Nigeman: Bros,
I may not agree with you.
We need to decongest Lagos and allow other areas (suburbs) of Lagos to grow economically and socially. It will force down the price of shops and houses in Ikeja area and allow place like Iyana-Ipaja, Abule-Egba to Sango-Otta to tap from the economic advantages of urbanisation. Abmode has prepared these areas for this challenge and make Lagos dream of Mega city a reality with the construction of over 700 access roads within Lagos metropolis. See most people just scream on nairaland without using their brains but you sir, are spot on There's a reason why that over head bridge was constructed and my, it's massive and will allow for ease of transportation. Went to Super area about 4 weeks ago and the bridge is 80 percent complete. Moving CV to that area will ease up hold up for people who live and work in Ikeja, allow for construction of something better there while also forcing down the price of shops and Co. It's just common sense.. Situating it at super also will allow people from abeokuta come to the new CV to buy phones and stuff too cos it's close and the roads are better now.. Very nice development |

DaySpringer: Hahaha very funny
In both Games the total Aggregate was 7 - 3 A whooping 4 goal difference. I mean Rostov Collected 5 un-replied Goals in Bayern's Home. That's the Quality of Bayern, And now rostov is in Europa and Bayern Beat Arsenal with 10 - 2 Aggregate
meanwhile we struggled to give the same Rostov in our home and Drew in theirs. Aggregate being 2 - 1
Everyone knew that Manchester United couldn't beat them with more then 2 goals difference.
You think we can go to the home stadium's of Genk Celta Vigo Anderlect Ajax and Lyon and try Nonsense?
Mourinho Eye go soon clear.
I mean we are struggling to Move from 6th position on the Premier league because we can't win against lesser teams when it counts. Na im we wan go play Mad men for Europa You and I both know if we were a bit more clinical, we would have won by at least 4 goals..but that is for another day |

Donkunxex: lyon or ajax will do justice to our slow game play but only in their respective home fronts As them bring am, we sef go give them. If they play attacking football, we Wil play same, provided we have Mhikitryan, Herrera and Martial On the pitch |

If We can barely Beat Rostov At home. What Chance do we stand against Anderlect Genk Celta Vigo Ajax The same rostov that beat Bayern? Lol You must not watch a lot of football |

hustla: Hello House, I need some kind of help and advice. I applied to Lambton in December, uploaded all my documents and was waiting for admission until I got an email from them asking me to write IELTS or apply thorough MAPLE education and avoid writing IELTS. The course I applied for was not inline with my BSc; Mass Communication but I wanted to switch careers to Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics. I had earlier attended IT trainings in India for a year and had 1 certification in CCNA with a view to writing CCNA Security, Comptia Certs and CEH later and I am certain I would do well in the Information Security field
I called Maple education and was referred to the Lambton representative who told me I needed to change the course I applied for to Mass Communication and as Lambton did not have that, I have to switch colleges.
Bearing in mind that people on Nairaland that I had the chance to talk to offline, two in actual fact did not even write IELTS, I wrote to them telling them I studied all through my primary, secondary and tertiary education in English but I keep on getting the same generic reply telling me to write and upload IELTS results. I even got my university to send them a proof of English proficiency, uploaded all my transcripts and forwarded emails from Nigerian students who got admission without writing IELTS all to no avail.
I am confused as to what to do. Should I write IELTS in a rush (the earliest date for the exam is next month and I am not even sure when the results will be out,if it wont be too late for application) or wait till January intake and apply with the IELTS? Or should I keep pestering them?
I have uploaded a screenshot of the email I keep getting cc IHate9ja1

IHate9ja1: Hello house, Please here is a note of caution to prospective lambton college students, I would strongly advice that henceforth, applicants should apply via Maple education by paying 50k or apply directly if you are able to provide an English test result. Got admitted into lambton college after lots of mails, persistence and arguments, got refusals from western university and conestoga college. @ hustla.... God will come through for you. Amen Bro Thanks Already uploaded everything here |

Business › Re: CBN Sells $230 Million To 16 Banks, Boosts Financial Market by hustla(m): 12:34pm On Feb 27, 2017 |
obailala: When the CBN takes forex from the reserves and injects it into the system, that reduces the amount in the reserves. However the amount in the reserves is balanced by forex inflow into the country, of which over 90% is from oil sale.
Throughout 2016, oil averagely sold for less than $50 with the value dropping to even $28 earlier in the year; Nigeria's oil export was also reduced to about half of the typical volume. With this severely reduced forex inflow into the reserves, as long as the CBN continues to disburse forex into the market (to maintain Naira value), the amount in the reserves will keep going down and that is what happened throughout 2016 till the reserves dropped to about $23bn.
I think the explanation above is pretty much simple and elementary, but I'm sure some persons may prefer an alternative 'sweeter' explanation such as "Buhari stole all the forex in the reserves." You haven't said anything even with your efforts to bamboozle yourself with seemingly complex sentence structures I'm not a supporter or any party or faction, but if we have to depend on dollar and forex from oil, Nigeria will never be great. If we have to depend on forex from oil to inject into the economy, the present situation will only be for some time. What happens if Iran decides to damn the consequences and increase oil sales? We will start to cry and run up and down? |

Business › Re: CBN Sells $230 Million To 16 Banks, Boosts Financial Market by hustla(m): 12:06pm On Feb 27, 2017 |
obailala: On the appreciation of the Naira since last week, the logic is very simple; CBN resumed injecting forex into the system and the effect is what you see currently on the Naira.
About 3-4 months ago, our reserves dropped to dangerously low levels ($23 billion) so the CBN massively slashed the amount of forex it normally injected into the system with the aim to build up the reserves. Of course the reduced injection caused scarcity and put pressure on the Naira (N520). But now, with the reserves built up to $29billion (as announced 2 weeks ago), the CBN has just resumed its weekly injection of forex into the system through banks and this has eased the pressure on the Naira.
There's nothing spectacular about this phenomenon and it has little or nothing to do with buhari or osinbajo. The depletion of the reserves had to do with who then? Didn't some people loot the reserves dry? |
