is it applicable in canadian universities as it is in the UK to top up degrees because most of the university sites i have visited so far do not really state literaly about "top up degrees"..

Top up is peculiar to Uk ...what you can get in canny is colleges; I guess you are asking this because you probably have below a 2.1. I am also an Accountant, and you could get courses in accounting(taxation and finance) or msc in biz admin with concentration in accounting,if you want univerisities that are cheap for this course be prepared for GMAT; if you don't want GMAT then check colleges out and find a related course like financial planning,Int'l biz mgt,Global biz mgt etc. Start with this link for colleges in ontario http://www.ontario.ca/education-and-training/ontario-colleges. From observation, the main challenge faced by those that used the online route is payment...why we are still having this conversation is because most of the people that used this route didn't come back to give feedback on how they were able to sail through...its high time we implored ourselves to always come back here to give feedbacks after we must have been directed on how to go about it, so as to eliminate repetition and to have it record for future references. Online Routers please come out from hiding to explain because lots of people are currently having this delay their application.

eminado: So happy I stumbled on this thread, I'm also inthe same shoes as I got a scholarship for Msc in a Uk school. I am also to pass out in October this year but my school"s latest start date is 23rd Sept, and if I'm not there I'll have to forfiet the scholarship. So please give me the legit advice because I don't want to use someone and end up in more problems cos of my Nysc certificate. Thanks

Oga chrigo has said it all...you would have to discuss wiv your LGI or LI if you have good rapport, better, if you know ZI or higher ranked staff,I was the CLO at my LG and I know what I am saying.

From the look of things,CDHC,have either joined the strike fully or are on vacation; because how can we explain the reply been given to fall applicants awaiting medicals that have been storming their office for about 3weeks now.

For efficiency on the medical hopeful list, I have decided to seek the assistance of Oga Chrigo to help with updating the list in case of times when I won't be available to do it . @chrigo please accept to do this for all winter applicants sake...Tnx boss.

The list is authentic,those on the list are for winter start date that have submitted their application for processing....you have to storm CDHC to know how far with your application.

Seriously, I got the soft copy on a friday and the hard copy got to my agency the week after. God will favour us all, let's put our trust in him.

No I didnt pay a dime, I used an agency that has partnership with centennial....i didnt even pay application fee. I havent tried mycentennial account, but i would look into it....

"If it says something like visit vfs as quick as possible..- it means medical"
"If it says something like your docx has been assesses and return blah blah blah...-that means you have been denied"

Your question isnt complete sir....if you really what to get reply from those that just got TRV, seriously you are on your own#no offence#, because most of these guys have gone through alot to get their TRV and are still battling with flight plans and settling -in ish. But if you wouldn't mind getting guideline from those without TRV yet, i bet you that some guys willing neglected your question because of this statement "I would like to hear from those who have been successful".

cutieisme: Good morning peeps...actually have been reading this thread for a long time..but i still have some questions ...I am considering going for a masters program in Canada..just finish in school will be going for NYSC February or March next year..So my question is what are my chances if i want to enter for September next year2.Have gone on some school website and the big deal there are the tuition fee and total expenses are just too much so i wonder if i have to pay that money at once even if i choose to pay that much amount for a masters degree...there was one of $31,000 dollars and there is another for $28,000 so i wonder if i have close to 5 million naira why would i have to go for masters when i can invest the money so i said am a novice so i will appreciate if someone can put me through all this.By advising what school to choose as i want to do masters in management(Human Resources).And how much the total cost of tuition fee and living expenses during my stay as that will determine my decision of taking it or just leaving it.My budget is 1 million /1.5 million naira for this...so am thinking if i have schools that wont cost me that much or not more than that.please i need advise please

If you are keen on the tuition fee check University of Northern British Columbia in prince George B.C, www.unbc.ca,2years Msc biz admin ,I dont really have details about living expenses.

The best is for you to storm VFS since CDHC has instructed you to go for medicals, but if you are not in lagos ensure you call VFS costomer care line before you go there. All the best

Don Diara: Miss don, you can submit your application with your call up letter and you will be fine, I submitted my application with my call up letter while I was serving and I am presently in Toronto for my studies. When is your POP? If you are going to leave naija before you POP, all you have to do is make arrangement for how to collect your NYSC certificate, there is nothing impossible in naija. Best of luck!

People do that a lot because NYSC prints your certificate after camp...but I can never advise anybody to go through the back door.I'm purely Legit

Dts NYSC policy...like 2chains said,he forfeited is service for canny which I believe worth it, let me not deceive you,if I were in your shoes...make service hold hin self, canny all the way.

@ miss bon...you can go with Xtus advise but take note that you would start NYSC afresh when you return for it.You would have to write a convinving SOP, becaus this your NYSC can be interpreted by the VO as either a strong home tie or desperation.

Confirm the scholarship within the 2weeks deadline, also confirm that Fanshawe college has received the payment then defer your admission till Fall 2014. Though, when I served I know of so many people that forfeited their service for masters abroad; the ball is in your court.
