Do you feel bad when a valued member leaves the forum? |
O ga o! My eyes almost popped out when I was reading this thread. I think I live in the 12th century while everybody else lives in 21st century. BTW, Where was I when this thread was active? |
Love is all about making sacrifices and compromise. One of them should be able to compromise his/her stand for the other. |
I don't like Baba Suwe and his wife, Moladun Kenkelewu. ![]() The albino guy, Afin Elesho is the one that cracks me up...and he doesn't have to paint his face with charcoal and look ridiculous to make me laugh. ![]() |

Everybody knows that racism is much higher in US and hardly exists in UK. There's no point arguing that. |
The timidity of the Omnipotence is the commencement of sagacity. Meaning: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. |

Why are Nigerians so crazy about degrees? In Nigeria, if you just decide you don’t want to go to University, you are looked upon as a failure. Most parents would do anything to see that their kids enter Uni, pay huge sums to get their wards’ names on the admissions list, bribe lecturers to give them marks, and the students too struggle their lives out to bag that certificate, etc. Why is it so important? Is it really worth it in today’s Nigeria? After all, the world’s most successful people don’t have no degrees e.g. Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Paul Allen, Larry Ellison, John Carmack...the list is endless. My former flatmate dropped out of Uni to go and work, and when I told my Daddy he said “O mase o”(meaning “What a pity”) As if her life has ended because she dropped out of Uni! I think he needs to listen to Kanye West’s Album College Dropout (School Spirit Skit 1&2, Lil Jimmy Skit) and know that “degrees” don't matter. Nigerians need to change that mentality. Here are some extracts from Kanye West's tracks: "...then you get your Bachelors, then you get your Masters, then you get your Masters' Masters, then you get your doctorate, you go man, when everybody says hey! you are not making any money, you say look at my degrees..." So now you get your degrees tattooed on your back, your so excited about it. After several interviews, Oh my God, you'll come in at an entry level position and when u do that if u kiss enough ass, you'll move up to the next level, which is being a secretary's secretary . And boy is that great! you get to take messages for the secretary who never went to college..." ![]() |
Please who is Ini Edo? Can somebody post her picture? |
But why would someone want to hack Lagbaja's site? Maybe the hacker thought he'll get some data. |
Nice! I can now watch NTA news and see Baba Iyabo! ![]() |

If you can allow a Zimbabwean or a Tanzanian to enter Aso-Rock and be your President, then what you are talking about will hold water. |
Pintos is very right! UK is free for all and they don't discriminate unlike US where they have black colleges, black areas, United Negro, black something something. |
Dysmenorrhea: Who can feel me? Dysmenorrhea a.k.a Menstrual Pain or Cramps. A woman's worst nightmare. Two days of my hitherto lively month is spent groaning in pain due to this ugly monster. For me, it defies all kinds of medication. I have tried all pain-relievers like Ibuprofen, Paracetamol,Naproxen, etc. Even my father who is a doctor has not been able to help my situation. Some people suggested exercise but oh my God...trying it once aggravated it. I read in one book that it can be surgically corrected by removing one's womb! How do you ladies here treat it if you experience it? Any suggestions? Can you feel me? Don't be shy. Men can also contribute if they can help. |
I find it hard to believe. |
