Really?

So money dey this NURTW like dis?

But where is the money coming from?

Because, if it is about the tickets I see some of them issuing, I doubt they remit anything to the Union. huh

So it is actually more profitable to lead NURTW Lagos, than to be a state governor? angry
It will surprise you that they deliver the money to their various park leaders. Those boys you see on the streets collecting money from transporters are under serious oath. Those that want to play smart amongst them are severely beaten that it would take the grace of God for them to recover from the injury incurred.

Sanwo Olu is not handling this issue well at all
Sanwo Olu does not have control over the issue sadly. He just follows Tinubu's orders as regard this NURTW issue. Mc Oluomo is a major Tinubu foot soldier and he can't be discarded easily like that. Don't forget that election is around the corner once again and he would be needed to do some dirty job in Lagos like he always do every four years....

No, you can't. Nigerian liscense is what it is called... NIGERIAN. UK driving laws are not the same with ours... Get your international license and save yourself the stress.

And before you ask, yes I know someone over there who couldn't use his Nigerian liscense. Except if you somehow never go through a police check, you'll need an international license
You can actually use your Nigerian driving license for a year over there in the UK, except the license itself will expire before the said one year.

oikirodah:
2023: Is El Rufai And Atiku Bagudu Sending A Cryptic Message Across Endorsing Tinubu's Candidature? Check This Out

In the Military parade, there is what is called "Parade Moving From Slow To Quick March" what this literally means is that the parade is going to change from a slow march to a quick march. Commencing with the left foot, a pace of 60cm (24 inches) is taken and the parade changes immediately.

As we approach the party primaries for the general elections the slow march has finally given way to a quick march. Everyone is declaring and at the last count Vice President Osinbajo has signified interest in the nation's top job.

This week we are expected to see Ogbonnaya Onu declaring, also the rumour is rife that Chirs Ngige is going to declare as well even Timpre Silva is warming up to declare.

So everywhere is bubbling with activities, Nigerians now have multiple choices to choose from.

There is something playing out that has gotten me thinking loud, you know the Governors are very powerful and have a large say on who gets what in party affairs. Getting to study the body language of some of these governors who are normally reserved has made me realise that some of them are sending cryptic messages across about who their preferred aspirants may be.

Last week Tinubu was at Kaduna to commiserate with the people of the State over the unfortunate train incident that led to the loss of lives. During the visit by the Jagaban the host Governor, Nasir El Rufai gave up his official seat for Tinubu to sit down while addressing the press and others.

Although the ceremony was a solemn one, nevertheless a cryptic message was passed with that singular act. El Rufai who was amazed at Tinubu's show of sympathy may have keyed into the "Tinubu Fever".

The seal of the governor of the state was not covered which goes a long way to say Tinubu was well respected and venerated, it would have taken nothing for Asiwaju to seat beside Governor El Rufai.

Then today again something played out that tells me Tinubu may have secured the majority of the backing of APC State Governors.

Tinubu called a meeting with the APC governors and the meeting was held at Kebbi House in Abuja.

Hmm, do you know what this means? Kebbi State Governor hosted the meeting, in politics during the eleventh hour which we presently are, every move is a suspect, you can not come out and host a meeting in your lodge when your party has other aspirants and tell me you are not sympathetic to the cause of the person your are hosting.

Why dem no host Yahaya Bello or Rochas or even Amaechi for their governor's lodge?

Why was Osinbajo's visit hosted at his residence in Aso Rock? Why did Tinubu not host the Governors in his house?

The game is getting more exhilarating oh, my own na to talk am as I see am o.

Check out the controversial photo that makes me conclude El Rufai has finally pitched his tent with Team Tinubu.

My name na Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah and I am the Principal/Chairman of Bush Radio Academy.
The Northern governors are playing politics as well with Tinubu. Most of them are also eyeing the vice presidential seat. Hence, the amorous relationship with Tinubu....

me since last year October, the regular excuse is network is down.
I still went there February, still the same excuse.

Right now I'm willing to use someone else's own. Since I can't still get mine.
For those thinking NIN is to stop bandits, stop being foolish,
Kidnappers would still use the victims phone to make the calls .
What happened to bvn , sim registration etc.

But even if we talk from now till tomorrow solution won't still come out.
So let's watch and see
I am just thinking that if the kidnapper use the victim's line to make a call, then the victim's line will be traced. I am not speaking for the Nigerian government but it will be difficult for the bandits to pick up their ransome. Again, it is a policy world wide to have a NIN. In the UK, you can't do anything without it. That is why the first thing to do when you travel to the UK is to register for the National Insurance Number (NIN).

She has every right to move away from unhealthy relationships, and if you are sure you are not in her life to play games, then you could continue otherwise move on!

Threats like acid and knife stabbing is enough for a reasonable person to japa whether you trust the person could do it or not as devil has a way of manipulating situations and before you know it they start blaming the devil.
I second your opinion. Whether joke or not, that threat is worth to quit a relationship.

9jaRealist:
Absolutely agree that “intelligence is way different from English speaking” but…
Those folks have textbooks and academic literature, and are taught, in their languages (even same for most Arabs)!

In Nigeria, where our academic textbooks and literature are virtually all in English language, there really shouldn’t be any rational excuses for any Nigerian graduate, who has purportedly studied in English (and/or English) for a minimum of 10-15 years (under the 6-3-3-4 system), should be struggling with the basics of the language of learning and instruction.

We shouldn’t be making excuses for blatant MEDIOCRITY in Nigeria…
Nonetheless, I don’t blame Nigerian graduates, because the reality is most of their teachers are even WORSE.
>
I am not encouraging mediocrity and I haven't said anything different from your submission. However, we should be mindful that we are not native speakers of English. Like I said earlier, since it is a medium of instruction in many schools in Nigeria, students should learn to improve and be intentional about it since doors can even be opened for opportunities......

So, what is the essence of going to School if u can't express urself well? What is the evidence that u are a graduate or u are well educated?
This is a misconception bro.....I could recall about 7 years ago I had an argument with a friend who had the same line of thought as you regarding this English speaking matter.

Intelligence is way different from English speaking. Chinese, Germans, French and some of the wealthy nations speak bad English but they are doing well in their various field of endeavour.

The only point that you can outline here is that, since Nigerian students are been taught in English, they should try as much as possible to master the craft of speaking it. But that is different from what you posted up there.

It is normal, not just with online dating, even physical. In the first few weeks, the fire is high, there are too many things to catch up on.

-How many are you in your family?
-Do you eat ogbono?
-Where did you school?
-What is your favourite colour?
-I am an Arsenal fan so I am used to disappointments…etc

When you guys have exhausted the dating past questions, then the real work starts.

I think if we women put in as much work as men do. You know, they are most times the ones calling, asking that you guys meet physically, initiating video calls and you just turn these things down because you don’t want to see his face that day. Maybe we should try doing the work sometimes. What do you think?

Totally agree with you. One other thing that I find that affects speech development is the dummy/pacifier and also the time a child spends on bottles. This is why the health visitors try to encourage new moms to move the infants to cups from 12 months. A child that still drinks milk from a bottle at 3 years old will struggle to speak.

As important as school work is, extra curricular activities like swimming, gymnastics, horse riding. drama, cycling, playing musical instruments, brownies, scouts etc are also very important and equip the kids with life skills that will come in handy in the future.

This is not Nigeria where there is so much emphasis on book with little knowledge of life skills. We need to raise children who will become well rounded adults in future. I live in a predominantly white environment and all the men in my extended family and social circle are very hands on. They fix their cars themselves, paint their houses themselves, build fences and tile bathrooms by themselves. Even the women too are hands on except moi.
Your final sentence is funny grin
