Christianity EtcRe: For Catholic Faithfuls by IAH(f): 12:20pm On Oct 17, 2005
I'm a Catholic. I come from a Catholic family but I don't believe in their doctrines. So I go to different churches and sometimes don't go to any church at all for a long period of time. My parents tried to force me before but they gave up when they saw I wasn't going to change. I see Catholics as the same with Cele, Jehovah Witness and Deeper life people! They are not in one accord with other Christians.

CareerRe: What Do You Really Love to Do? by IAH(f): 5:19pm On Oct 15, 2005
I enjoy drawing first and foremost. I like to draw and colour things. I used to draw and design posters for the events in my secondary school, and I used to make free greeting cards for people to give their school-mothers, daughters, etc. Gosh! They were always begging me for it back then! I won Fanta Arts competition twice. wink
I love singing too. I've always managed to squeeze myself into all the choirs of all the churches & schools I've attended since I was small. Unfortunately, I don't know how to dance very well. cry
And ermm, I enjoy gossiping too!! rolleyes

jogego:
From what I understand about paypal, payments are made through paypal into your bank account or your credit card using your email. Now, how can the guy make a fake paypal payment? He doenst know your bank or card details. Sides, am sure u can log into your paypal account to know if the guy has paid.? @ IAH, still waiting for the scenario because this is really interesting.

Its quite easy not to release my goods until payments are made. Thats why I wouldnt post outside Europe or the US.
That is it! He sent me a paypal payment which did not reflect in my account, that's why I classified it as "fake".
Note: You don't need someone bank or card details efore you can pay. It is only the customer's bank/card deatils that is needed and not the seller's.

shockreaction:
First of all, just out of curiousity, why have you decided not to post to Nigeria? What kind of item is it?
I don't trust Nigerians because most of them are scammers. Posting to Nigeria would be a great risk because there is 99.99% possibility that you won't get your money. And I always specify in my item descriptions that I will not post outside UK. The item is a PDA phone.

Propre:
Why set up three ebay account just to buy an item if you are legit? Is IAH the only person selling the same item on ebay?
I wonder o! See me see trouble o!!!

Thank you all for your suggestions. I have finally put them item on auction instead of the fixed price I put before, though it is against my wish because I don't like the auction method. That way, I would be able to cancel all his bids. But I wish there would be a way of blocking people with 0 feedback rating from buying.

This is something I've also thought about deeply. I will surely go back home after my studies. If one is rich, Nigeria is the best place to lavish. I could just go abroad on holidays but Naija is the place to be!!!

Help with Ebay Scammer

Ok now, I'm frustrated!!! I listed an item for sale on ebay and this guy contacted me that he would like to buy the item as a birthday gift for his father and wants me to post it to Nigeria. I replied that I will not post to Nigeria.

This person went to create another ebay account with a Singapore address and bought the item. Then he sent me a mail that he would like me to ship the item to Nigeria for his sister who is having her birthday and he would send me Postal orders. This made me realise that it's the same person that contacted me yesterday. I replied that I am not sending to Nigeria that he should please leave me alone!!!

So I went to relist the item. He created yet another account this time with a Netherlands address and bought the item again!!!! I sent him a mail that he should pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee stop doing this that I'm also a Nigerian, that he should look for other people to scam. At least I'm not the only one there. I cancelled it and relisted it again, Now this guy has bought it again with another account!!!

He is just wasting my listing fees because ebay charges everytime I relist the item. Please what can I do? Does anybody know how to block people with no feedback rating from buying one's items? I've emailed ebay and they've not replied. HELP!

FamilyRe: Using First Names For Husband & Wife (Father & Mother) in the Family? by IAH(f): 7:44pm On Sep 12, 2005
I'll go with first names. Calling your spouse "Mama Bomboy" is screwed up like Layi said and I think calling him/her "Sweetie, Honey, Butter" is too FAKE. I just laugh at some yeye couples that call each other "Sugar, Salt, etc" My kids can't be dumb so they won't pick up what I call my hubby.

EventsIAH at the Wedding Reception by IAH(op): 2:20pm On Sep 10, 2005
IAH was present at the wedding reception of Latoya and Greatpeter. Time came for Item No 7...Menu-menu. The ushers (Seun & the bootylicious nairaland babes) started distributing fried chicken to people. IAH was very happy because that was her main purpose of attending the wedding - to eat. Her mouth started watering as her eyes followed the ushers up and down.

But Alas! before, they got to her, the chicken finished. She was very angry.

Few minutes later, the ushers started distributing roasted turkey. IAH's anger flew away immediately as her mouth started watering again, she almost fell off his seat looking at the ushers with her long throat expanding and contracting. Again the turkey finished before they got to her. She flew up in a rage. Not again!

She went to complain to the head-usher (Seun) that they did not give her chicken the first time and turkey this time. The head-usher apologised and promised that the next time they distribute something, they would start with her. She went back to her seat relieved and kept glancing in the direction of the kitchen with high expectations. The ushers kept to their promise, when they started distributing toothpicks, it was IAH they gave first!

Truth is...the beautiful ones are not yet born.
