to the Corporate Affairs Commission where it was discovered that Dr Tunde Ayeni had on the 8th August, 2018 actually sold his 35 million ordinary shares in Ocean Marine Solutions Limited and 37.2 million ordinary shares in PPP Fluid Mechanics Limited to Wells Property Development Company Limited, a subsidiary of Ocean Marine Solutions Ltd….”
The EFCC had said that its investigation so far did not indict the Chairman of OMS and its subsidiary companies, Capt Okunbo(a copy attached).
Recall that Ayeni was once a non -Executive Chairman of defunct Skye Bank.
Other documents directly relevant and/or ancillary to the validation of the legitimate acquisition of Ayeni’s shares in OMS are published hereunder, including a letter by Mr Ned Nwoko who Ayeni’s lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) mentioned in his petition to the EFCC.
Nwoko, in the letter to the Inspector General of Police, on the funding for Paris Club litigation said he did not know Ayeni and that he related directly and on personal basis with Capt. Hosa to the exclusion of OMS(Document included). Also our Reporter obtained a payment instructions document from office of the Chairman, Ocean Marine Solutions Limited to effect #1 billion transfer to Ayeni's company Olutoyl estate development and services Ltd owned on 26th November, 2018 and the balance was paid over a period of 2 years installment.

BusinessYou Should Be In Jail’!...diepreye Alamieyeseigha’s Kinsmen Come After Tunde Aye by Hunter2009(op): 9:23pm On Jan 10, 2021
‘You Should Be in Jail’!...Diepreye Alamieyeseigha’s Kinsmen Come After Tunde Ayeni Over Claims that He Gave N29billion Skye Bank Stolen Money to the late Governor

If Lucifer were the avatar for treachery, he would bow in reverence and gasp-inducing awe to the treacherous grit and gusto of a man like Tunde Ayeni, the disgraced chairman of Skye Bank. In a tableau of treacherous men, Ayeni sticks out like a sore thumb.

Those who know him say he never deals with anyone with a clean hand or heart; he is always looking to outsmart and cheat people out of their rights.

One of the biggest beneficiaries of the large-heartedness of the late former Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief D.S.P Alamieyeseigha, Ayeni found favour and fortune in the deceased. At the time, he was a common sight in the Bayelsa Government House and with his pious posturing, he wormed his way into the hearts of every member of the Alamieyeseigha family. He reportedly even used to tell people in his immediate circle that if not for Alamieyeseigha, he won’t be anywhere near prosperity or prominence. Since the former governor’s death in October 2015, Ayeni has forgotten all his promises to his benefactor’s family. Even things that would benefit them which he could do without breaking a sweat, Ayeni has reportedly refused to do them, making those who knew about their relationship to question his loyalty and sense of history.

While the family has decided to leave him to his devices and God, Alamieyeseigha’s kinsmen are now all out to correct the various misrepresentations of the deceased by Ayeni. In a statement released by the kinsmen under the aegis of the Bayelsa Natives in Nigeria and the Diaspora, B.A.N.N.D, the group said they were aghast that despite all that the former governor did to empower Ayeni, he has only repaid him by maliciously lying on his memory and abandoning his family.

“It came to our notice that when the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrested Tunde Ayeni for withdrawing N29billion from Skye Bank, he lied to the agency that he gave the money as a bribe to our brother and illustrious son of the Niger Delta, Chief Diepreye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha. That is callous and gratuitous. At no time, as far as we know, did Chief Alamieyeseigha have that amount of money in any bank whether in Nigeria or abroad. He was a simple man of the people who gave back to the society that made him. He coveted no riches and he led a simple life.

“What Tunde Ayeni did was to just lie on a dead man who cannot defend himself. This is a betrayal of the friendship we are aware that they maintained while the former governor was alive. Ayeni merely played to the gallery and decided to call a dog a bad name in order to hang it. This is not what friendship is about. And we have no doubt that the man (the former governor) must be turning in his grave at this deliberate and disdainful desecration of his memory.”

The group declared that its investigations at the EFCC showed that that after his initial grandstanding, Ayeni sang like a bird to investigators and went on a lying spree against prominent dead Nigerians including Alamieyeseigha. “He lied that he gave N29billion to Alamieyeseigha as a bribe but we found out that it was part of the money that he diverted to buy NITEL and MTEL which he renamed NTEL. He was using NTEL’s assets to offset his indebtedness to the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, in a classic case of robbing Peter to pay Paul,” the statement posited.

The B.A.N.N.D further stated that beyond the egregious lie of Ayeni, they were astounded that since Alamieyeseigha’s death, he has turned his back on his benefactor’s family, which it described as “grave sin against man and God. He was never there for the family even when he could have. We are sure that at the appropriate time, representatives of the family will address their grouse with him.” The group further stated that they were not surprised at Ayeni’s capricious about-face; “It is his stock-in-trade. It is why those he calls his friends are wary of having any business or personal dealing with him because there is no atom of loyalty in his veins.”

While pleading with well-meaning Nigerians to prevail on Ayeni to desist from lying on the memory of Chief Alamieyeseigha who, sadly, is no longer in a position to defend himself, the group called on the federal government to investigate the NTEL transaction.

AutosAvoid Night Trips, they Are Not Only Unsafe, But Utterly Dangerous- Oyeyemi by Hunter2009(op): 5:23pm On Jan 10, 2021
AVOID NIGHT TRIPS,THEY ARE NOT ONLY UNSAFE, BUT UTTERLY DANGEROUS- OYEYEMI

Arising from the dangers, the risks and the rising cases of fatalities occasioned by road traffic crashes recorded at night, the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has advised fleet operators, other commercial drivers and patronisers of night trips, including private vehicle owners to desist henceforth from it, emphasising that night trip which is often characterised by poor visibility, fatigue, sleeping on wheels, excessive speed among others is not only unsafe, but utterly dangerous.

According to Bisi Kazeem, the Corps Public Education Officer, Oyeyemi gave the warning while reacting to some reports of fatal crashes recorded at night at the beginning of the year, which led to the death of several road users and left others with different degrees of injuries.

The Corps Marshal while speaking extensively on why night trips should be avoided, lamented that on January 5, 2021 alone, an avoidable fatal crash occurred in Kabba, Kogi State where 2 vehicles were caught up in a head-on collision as a result of a combination of some factors revealed to be fatigue and sleeping on the steering.

The crash involved the driver of a white Toyota Hiace bus ( MSA 942 XA) that contravened COVID-19 protocols on physical distancing by overloading the bus with 18 passengers instead of the prescribed 8 passengers and a green Iveco trailer ( AKA 788 XC) carrying 07 passengers. Out of the 25 passengers on board the two vehicles, 08 were killed while 17 sustained various injuries.

Similarly, while maintaining that crashes that occur at night are more fatal than the ones that happen in the day time, Oyeyemi also lamented that just on January 9, 2021 2 vehicles; a white Sienna (KUG 538 BJ) and a Sharon bus without a number plate were involved in a fatal crash on Akwanga-Keffi road leaving the entire 17 passengers on board burnt beyond recognition.

Speaking further, the Corps Marshal disclosed that intelligence report reveals that most fleet operators and other vehicle owners, including private vehicle owners who are addicted to night journeys, do so for selfish economic gains, unnecessary overloading of vehicles with both passengers and goods and to avoid arrest and enforcement on physical distancing by FRSC patrol teams.

He warned that in as much as the Corps does not have the statutory powers to ban night trips, it has become very critical and a matter of urgency for patronisers of night trips to retrace their steps and plan their journeys in the day time because often times, when crash occurs away from FRSC rescue points, its difficult to access help from motorists at night.

In the same vein, while listing out the dangers associated with night travels, like poor visibility, fatigue, sleeping on wheels, dangerous driving, overloading, speeding among others, Oyeyemi also warned passengers whose journeys could wait for the next day to resist any temptation that could lead them into patronising fleet operators at night.

The Corps Marshal warned that these deaths are not only avoidable and preventable but totally unacceptable hence the need for all to take caution.

" On our part, the Corps will continue double its efforts by constantly engaging the motoring public nationwide, through aggressive awareness and sensitisation campaign, until the desired result is achieved" he added.
BusinessBreaking: Hon. Ned Nwoko Rubbishes Tunde Ayeni’s Petition To EFCC by Hunter2009(op): 12:24am On Jan 10, 2021
*Breaking: Hon. Ned Nwoko Rubbishes Tunde Ayeni’s Petition to EFCC

• Describes petition as “malicious statement devoid of truth”

Businessman and politician, Prince Ned Nwoko, has rubbished Tunde Ayeni’s claim that he (Nwoko) received the sum of $6,000,000 (Six Million Dollars) from him and Captain Idahosa Okunbo, in a business deal with Ocean Marine Solutions (OMS) Limited, over which he allegedly promised to pay the company the sum of $30,000,000 (Thirty Million Dollars).

In a letter addressed to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, Nwoko put a lie to Ayeni’s claim, stating that at no point in time “have I had any dealings with Ayeni or Ocean Marine Solutions in whatever capacity.”

Ayeni had, through his lawyer, Femi Falana, petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, to investigate Captain Hosa, citing various financial infractions. According to Femi Falana, the EFCC investigation has become necessary in order to facilitate “the recovery of the legitimate shares and earnings which our client (Ayeni) is entitled to.”

In the said petition, Falana stated among others, that Nwoko had approached OMS Limited, requesting it to fund the process for the Paris Club refunds to the Local Governments of Nigeria, and also that he (Nwoko) had charged 20% of the refund as his fee, and that upon success he would pay OMS the sum of $30,000,000 as return for the funding.

Describing Ayeni’s assertion as “a malicious statement devoid of truth”, Nwoko expressly stated he has "never received any sum from Ayeni which he purported in his petition and has never played any role whatsoever as it relates to this transaction."

“All transactions on the subject matter were done directly with Capt. (Dr.) Idahosa Wells Okunbo in his personal capacity to the exclusion of any other party including Ocean Marine Solutions Limited. To suggest otherwise as contained in the said petition is merely a malicious statement devoid of truth.”

Nwoko urged the IGP to yield no credence to the contents of Ayeni’s petition, as he had no clue “as to the nature or extent of my involvement with ALGON,” as he further clarified that that he only met Tunde Ayeni “in connection with ALGONS contract for the supply of Ambulances which were to be funded from the Paris Club refunds (5% of the judgement sum) and this project is still pending for all that I know.”

“I am not aware of any payments in connection with this project,” Nwoko stated.
AutosNIN Becomes Compulsory For Vehicle Registration From 2nd Quarter- Oyeyemi by Hunter2009(op): 6:22pm On Jan 09, 2021
AS NIN IS NOW COMPULSORY FOR FRESH AND DRIVER’S LICENCE RENEWAL, IT BECOMES COMPULSORY FOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION FROM SECOND QUARTER OF 2021 AS PER PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVES- OYEYEMI

In full compliance with the directives of the
Federal Government on the harmonisation of citizens' data; which the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has since commenced with the introduction of compulsory provision of the National Identification Number (NIN) by applicants of the National Driver's License (NDL); the Corps Marshal, FRSC, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has also made provision of NIN mandatory for all categories of Vehicle registration, effective from second quarter of 2021. This is in total compliance with the Presidential directives.

According to the press release signed by Bisi Kazeem, the Corps Public Education Officer , FRSC , all applicants of vehicle registration are therefore expected to present their National Identification Number as a precondition for the registration of their vehicles, adding that there would be no waiver for anyone irrespective of their status in the society.

Explaining the importance of this to the national security architecture, the FRSC spokesperson further emphasised that the exercise has become very imperative seeing the critical role a harmonised database on citizens’ information will have on national development in terms of resolving the challenges of identifying individuals to assist security agencies in data collation and speedy retrievals to address critical national security challenges.

Kazeem stated that the Corps Marshal also beckoned on members of the public who have not enrolled in the ongoing NIN registration at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to make haste while the sun shines as the Corps will not register any vehicle whose owner is not captured in the NIMC database.

According to the Corps Marshal, "Beginning from the second quarter of this year (2021), If you want to register your vehicle, it is going to be compulsory for you to provide your NIN. This is part of the security checks. So once you provide your NIN, it makes the matter easier and helps the government in national planning, critical decision making and also enhance adequate Intelligence gathering for security of lives and properties".

You would recall that FRSC had commenced compliance on this directive since 21 December 2020, when the Corps Marshal mandated that all applicants for the National Driver’s Licence in Nigeria must present the National Identification Number (NIN) from the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) before they can be captured for any class of the licences produced by the FRSC.

Converting Lagos Laws Into Local Languages Now Important - Obasa

- Lagos Speaker says every resident already protected by state laws

- Urges more enlightenments of residents on the laws

The Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has emphasised the need to convert the laws of the state into local languages for the benefit of every residents.

Speaking with officials of the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, in the evening of Thursday, Obasa said every resident in the state was covered and protected by laws that have been passed by the House of Assembly.

The Speaker noted the need to reproduce the laws in native languages so that it would be easier for everyone to understand how he or she benefits from them.

"We have not left anyone behind in the laws we have passed," the Speaker told the officials who were on a courtesy visit to the House.

"We have the child rights law which mandates every child to go to school. It also bans the idea of using children to hawk on the streets.

"The awareness that domestic violence exists in the state made us pass the Domestic Violence Prohibition Act  to protect women, men and children. There is the Administration of Criminal Justice Law.

"All these we are doing to ensure we are on a sound footing at all times and that our state would not look like a jungle," he added.

Obasa, who said the House was ready to collaborate with any well-meaning individual or organisation for the education of Lagos residents in relation to the laws of the state, added: "We make laws in English, but look at the percentage of the educated people compared to the people who are not lettered."

He urged the NHRC to also partner with other non-governmental organisations with interest in marital and domestic issues for the goal of peaceful co-existence among couples.

This, he said, is because violence and the use of force will never be solutions to domestic challenges faced by couples.

He also said the Assembly would look into the issues relating to alleged ill-treatment of Nigerian workers in some factories located in the state.

Speaking earlier, Mr. Lucas Koyejo, State Coordinator of the NHRC, commended the House is Assembly under Obasa for passing laws that protect the rights of cicitizens.

"Lagos State has been at the forefront of ground-breaking and pace-setting laws that other states and even the federal government have followed and this is what we want to continue.

"Domestic violence-prohibition law is one major law for which the NHRC is proud of the Lagos Assembly and is currently being emulated by other states," he said.

Koyejo urged the House to look into issues of casualisation of staff and inhuman treatment allegedly perpetrated by foreign factory owners on their Nigerian employees.

He further said the NHRC would be happy if the House would always invite its officials to public hearings on bills.

Christianity EtcUs Senate Chaplain Quotes Tb Joshua Prophecy In Closing Prayer Of Biden Certific by Hunter2009(op): 10:49am On Jan 08, 2021
US SENATE CHAPLAIN QUOTES TB JOSHUA PROPHECY IN CLOSING PRAYER OF BIDEN CERTIFICATION

Barry C Black, the chaplain of the United States Senate, referenced the prophecy of popular Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua in his closing prayer after the official certification of new US President Joe Biden.

Black, who spoke in the backdrop of the shocking events earlier that day where armed rioters entered the US Capitol Buildings, acknowledged the power of ‘words’.

“These tragedies have reminded us that words matter and that the power of life and death is in the tongue,” Black stated after the divisive rhetoric of President Trump incited the violent ‘attempted coup’ which left 5 dead at America’s seat of power.

“We have been warned that eternal vigilance continues to be freedom’s price,” he added, his words later echoed by Republican Strategist Alice Stewart in an interview on CNN.

“What is happening in the American election is as a result of the power in the tongue,” Joshua had declared in his prophecy on November 1st 2020.

“The word we speak determines the life we enjoy. The tongue can either work for us or against us - death and life lie in the tongue,” he continued.

From the outset of Trump’s divisive presidency, his inflammatory words have caused concern but since losing to Joe Biden, an election he insists was “fraudulent”, his rhetoric has become even more unhinged.

“We will never give up; we will never concede,” Trump said to his fanatical supporters hours before the heinous attack. “We will stop the steal. We’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, and we’re going to the Capitol,” he stated, calling on his supporters to “take back our country”.

“There is likely going to be pockets of resistance here and there but nothing will change,” Joshua also stated in his prophecy, evidenced in Trump’s insistence on refusing to accept the election results despite Biden’s victory being confirmed by the electoral college votes.

“Let me reserve what I am seeing until the inauguration of the new president,” his prophecy parabolically concluded.

After the chilling events at the Capitol, several key members of Trump’s cabinet have resigned in protest while the calls to impeach the President or remove him forcibly via the 25th Amendment continue to grow.

The unfolding events also coincide with the prophetic message Joshua gave at the beginning of Trump’s presidency in November 2016 when he said “the boat of the new President will be rocked” and foresaw “an attempt to possibly pass a vote of no confidence in the future”.

The victory of both Democrats in the Georgia Senate run-off - giving Democrats control of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives - was also referenced in Joshua’s 2020 election prophecy.

Joshua called on Christians who “would have loved it to go the way we wanted” not to worry, insisting “the joy is that the new Supreme Court Judge, Amy Coney Barrett, will be an instrument of check”.

With the Democratic majority secured, the role of the Supreme Court in the implementation of laws some may consider to be anti-Christian takes on far greater significance.

TravelFRSC Records 10,522 Crashes Nationwide In 2020 by Hunter2009(op): 9:58pm On Jan 07, 2021
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), says no fewer than 10, 522 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) were recorded nationwide in 2020 involving 17,614 vehicles.

The Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO) Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Bisi Kazeem, disclosed this in an interview with the Newsmen on Thursday in Abuja.

Kazeem said 4, 794 persons were recorded dead and 28,449 persons got various degrees of injury within the period under review, while 29,808 had minor injuries and survived.

He said there was a decrease in the total number of people killed by road traffic crashes in 2020 when compared to 2019.

He added that In 2019, the Corps recorded 4, 878 deaths as against 4, 794 deaths in 2020 representing a decrease of 84 which was 1.75 per cent decrease.

According to him, the Corps recorded a total of 10,522 road traffic crashes involving 17,614 vehicles in the year 2020, as against 9, 957 involving 16,806 vehicles recorded in the previous year 2019.

“The total number of crashes increased in the year 2020 with a total of 565 crashes, representing 5.37 per cent increase.

“In 2020 alone, out of 63,581 people involved in RTC, a total of 4, 794 were killed, as against 4, 878 in 2019 representing 1.75 per cent decrease.

“28,449 got injured in 2020 against 32,344 in 2019 representing a decrease of 3, 895 or 13.69 per cent.

“While a total of 29,808 survived the crashes with injuries in 2020 against 32,499 in 2019 representing 6745 or 10.67 per cent decrease,” he said.

Kazeem said the major causes of these crashes as observed by the Corps was Speed-related Violations (SPV), which contributed above 62 per cent of the total crashes.

He added that dangerous driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, overloading, break failure, tyre burst, wrongful overtaking and route violation were also probable major causes of crashes.

“Bad road, road construction violation, dangerous overtaking, sleeping on steering, poor weather, use of phone while driving, sign light violation, fatigue among others caused the crashes, ” he added.

Kazeem said the Corps believed that a crash-free society was still possible only if all road users, including pedestrians ensured that all road traffic regulations were complied with accordingly.

He, however, warned that those who violated road traffic laws indiscriminately would definitely be penalised as the operatives were more than ever prepared and deployed to enforce compliance.

PoliticsHow TB Joshua Predicted America, Trump's Present Predicament by Hunter2009(op): 8:54pm On Jan 07, 2021
How TB Joshua predicted America, Trump's present predicament

The call for the removal of the US president , Donald Trump via the invocation of the 25th amendment is a clear fulfillment of the Prophetic message given by prophet TB Joshua twice in 2016 and 2020.

Recall what Prophet TB Joshua prophesied regarding the American election on November 1st 2020:

"What is happening in the American election is as a result of the power in the tongue. The word we speak determines the life we enjoy (Proverbs 6:2). The tongue can either work for us or against us - death and life lie in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21)... There is likely going to be pockets of resistance here and there but nothing will change. Let me reserve what I am seeing until the inauguration of the new president."

On 6th November 2016, Prophet TB Joshua also spoke prophetically about the challenges the US President would face:

“The new President will be facing challenges over many issues – including passing bills and an attempt to possibly pass a vote of no confidence in future. In summary, I can see that the boat of the new President will be rocked.”

And in fulfilment of that prediction, America witnessed a protest they have never witnessed before against the Capitol hill and a call for the impeachment of Trump.

At Lekki , a group of unruly later violent, zobo-socked flag-wielding protesters and anarchists descended visiting violence on public and private property and offering violence to security personnel. Nigerian military was called to restore order .

It was dark. The place was crowded. The protesters buoyed by promise of international fake media support were unyielding to entreaties by security personnel. In a show of high level professionalism, tactical patience and courageous restraint, the soldiers armed with both lethal and non lethal weapons, carefully and methodically applied just the necessary and reasonable minimum force to disperse the arsonists protesters. At the end of this demonstration of the acme of military professionalism, not a single protester was killed, a few maybe bruised , a few broken legs due to stampedes...Dazzol!

The American protesters were not as lucky as their Nigerian counterparts as four people were reportedly shot.

I pause here to ask: Should we not salute the Nigerian military that conducted the Lekki operation for a job well done, for showing the acme of professional skills, tactical patience, courageous restraint in the face of high provocationhuh
If I spoke your mind, please give your salute here to the Nigerian military.

It would be recalled that In an "unprecedented assault" on democracy in America, thousands of angry supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol yesterday and clashed with police, resulting in casualty and multiple injuries and interrupting a constitutional process to affirm Joe Biden's victory in the presidential election.

The police, outnumbered by the maskless protesters, had a tough time in managing the mob, as hundreds of protesters breached security and entered the Capitol building on Wednesday, where members of the Congress were going through the process of counting and certifying the Electoral College votes. Both the House and Senate and the entire Capitol were placed under a lockdown.

Vice President Mike Pence and lawmakers were evacuated to safe locations. One woman who was shot inside the US Capitol has died, CNN reported, quoting a spokesperson with the Metropolitan Police Department. Multiple officers were injured during the mob attack.

Of a truth, with the recent happening in America which is regarded as the reference point for democracy, the Nigerian army should be celebrated and not vilified for preserving our democracy. No sane security agency in a sane government will look on while anarchy descends on the nation.

Shetimma Can’t Dictate To Buhari On Tenure Of Service Chiefs –Odeyemi

Comrade Oladimeji Odeyemi, a security analyst and a counter-terrorism expert is the Convener of the Coalition of Civil Society Groups Against Terrorism in Nigeria. In this interview with TEMIDAYO AKINSUYI, he speaks on the recent editorial of UK-based Financial Times on Nigeria, the efforts of the Nigerian Army in the north to curtail insurgency, banditry, among others. Excerpts:

The Financial Times of London in a recent editorial described Nigeria as a country going plagued with terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping and risks becoming a failed state. The UK-based newspaper also said contrary to the government’s claim, Boko Haram remained an ever-present threat. Did you see the report and what is your reaction?

First, I saw and read the editorial from Financial Times on what they inferred to be the state of Nigeria, and they touched on almost every sector but I will talk about the security aspect.

With all due respect, I think there is a script being acted and some international media agencies have already been conscripted to play it out. Amazingly, they push out the scripts without any recourse to rules of engagement in the media which includes verification of all indices to be addressed to ensure credence of the report. From my little knowledge, I am aware that the editorial of any news medium is the heart of that media organization because that is the position of that newspaper on the topic of consideration. If FT could churn out such editorial as their position on this same Nigeria that we are currently living in, then there is much to be desired.

Beyond that, I think the editorial veered off some of the key happenings in Nigeria and that has been the bane of many foreign medium on the country, lately. The truth is that you can’t rely on resources from the internet to form either a news or editorial reportage. Yes, we still have pockets of security challenges, but the reality on ground is that the level of security in Nigeria has over time, improved especially in the north east and this is due to the pragmatic approach of President Muhammadu Buhari and his service chiefs.

Except we want to lie and deceive ourselves, is the north not better, especially north east than it was before 2015 when Boko Haram had over 14 local governments in its custody? I think Nigerians should ignore the poorly thought-out editorial as well as the groups who are gleefully hailing it. It was a wasted effort.

How are the civil society groups monitoring the progress of the army in the exercise sahel sanity aimed at stabilising the Northwest zone?

Our coalition has been monitoring the exercise and we can see from field reports that the Nigerian Army had been able to stabilise the security situation in the North West since the commencement of Ex Sahel Sanity in July. I think there is need to explain what it entails to Nigerians. The Exercise Sahel Sanity is a realtime military operation inaugurated by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Tukur Buratai in July to decisively deal with the menace of banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling and other criminal activities in Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto States.

The exercise was initially planned to terminate by the end of 2020 but because of likelihood of resurgence an extension has been done to March 2021 to completely knock out bandits from the North West.

I think troops had displayed high level of professionalism, loyalty and commitment in the exercise. The bottom line is that everybody has a responsibility to ensure that the activities of the criminals are checkmated because there must be timely information sharing from the community, the police and the last point is the military.

How can you describe the progress of the war against Boko Haram/ ISWAP in the Northeast?

I think we must first cast a glance at the back and look at where we are coming from as regards the timeline of insurgency in Nigeria; that way we can appreciate the enormous work, which is still in progress, that the Chief of Army Staff and his troops are doing on field

I think a major boost to the war was the relocation of Gen. Buratai to the North-East early April to oversee and coordinate troops of the Nigerian Army in the counter-insurgency war against the Boko Haram and the ISWAP, and it has led to the decimation of the terrorists, their hideouts and collaborators. I want to urge the Federal Government to raise a strong intelligence force within the army, other security agencies and the citizens to finally nail the activities of the insurgents. More than ever, intelligence gathering is crucial at this stage and I know that such collaboration will return peace to those parts of the country.

But if there is any time for Nigerians to be on the same page with regards to the prosecution of the war against terrorism, it is now. If we don’t support our troops, who do you think will support them? With the benefit of hindsight, I think some political tendencies and interests are actually the masquerades behind some of the concocted lies against the military and ongoing military operations in the North-East. I believe they are spinning all those falsehoods to discredit the government of the day and all its achievements including the war against terrorists.

What is your take on the persistent attacks on the nation’s gallant troops and service chiefs by Senator Shettima and Governor Zulum ?

First of all, Senator Shettima dived into treasonable territory with his latest utterances on national security and acted in an unconstitutional and self-serving manner by trying to dictate to the President the tenure of service chiefs whose briefs start and stop at the table of the President and Commander-in-Chief.

In fact, as Nigerians, we have to seriously interrogate the motive of Senator Shettima in his apparent attacks on our Service Chiefs, I’m equally using this medium to call on our security agencies, the Department of State Service, the Directorate of Military Intelligence and others to begin to ask the former governor some questions such as, what is his interest in the national security architecture? Can he appoint new Service Chiefs for the Present? Is he the one that appointed the Service Chiefs? What is his interest in the Service Chiefs? Is he aiming at overthrowing the democratic government, if the Service Chiefs are not removed? I found it appalling that this same Shettima who was shedding tears like a baby when Boko Haram overran his state pre-2015 before this same President Buhari and the current Service Chiefs he is now vilifying came to his rescue by reclaiming the local governments taken by the insurgents and restoring peace in the state.

He has also forgotten too soon or refused to remember the current set of service chiefs ensured that his second term as governor was relatively secured and elections were peacefully conducted to bring in his successor and he also won his election to go the Senate under this current military leadership.

I believe that Shettima was only playing to the gallery to shove up his personality in the North ahead of the 2023 race, though that’s left for our security agencies to determine, otherwise, how and why would he be dictating to President Buhari who he should appoint or work with? I think the basic question to ask is why is Shettima raising his voice at a point like this, soliciting for media appearances when there is a sitting governor in the state? Does this not indicate clear politicking? Can’t he seek an audience with the President or is he trying to be more democratic and more representative than the President who got the highest votes of over 15 million across the Country compared to his votes of just a Senatorial zone of less than 300,000?

On Zulum, I think he should know that a house divided against itself cannot stand. If there is anytime that intense synergy is needed, it is now. He shouldn’t forget where the state is coming from. It will be a big oversight on his part to allow those who are apparently envious of him to misguide him in what they themselves couldn’t do.

Civil Defence, Journalists Important Stakehokders For Nigeria's Progress - Obasa

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has named the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) as well as journalists as major Stakehokders in the development of the country.

Obasa made this position known on Tueaday when the two organisations paid him separate visits.

Speaking when he received the NSCDC officers led by the Commandant in Lagos, Ayeni Paul Kolawole, Obasa said the security agency is as important as the government that established it.

The Speaker urged the security body to remain dedicated in their service to Lagos state and the country.

He also tasked the personnel of the agency to constantly endear themselves to the residents of the state and the country while approaching their duties with human face.

"I urge you to keep looking out for our people, be more friendly to them; this way your job as a security agency will be easier," Obasa said.

Earlier, Commandant Ayeni had pledged the agency's commitment to the peace of the state adding that the Lagos government had been of immense assistance to the security organisation.

He, however, appealed that the body be considered in relation to the laws of Lagos.

Meanwhile, Obasa has described journalism as an integral part of a country's success.

Receiving officials of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) led by its chairman in Lagos, Obasa noted the important roles placed on the shoulders of practitioners.

He, however, urged the body to conduct self-sanitisation so as to help the profession combat fake news and other forms of challenges the professional media practitioners now face at this time of the country's journey.

*SOME FOREIGN MEDIA DEFILE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT TO WEAVE FALSEHOOD ON NIGERIA’S SECURITY---OLADIMEJI ODEYEMI*

Following the recent editorial of The Financial Times of London in which the paper described Nigeria as a country plagued by terrorism, banditry and kidnapping, many Nigerians have unanimously taken exemption to the position of the paper saying it does not, in any way, capture the true state of security in Nigeria.
The UK-based newspaper, among other things, had posited that contrary to Nigeria’s government’s claim, Boko Haram remained an ever present threat and the country risks becoming a failed state.
But, in a swift reaction, Comrade Oladimeji Odeyemi, a Nigerian security analyst and a counter-terrorism expert, punctured the submission of the paper in its entirety, saying the London paper did not only erroneously rely on unverifiable internet figures but its editorial standpoint is fraught with terrible lies.
Odeyemi who spoke in an interview maintained that it is unfortunate that foreign media organizations have made themselves the face of the forces that seek to propagate falsehood on insurgents’ dominance of Nigeria’s security environment.
The Convener of the Coalition of Civil Society Groups Against Terrorism in Nigeria said: “Except we want to lie and deceive ourselves, is the north not better, especially North East than it was before 2015 when Boko Haram had over 14 local governments in its custody? I think Nigerians should ignore the poorly thought-out editorial as well as the groups who are gleefully hailing it. It was a wasted effort.”
He added that “With all due respect, I think there is a script being acted and some international media agencies have already been conscripted to play it out. Amazingly, they push out the scripts without any recourse to rules of engagement in the media which includes verification of all indices to be addressed to ensure credence of the report.

“From my little knowledge, I am aware that the editorial of any news medium is the heart of that media organisation because that is the position of that newspaper on the topic of consideration.

“If Financial Times could churn out such editorial as their position on this same Nigeria that we are currently living in, then there is much to be desired. Beyond that, I think the editorial veered off some of the key happenings in Nigeria and that has been the bane of many foreign media reports on the country, lately.
“The truth is that you can’t rely on resources from the internet to form either a news or editorial reportage.

“Yes, we still have pockets of security challenges, but the reality on ground is that the level of security in Nigeria has over time improved, especially in the North East and this is due to the pragmatic approach of President Muhammadu Buhari and his Service Chiefs.”
Comrade Oladimeji Odeyemi spoke further on the abducted Kankara school boys which generated drama in Katsina state. He said:
“I think we must first of all thank God and commend President Buhari for providing the leadership that led to the rescue of the boys. However, I want to applaud the Nigerian Army over the release of the abducted students.
“The saying that success has many relatives is trite here but we must give honour to whom it is due. The Army showcased a high level of human rights compliance, professionalism and proactiveness in carrying out its responsibility of securing the lives of the abducted schoolboys.

“I really don’t want to get into the politics of the issue but the Nigerian Army was responsible for the release of the boys. The Nigerian Army was able to track the abductors with the boys, they were pinned down and surrounded,” he noted.

The security expert however, called on the international media and demanded an end to their media brutality against Nigeria.
He emphasized that the Nigerian military has accomplished much and investors are gaining maximally from the unprecedented national security achievements.

Car TalkCorps Marshal Expresses Concerns Over Speed Related Crashes, Orders For Increase by Hunter2009(op): 3:36pm On Jan 03, 2021
CORPS MARSHAL EXPRESSES CONCERNS OVER SPEED RELATED CRASHES, ORDERS FOR INCREASED ENFORCEMENT OF SPEED LIMITING DEVICE.

Following a careful review of the first phase of the end of year special patrol being embarked upon by personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and increasing cases of speed related crashes recorded within the period, the Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has expressed deep concerns and directed Commanding Officers to step up enforcement of the law on use of speed limiting device.

This was disclosed by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem in a press release issued in Abuja on Sunday. According to him, while the Corps Marshal expressed satisfaction with the conduct of most drivers and the performance of the personnel in containing the rate and fatalities of road traffic crashes within the period of Christmas celebration, he expressed concerns that the increasing level of speed induced crashes as recorded within the period is undermining the efforts of the Corps to ensure safer road environments, saying every steps must be taken to restore normalcy to the road.

Kazeem further noted that while other causative factors such as route violation, dangerous driving and light sign violations were not completely ruled out in the records of crashes that occurred within the period, the reoccurring nature of speeding as a major factor was a source of deep concern to the Corps Marshal who has ordered for a review of the strategy for a more effective enforcement of the regulations on use of speed limiting device.

While warning the drivers to be cautious of the speed which has become a major causative factor in crash occurrences within the period under review, despite the massive public enlightenment campaigns launched by the Corps to sensitize members of the public on the menace of speed induced crashes, the Corps Marshal described the phenomenon as unacceptable. "We must step up enforcement of the regulations on use of speed limiting device in the second phase of the special operations and first quarter of next year to drastically force down the growing trends of speed induced crashes," he stated.

"Commanding Officers are hereby given special directives on aggressive enforcement of the regulations on the use of speed limiting device to curb the rate of crashes and fatalities that speeding causes, as shown by the records of the first phase of the special operations.

"Consequently, those that are operating without speed limiters or those using faulty as well as those that have reset their own speed limiters to make them ineffective must not be spared to endanger other road users.

It would be recalled that FRSC as part of its annual special end of year patrol has been engaged in this year's special Christmas and new patrol to address the usual cases of traffic holdups, crashes, death and injuries resulting from increased human and vehicular traffic within the festive periods. The massive deployments of personnel and logistics to the major highways and identified black spots across the country is being done at the same time with traffic counts to determine the volume and types of vehicles that are plying the roads within the period for a more efficient future traffic management planning.

The codename for this year's special operations is, "Drive Safe; Stay Safe," which was chosen in view of the threats of COVID-19 pandemic and need for members of the public especially the road travelers to operate in full compliance with road safety rules and regulations and strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 protocols.

5) I was taking in the realm of the spirit and I see our Great country Nigeria that 2023 will be a wonderful year for us .

6) The youths will wax stronger. There is still going to be another kind of protest that will come up and it will take another dimension. It will still be betrayed by the same elements. They will move forward but will not be able to clinch the number one spot because it's not yet time . They will be able to influence every other strategic position and be able to come in on certain percentage m I see 41% . This people looks like army, warriors ,lions with a lionic face and more of them are more of females than males. They will come in,influence the polity but won't be able to clinch the number one spot. It will be recycle by the same old faces.

7) They will still be the one at the number one spot but their powers will be watered down till 2027. It's the time for the youths but they are not fully prepared for what is about to happen.

cool They will make meaningful movements but the number one spot doesn't belong to them yet. I still see old faces recycling the number position.

9) Does it mean Nigeria won't get better? No God is programming Nigeria . There are people preparing for 2023 who won't see 2023 at all..

COVID-19

11) Covid-19 is not over yet. We will continue to see it's wave. We are not through with it yet . It will take another dimension be it real, political or scientifically.

12) Will there be another lockdown, yes we will! However, this year will be better than last year.

13) The economic hardship will increase but those of you who know your God will be strong and do exploits .

14) Top individuals and wealthy people should be prayerful.

15) I see a lot of kidnapping that will be on the increase this year. It will be in different form .

16) Crime rate will increase but the good Lord will keep his own.

17) I see a Governor in Nigeria who needs prayers so that between 2021 and 2023 he should still be there. I don't know whether it's sickness, impeachment or death. But I see that his seat was empty and another person taking over his stool.

AFRICA

18) God showed me that Africa will become a safe haven.

19) I see so many white people, top personality leaving their country, trooping into this continent. And I asked the Lord what does this mean and he said Africa will soon become a safe haven. Yes,it will become a place where they want to stay because it will be free from sicknesses and attacks.

20) God will make Africa a mystery to the world. What will hit the developed world is so much because it's judgement from God . And africa which they have labels religious fanatics will become their safe haven. The reason is that life will become more important than development.

GABON

21) The president of Gabon should pray very well.

22) I see an attack on his Health. He should also pray against Coup in that country. I pray for God and his Excellency.

UGANDA

23) The incubent president of Uganda will retain his stool.

24) There will be provocations, tensions and movements that will revolt against him.

25) The president should watch his back because after this alot will happen.

26) Things might fall apart and the centre too might not hold. He will still be in power but the after effects will be strong.

27) There will be attempt to destroy Africa. I pray our leaders won't be manipulated.

28) I see certain countries like South Africa,Nigeria , Egypt and Ghana that the leaders should be very careful. If you are not conscious of your belly I pray you won't be used against your people .

ZAMBIA

29) Zambia is a Great nation. Am very careful to talk about the country but God spoke to him. It's a Great nation, great people and Greta president. His Excellency means well for the country. He will do his best but the truth is there are a lot if Judases who will betray him.

30) I saw two mighty lions against each other. One has the flag of Zambia round about with Great army around it while the other one doesn't have such a great army . All of a sudden at the battle field, the one with great army was deserted by his soldiers and joined forces with the other lion. Betrayal will be the puzzle of the election . I recommend he should clean his house.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
31) I see a serious shaking at the National Assembly between 2021 and 2023, either at the senate or Josie of Representatives that the centre will not be able to hold.

32) I see some being dragged out and being replaced .

33) God said 2021 is the year for the courageous.

If you are courageous, you will come out with the desired results.

34) There will be things that will attempt to scare propel but if they walk like a lion, irrespective of the storm they will hit their target.

Banditry: Northern Patriots applaud Buratai, Nigerian Army’s Sahel Sanity for commitment to peace in the North-West

The Coalition of Northern Patriots (CNP) has hailed the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. T.Y Buratai for the success of the Nigerian Army’s Operation Sahel Sanity.

In a New Year message signed by its President, Nuruddeen Dodo, on Friday, the coalition said the COAS and his troops’ commitment to restoring peace have drastically reduced crime and criminalities in the North-West.

First launched in July last year in Faskari, Katsina State, Lt. Gen. Buratai vowed that the military exercise would comprehensively tackle banditry, kidnapping and cattle rustling in the region.

In September, the operation was extended to the North-Central region to ensure peace in all parts of the country.

And according to the coalition, the exercise has so far yielded positive fruits, bringing about the much-needed peace and tranquillity in the region by engaging criminal elements in ways too numerous to mention.

After considering the feat recorded, the group expressed confidence that the other regions will soon experience the same.

The CNP, however, called on all well-meaning Nigerians to extend support to the Nigerian Army’s operations in its bid to make Nigeria safe and secure for all.

Read the full statement below:

The Coalition of Northern Patriots wishes to commend Operation Sahel Sanity’s efforts in curtailing the excesses of armed bandits in North West Nigeria that has resulted in a drastic reduction of crime and criminalities in the North West region.

We wish to reiterate that since the launch of Operation Sahel Sanity by the Nigerian Army to combat armed attacks, cattle rustling, kidnapping and other criminal activities in North-West Nigeria, it has been a success story.

This feat was achieved through the troops’ commitment under Operation Sahel Sanity in ensuring that criminal elements operating in the region are neutralized and kept at bay.
We wish to state that in the North West today, incidences of Armed Banditry has been reduced to the barest minimum due to the presence of Operation Sahel Sanity in addressing the security challenges in the region.

The Coalition of Northern Patriots having reviewed the security situation in North-West Nigeria wishes to emphasize that Operation Sahel Sanity has brought the needed peace and tranquillity in the region by engaging criminal elements in ways too numerous to mention.

We are consequently applauding the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai that has been tireless in rendering service to the country despite the avalanche of conspiracies against the peace and progress of the country.

That Operation Sahel Sanity has recorded tremendous success in North West Nigeria indicates the laudable efforts of the Nigerian Army in internal security operations in Nigeria. This much has been the hallmark of the Nigerian Army’s involvement in internal security operations in Nigeria.

Thus, it is our considered opinion that indeed the Nigerian Army under the watch of Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai has contributed immensely to addressing the threats posed by criminal elements across the country.

The Nigerian Army has also stoutly risen in defence of our nascent democracy in the prosecution of the war against insurgency in North-East Nigeria and addressing the threats posed by militants and criminal gangs across the country.

The relative peace and tranquillity experienced in North-West Nigeria indeed buttresses this point and indicates that Nigeria shall overcome its security challenges with the right support.

The Coalition of Northern Patriots states in unequivocal terms that Operation Sahel Sanity is a huge success. It has contributed immensely in reducing the activities of armed bandits in the region.

We also wish to commend other security agencies that have an equally displayed outstanding commitment towards curtailing incidences of Armed Banditry in North-West Nigeria. Our considered opinion is that they are deserving of our commendation and support in the onerous task at hand.
The exigencies of time indeed require all hands to be on deck and support the laudable initiatives of the Nigerian Army in addressing the security challenges in the country. The case of Operation Sahel Sanity is just a tip of the iceberg given the Nigerian Army’s commitment to preserving and protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity.

The Coalition of Northern Patriots herby sends a clarion call to all well-meaning Nigerians to extend support to the Nigerian Army’s operations in its bid to make Nigeria safe and secure for all.

The Operation Sahel Sanity example in North West Nigeria should indeed give insights into the fact that with the right motivation, the country’s security challenges can be addressed.

“You should go into the year with full conviction that we can do better to address the insecurity in our country,” he said.
Buratai also promised that officers and men of Nigerian army would enjoy a lot welfare packages in 2021.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his support and confidence in the Nigerian army during the preceding years.

Maureen, Funmi Cole, Lied From Hell By Agatha Okonkwo

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? I love this scripture and I will always refer it to people who have no business in contributing anything meaningful to people’s lives and only mean bad news.

Maureen is obviously not someone to listen to. She has been rocking the boats of people with skeletons in their tanks maybe, or black mailing people who do not know what their destiny is about and that gave you the effrontery to touch the anointed of GOD.

Maureen, this time you touched the apple of God's eye. Dr. D.k Olukoya and MFM are not names you mention for evil and get away with. I have also done so many investigations on your matters and none have I seen with such fabrications and lies.

Maureen, the woman you invited to your show to speak about Ireland branch and rubbish about MFM DEALINGS and so on, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE LADY? Just because you want cheap publicity and powered by dark motives to pull down a weight that is A BILLION TIMES heavier than you, YOU COULDN’T TAKE OUT A LITTLE TIME TO INVESTIGATE THE people you feature IN YOUR SHOW. I am not surprised, I almost forgot you are not a TRUE journalist; you are just a cheap blogger who cannot even hold a complete English sentence.

For your information one million Maureen GIO TV can not put a scratch on Dr DK Olukoya's personality and MFM's image. As far as God is alive, you will always be out to shame .

I launched a small investigation on the lady you brought on board to reveal the truth. Your level of illiteracy stinks to the ocean.

The so-called sister Funmi Cole, as she is known and addressed , is not in any way a leader of any group or has any position whatsoever at the mountain of fire and miracles ministries in Ireland as she has claimed. She is a member of the ministry no doubt and a volunteer worker because of how the church has lifted and supported her and her family from nothing to something over the years. Neither is her husband a pastor in any branch or have been ordained or gone through MFM schools and graduated to become a pastor. if they have, they can come out to tell us who ordained them or the MFM school they attended.

My investigation from my people here in America shows that Funmi Cole was only a member of the church and her hubby an administrator for some period of time before they left the ministry. She is perpetually known for her questionable, rude and negative seed sowing character, her strange and fierce approach to issues, and quarrelsome personality. We were told that she is always at the verge of fighting at every point in time. There is no one person that she has not fought with including her own husband

We gathered that at a time she had a brawl with one of the choir leaders in the pastor’s office and they were asked to come for a settlement. Instead, they abused each other both physically and verbally and as such, they were disciplined by the disciplinary committee of the church and were practically suspended.

Now, instead of her to conform to the measures put in place to correct her ways, she decided to leave the church, and to an extent her leaving the ministry brought certain peace to members, workers and ministers.

We found out through our investigations here that when they first came to Ireland, it was MFM ministries that took them from the hostel that they were leaving and provided for them, the woman gave testimony that she has had 9 miscarriages before coming to MFM while looking for the fruit of the womb and it was this same ministry through the prayers of Dr Olukoya that brought them joy of parenthood and all the comfort that they have today.

The son that she spoke about was sponsored by the church to a musical school to learn how to play instruments because its sheer practice of the church to develop and groom talents from very tender age, and because she was suspended she stopped the child from coming to CHURCH, we learnt that this woman is known as a pathological liar. And one who’s never at peace with people

Maureen, let me tell you, if you hit your head against a rock, don’t expect the rock to break, you should be thinking of how to survive. You have gone too far with your lies and fabrications. The Modele Soyinka that you tried to use against herself and her family thinking that you were trying to do Dr Olukoya and MFM harm has realized her mistakes in joining hands with you

Her family has written an open letter of Apology and rebuttal against your madness, find it attached below before I leave you to your lies today. I have this verse from the scriptures for you. “He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved”. As a woman like you I will advise that you think about this when you think of cooking your evil plans against D.k Olukoya and MFM. We know true men of God and we will not stop to bring out the truth. ONCE AGAIN I PITY THOSE WHO LISTEN AND GIVE DONATIONS TO THIS SYCOPHANT CALLED MAUREEN. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON A SWINDLER AND A FRAUD

Rebuttal & Apology

Letter

Dr. D.K. Olukoya & The Mountain of Fire & Miracles

Ministries (MFM)

ISSUED BY

The late Rev. Josiah Olubode Soyinka’s Family

REPRESENTATIVES

Mrs. Adenike Deborah O. Soyinka (wife & mother)

Mr. Daniel H. Oludayo Soyinka (son)

Mrs. Blooming Umoren (Nee Soyinka) (daughter

Introduction & Background

The purpose of this letter is to rebut and apologize to Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya and the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries about the recent allegations that surfaced over the internet jointly by Omodele Esther Soyinka Amoo and Maureen Badejo. In these online publications, both Omodele Soyinka and Maureen Badejo raised the accusations below:

1. Dr. D.K. Olukoya caused our father’s death or killed our father - Rev. J.O. Soyinka

2. Dr. Olukoya owns or planning to own the property at #1 Emily Akinola Street, Akoka, Yaba Lagos

The Rebuttal

We, the family of the late Rev. Josiah Olubode Soyinka - specifically Mrs. Adenike Deborah Soyinka, Mr. Daniel H. Oludayo Soyinka and Mrs. Blooming Umoren (Nee Soyinka) rebut these allegations as follows:

1. First and foremost, Rev. J.O. Soyinka died of a natural cause at the age of 69 on September 4, 1999. Dr. D. K. Olukoya neither caused the death of our father nor killed our father - Rev. J.O. Soyinka.

Our father was a faithful servant in the vineyard of God and even his last sermon on August 22, 1999 titled - A Broken & A Contrite Heart at the Apostolic Faith Church, right at the close of the Camp meeting provides a glimpse into the state of his mind. In his words,

“ The Mission is Accomplished. I can now say now lettest thy servant depart in peace for mine eyes hath

seen Thy salvation which you have prepared for all people to the glory of Israel your people.”

He knew he was ready to meet with his Master, Our Lord Jesus Christ and waved

Everyone goodbye with the farewell song - Away, Far over Jordan, we’ll meet in that beautiful land.

2. Secondly, our father was faithful in God’s vineyard to his final moments and it’s ludicrous to think or say that Dr. D.K Olukoya had a hand in his death. Dr. D.K. Olukoya caused or killed Rev. J.O. Soyinka. Let it be known that Dr. D.K. Olukoya did not cause the death of our father nor kill him.

3. Thirdly, Dr. D.K. Olukoya does not own or intend to own the property at #1 Emily Akinola Street, Akoka, and Yaba Lagos. This is the property of our father -late Rev. J. O. Soyinka and our mother, Mrs. Adenike Deborah Olufolahan Soyinka, both gathered resources together and built. The property is owned by Mrs. Adenike Deborah Olufolahan Soyinka, the only wife of the late Rev. Josiah Olubode Soyinka. The property has never been sold or nor intended to be sold to Dr. D.K. Olukoya or the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries (MFM).

4. The property is rented to the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries (MFM) and since occupancy is maintained by the same, MFM makes rent payments to Mrs. Adenike Deborah O. Soyinka when due. There’s no interest whatsoever to sell the property to Dr. D.K. Olukoya or to the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries.

3 The Apology

Dear Father,

With a bleeding, but grateful heart to God, we, Mrs. Adenike Deborah Soyinka, Mr. Daniel H. Oludayo Soyinka and Mrs. Blooming Umoren (Nee Soyinka) , write to you at this time. We really, really and indeed really appreciate and thank God Almighty for you, your life, ministry and immeasurable acts of love. Words cannot truly capture or quantify your impact in our lives and family, especially your countless efforts of life-saving effects, material provisions and most-importantly ... spiritual guidance. Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, God bless you real good Daddy. We write with regards to the mind-boggling and grossly demeaning online posts made by 'Omodele Soyinka Amoo'. We are using the letter to apologize to your Sir and the entire Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries. We regret and deeply sorry for the defamations, insults, and blatant lies she published. Kindly accept our most-sincere apology Sir. Honestly, Dear Father, we are not surprised, shocked nor disappointed at such a thing from her to you or even anyone in particular, as we know her too well to be capable, efficient and fully empowered for such an open show of herself in 'muddy waters'.

4 We don't intend to bore or bother you with many words, but to say the very least: we’re hugely rued at the content and context of all she posted and we are deeply sorry Sir. We hereby state and affirm that:

1. We are personally grossly disappointed at ourselves for being a blood relation of such a bloody person; in any case, we’re grateful to God for the gift of life.

2. In no way, part or form are we affiliated in kinship support, studded provision of ideas or any kind of information about what Omodele Soyinka posted online, offline or otherwise.

3. No part of our being is in consonance, agreement or alignment with any of what she stated or posted against you - Dr. D.K. Olukoya, the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries, our mother, Mrs. Adenike Deborah Olufolahan Soyinka, or any other individual.

4. Sincerely, we are not a party in whatsoever capacity, figure, representation or touch to whatever she talked about and indeed: all she posted and whatever she would still do or post, with regards to this matter or whatsoever matter now or/and in future.

5. We are grateful to God for you and the impact you’ve had on the Soyinka family right from the first time we came in contact with you. Adherence to the principles and precepts of your teachings of the Word of God, Prayer Battles and Discipline are the capital reasons why we are still alive! Your teachings, guidance, provisions, love and fatherly care has provided us with a solid foundation to build our lives on. We are who we are today because of your countless investments into our lives and families. Words fail us, as these few pages cannot truly capture all you’ve done and continue to do for our family.

6. Please Dear Daddy, we know that these posts are a huge setback, but we want to humbly encourage you, to see it as an action synonymous to Jesus' Crucifixion. God is set to use her ill actions to add more value, relevance and importance to You and the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries ... just as the devil was used to fulfill the glorification of Jesus Christ.

7. You have our 100% support in and/for whatever you need us to do, in pursuit of The Truth. With these statements and submission of ours, we apologize to you Sir as a family and we regret all the inconveniences and character defamations caused. We are deeply sorry Sir.

We once again say that we are grateful to God for your presence in our lives and we do not take your impact in our lives for granted. The Almighty God will continually bless you, Dr. D. K. Olukoya. You will continue to go from glory to glory. The impact of your ministry is known worldwide and you’re a major threat to the kingdom of darkness. So whatever tactic or avenue used, we know that we are more than conquerors

Dear Daddy, we are reminded always of your formidable strides in the Spirit and your legacy of purity, holiness and integrity; based on these, we are humbled to note to you again and again that you’re one of God’s Generals for the end time and we are not ignorant of the devices of the enemies. We love you so much and will always do.

Again, on behalf of the family of the late Rev. Josiah Olubode Soyinka, specifically, Mrs. Adenike Deborah Soyinka, Mr. Daniel H. Oludayo Soyinka and Mrs. Blooming Umoren (Nee Soyinka) , we rebut and deeply apologize for these false allegations and accusations by Omodele Soyinka Amoo. Kindly forgive us and our family.

Warm Regards,

Mrs. Adenike Deborah Soyinka (wife & mother)

Mr. Daniel H. Oludayo Soyinka (son)

Mrs. Blooming Umoren (Nee Soyinka) (daughter)

Why Fighting Davido Doesn't Make Burna Boy A Bigger Artiste By Femi Oyewale

Of a truth, the alleged fight between Davido and Burna Boy in far away Ghana is uncalled for and should be labelled national disgrace. The reason is not unconnected to the fact that they are both ambassadors of this great country known as Nigeria, also coupled with the fact that Ghanaians see Nigerians as ill mannered and corrupt citizens.

Interestingly, the fight between the two entertainment gladiators is an embarrassment to the entertainment industry. Truth be told, based on the eyewitness reports on social media, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy has no moral right to attack David Adedeji Adeleke widely known as Davido.

A school of thought believed that envy, jealousy could be responsible for the beef between them. If that's the case, I strongly recommend that Burna boy's management should tell him the truth that just like heaven is far from the earth, Davido, by all standards is more successful and popular than him. Thus, no reason for alleged beef between them.

A quick check on the top 10 list of richest entertainers in 2020 placed davido's worth about $40m and Burna Boy around $17. Arguably, Wizkid and Davido rank in the top two. https://www.the360report.com/who-is-the-richest-between-davido-burna-boy-and-wizkid/
https://clacified.com/entertainment/16/top-ten-richest-musicians-in-nigeria-2020

Aside that, in terms of popularity, Davido has more followers than Burna Boy. On IG alone, Davido has over 18.7m followers while Burna Boy clinches 5.9m collowers. That means Davido's believers in his ministry tripled Burna Boy's own.

The beef allegedly began in the autumn of 2019, when Burna Boy was nominated for a Grammy award for Best World Music Album for ‘African Giant’. Glimpses of a fued were not evident yet since Davido congratulated his friend for his nomination.

Fast forward to after the Grammy’s, where Burna Boy lost out to Beninese singer Angelique Kidjo, and he became quiet on social media for a while.

His return to the online world was marked by his now-deleted reply to a Twitter user claiming that Burna Boy had his success handed to him.

In summary, Burna Boy hit back at the hater saying that no one paved the way for him and subtly fired shots at his peers that no one in his industry cared. Many Twitter users agreed saying that he is a trailblazer in his own right and there was no clarification on who Burna Boy was directing his tweets at specifically.

Three months later, Davido announces the release of his new album at the start of May, A Better Time, which was set to arrive in July 2020. The first glimpse of beef happened when Burna Boy posted a black screen with the message, “JULY will be very funny, and I shall laugh accordingly” on social media, suggesting to his fans that he will be ridiculing Davido’s new album.

After the post, Davido tweeted an edited photo of him and fellow Nigerian singer Wizkid, captioned “The 2 greatest of all time! No cap

In response, Burna Boy questioned Davido’s success by claiming that he owes his achievements to his billionaire father. The message still did not mention Davido by name: “you cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team. But your daddy bought the football team”.

Fans believed that Burna Boy’s song ‘Way Too Big’ from his August 2020 album ‘Twice as Tall’ was directed at Davido with the lyrics, “I’m way too big to be f***ing with you”. Diss tracks and subtle messages are common in the music world when there is beef , such as the feud between Stormzy and Wiley.

In his track ‘FEM’ which is Yoruba slang for ‘shut up’, Davido addresses Burna Boy directly in the line, “Tell Odogwu says we like to party just call me…” – ‘Odogwu’ and ‘Like to Party’ are both names of a Burna Boy song.

Since then, there has not been much from either musicians but the latest video showing the two apparently shouting at each other while leaving the club has sparked news that they are still on bad terms.

Congrats @burnaboy … … you deserve more then a NOM ..

AutosCorps Marshal Expresses Concerns Over Speed Related Crashes, Orders For Increase by Hunter2009(op): 1:02pm On Dec 27, 2020

In life, if you allow the devil to use you, the devil will also be the one to suggest your destruction. You can read about Judas Iscariot to find out how the devil operates.

After hearing about the story of Omodele Soyinka, who alleged that Dr D.k Olukoya caused the death of her father and confiscated their property, as Peddled by Maureen, I decided to lunch my usual investigation TO FIND THE TRUTH.

The good of a man will not kill him, and the good deeds of a true man of God cannot be hidden. Maureen and her cohorts will be put in a well-designed part of hell if they don’t repent from this callous voyage that they have decided to embark upon,

Maureen Badejo is a manipulator and a fraudster preying on people’s weaknesses and emotions, and once again I pity those who give ears to her nonsense Ramblings. Moreover, if you listen carefully to those that call into her show to speak on most matters, you will realize deep down that they have personality problems. From our finding we garnered a few personality traits about Omodele Soyinka, and the family members can testify to our findings about her.

Omodele had always been the black sheep of the family, but for her to go this far because of her selfish interest is still a thing of worry, she’s known to be troubled no doubt, she is highly temperamental and always on the left of every positive decision that the family embark upon. Shes exhibited questionable behaviors on the promiscuous side, she was actually given a flat in the building to live but she put it on rent for some reason , and her mum has been paying her house rent and child’s school fees ever since , she has stressed her parents sorely. She exhibits fierce anger and she is very reckless with serious matters of life. She moved out of her husband’s house and could not hold any job. It’s obvious that she may be psychologically unstable.

Back to the day’s matter. Just like I said, I will not sleep until the children of God hears the truth about all that MAUREEN IS TRULY ABOUT,

IN SOME EARLIER PUBLICATIONS, I once said that THIS WOMAN IS ON A DARK MISSION, but we all know that DARKNESS CAN ONLY TRY, BUT AT THE END FAILURE IS ITS DESTINATION.

At about 7:23 pm Nigerian time on Wednesday 23rd 2020, I put a call through to Mrs. Soyinka the mother of the Omodele Soyinka that has connived with Maureen to fabricate these allegations , and what I heard from her moved me to tears.

For Maureen to PUT UP SUCH FALSE ALLEGATIONS, without investigating or confirming the matter, then she must indeed be powered by the dark wind of the last days, and this made me wonder in my quiet moments, WHAT EXACTLY DOES MAUREEN WANT FROM MFM OR DR DK OLUKOYA?, WHY IS SHE FABRICATING FALSE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE MAN OF GOD, and AGAINST A MAN WHOSE HUMANITARIAN AND PHILANTROPIST NATURE HAS TRANSFORMED LIVES AND STILL TRANSFORMING, OLUKOYA'S RECORDS OF GIVING AND BLESSING MEN IS UNRIVALED.

Below is our conversation text in summary and a short voice note for evidence

Femi Oyewale - I called you earlier ma

Mrs Soyinka- Yes I didn't respond because my daughter told me to keep my mouth shot to anyone but but I am ready to speak to you.

Q-I actually called to verify the stories being peddled about by one MAUREEN BADEJO on the social media alongside your daughter Omodele

Resp- I am ready to clarify all and shed true light on the matter.

Q- Is it true that Dr Olukoya or MFM was responsible for the death of your late husband?

R- No not at all. He was not responsible for his demise at all.

Q- They also alleged that he took over your property and chases out the children?

R- Haba! That's a big lie.

Q- What about the Issue of the property in question?

Res: - concerning the so called property. Before my husband's death, there were tenants in that house. After burial, one of my late husband's brothers had a meeting with them and implored them to renew the tenancy agreement with me since the house now belongs to me. Sadly, someone else convinced them to do otherwise and they rebelled against me. They refused to pack out after I told them to do so. I took them to court and they were all ordered to vacate. Dr Olukoya is not in the picture of that incident at all. He knows nothing about the saga AS A MATTER OF FACT EVERYBODY IN THAT BUILDING IS A TENANT.

Q- They said Dr Olukoya's attitude towards your husband and coupled with the fact that he refused to reconcile you with him led to his untimely death?

R- That's not true at all. He has nothing to do with that. Hmmm let me tell you a part of the story if you have the time, because this happened about 20 years ago

Q- Okay please tell us what happened?

R- In 1997, I came across MFM through a sister who was a teacher at Maryland comprehensive secondary school. I was staying at Shonibare estate; we used to have an hour prayer meeting together. I noticed that each time we meet to pray together our prayers are always answered, and I marvel.

One day, I asked her what's her position in her church and amazingly she said she was just a member of MFM, and I asked if I could see the GO of her church that is DR OLUKOYA, and she said it's not possible because she doesn't have access to him too. She said in MFM I don't need to have a personal encounter with Dr Olukoya before I get answer to my prayers.

Later, someone told me she could introduce me to Dr Olukoya that I should just write a letter. After a while, i got an appointment and went. But on getting there a pastor attended to me and said we should pray together. During the prayer session he prophetically mentioned all the issues I was battling with, and that strengthened my faith in prayers.

Thus, I started going for an hour prayer session and there was massive transformation in my life and prayer life. I then introduced the prayer pattern to my husband and he agreed. We started praying together and we could see the huge impact in our life and ministry.

When the prayer started, members were rejoicing. The funny thing is that immediately we started the MFM pattern of prayers, the incessant death of Youths in the church stopped, THAT’S HOW I STARTED ATTENDING MFM WEEKLY.

AFTER SOME TIME I told my husband we should move to our own house at Akoka. He agreed. One day , he informed me that he wants to go to the North to rest for two weeks. So he travelled, within the period of the trip I got a call that MY HUSBAND HAD DIED. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I called the brother I knew over there and that one said he didn't stay with him rather, the Guest house they got for him. Things became difficult for us this period

For over five years I STRUGGLED TO REGAIN OWNERSHIP OF THE HOUSE. And through the intervention of Dr Olukoya, I won the battle. after his death, IT WAS DR OLUKOYA WHO TOOK OVER OUR WELFARE since then AND EVEN SINGLE HANDEDLY TOOK OVER THE EDUCATION OF ALL MY KIDS INCLUDING THIS SAME OMODELE WHO THE DEVIL IS USING TO SAY RUBBISH. (She burst into tears.) I know they are working to ensure that Dr Olukoya stopped supporting us and that's why they are fabricating all these lies against him and his ministry through my daughter.

Take out time to listen to the voice note attached after that, evaluate the person of MAUREEN BADEJO.

To my amazement, Dr Olukoya didn’t even have a relationship with the husband and father of this family and has no connection with the property in question.

Maureen Badejo there is still some little time left, REPENT and apologize
