Gbam!!
They want to disguise like we don't know they won't grant access to public funds

They're just losing skilled workers to the hands of care work with the sponsorship thing. Those who are tired will pack up and goto another country

Page 1,000 is almost here

Was doing some work research and found this in the Hansard - a very interesting debate in the House of Commons on the subject of No Recourse to Public funds. Incidentally, it also touches on the subject of people using appeals to try to extend their stays - 'dribbling the system', as one MP put it.

Looks like there were plans (or at least ideas) to loosen the rules under BJ.

https://hansard.parliament.uk/Commons/2023-05-11/debates/DC92333D-0732-466B-AF3A-911EFFE92D29/NoRecourseToPublicFunds
We don't want their public funds

They should reduce their LR time, time spent on a student visa should also count towards needed 5 yrs to ILR and they should also just make graduates able to remain without sponsorship

Sweetheart. I’m not a HR. I’m a tech sis but at my level, I recruit for the IT dept. Who between you and me should give you stats on sponsorship, especially in IT?

There’s one SM role in JLRover with sponsorship for up to 17 care roles with sponsorship..
OK

Ehhhh na wa ooooh. Then struggling to get sponsorship job is better than seeking a permanent role then
best to not limit yourself to sponsorship jobs only as UK experience counts 0 while waiting

You can get into a coy, prove yourself valuable and then they can sponsor wink

The jobs with these firms refusing to give sponsorship are they not a permanent rolehuh

If one is able to get a permanent job role do they still need a sponsorshiphuh

My recent annoyance (ignoring the cost of living) is that it seems PSV is a scam. Most companies aren’t a recruiting graduates on PSV simply cos they may need sponsorship eventually.. but how come care homes are giving sponsorship like pure water??
LOL, Not true especially for IT folks. One girl in my class got an IT Audit job with NHS before she even finished her 1st semester in the UK and they even allowed her to do 20 hrs with them

My friend called me today and told me he got a job with Jaguar & Land Rover this week, fully sponsored, Scrummaster role wink

Down to luck and skills sometimes sha

Not true. It'll only impact your credit score negatively. I don collect natwest and first direct and I'm waiting for RBS to pay me next week but I've lost about 40 points on my scredit score so far and I'm sure I'll still loose about 20 more but no shaking because I know it'll bounce back

I wouldn’t switch Starling if I were you. It’s one of the best challenger bank accounts to have. I find their debit card very useful for holiday travel and for online shopping abroad. No fees nor commission charged on withdrawals/foreign transactions and you get a guaranteed Mastercard exchange rate at time of transaction.
Issue is I've never used it.. And it's the only account that's a bit not useful for me.

I kind of like the natwest I switched to so I'll be keeping it.. Or maybe I can switch Chase 🤔

Greediness.

Premier league is over valued and foreign ownership made things even worse, Manchester city, Man-united, Chelsea etc All paid stupid money for average players at their best. Premier league itself selling right to broadcast to Sky, BT Sport and Amazon for around £4.8 billion.

Imagine paying £2000 plus a session to watch a club like Spurs that has never won even a wooden spoon

They can't win the war against illegal streaming as people seek for cheaper options
grin cheesy

Spurs even collect for this matter

People will always find alternative means to stream, that's for sure

The biggest prob is the cost of watching premier league matches in the UK, outside the UK you can watch these games for less than £5.

When i was living in Zimbabwe we watch these matches almost for free, we pay less than 10 dollars monthly for subscription and that includes all sports.
Star Sports Kaabadi in India, we used to pay the equivalent of 10K naira for Internet + All the sports channels. They show PL, Ligue 1, Eredivisie and I think Serie A

Wonder why the UK is different for some weird reason

It's a not a manager thing. It's a player thing. So many of those low-minded players need to be sold. If not, they risk influencing any new player that Man Utd buys with their terrible mentality.
May God bless you for the analysis, I have been saying the same thing since.

This has been our problem for many many years now. Useless bad eggs influence the other players

Players like bissaka, shaw, martial, Jones lindelof, fred sancho, de gea and I daresay rashford should have been sold since but the issue is the board wont splash cash like city. Pep bought and sold an entire XI and still axed Jesus and Zinchenko and Rodri so everyone knows that if theyhave issues or don't perform, they will be sold like 5 naira biscuit

Same isnt the case as man utd as we are eeither penny pinching or scared to sell players for some reason

I just hope the coach understands before its too late

Are you aware there are conditions to be met , you don't just switch account and get the free £200 . Afterwards your new account will be charged monthly.
For first direct?

Can't I close the account after getting £175
