Some of these Nigerian lecturers don't deserve any pity most especially the yoruba ones. Go to an hausa lecturer as an hausa student, tell him your plight and he'll listen to you, go to an igbo lecturer as an igbo student, tell him your tribulation and he'll listen to you but go to a yoruba lecturer as a yoruba student, tell him your ordeal and he'll send you out of his office raining all sorts of insult on you and even tell you that you must be very stupid. A yoruba lecturer is not interested in seeing his fellow yoruba brother succeed not to talk of a foreigner. I remember what I faced back then in 2006. When Dr Olagoke's daughter and wife died within a week, we all celebrated.

That a lecturer refused to help you doesn't justify your tribal sentiment in my opinion. A lecturer who is not from my tribe also refused to do a make up test for me in my final year when I was involved in an accident but I didn't look at it from a tribal perspective. He was just being a sadist and thank God I scaled through.

Haa ishi pls careful with words. Nothing is actually wrong with hijab but is not recognised by the body that regulates the law profession in Nigeria. If she was allowed to do that (wear hijab), other tribes and religion will come with there own kinda head gear. What I think should be done is for the Muslim folk to advocate for a change in the law to allow hijab. Not all these scream of injustice that will amount to nothing.

I really do not think so. If the policy is not skewed to favour dangote, I see no reason why there won't be competition. Dangote will want to pump in more money as usual but I don't think other competitors will fold there hands.

Oga. rapmoney, as much as your write up contains some valid points but some points still cut out to me as generalization as well. Both broke and rich guys have complexes -just that they vary. That is why a rich guy has loads of girls to choose from and still find it difficult to choose from. They go through a tedious task to eventually settle for one. The broke dude on the other may not have loads of girls lurking around but it also become a task for him to keep the very few ones that come by.

This choosing a partner of a thing doesn't have a fixated way as you have modeled in your article. However , it is always good for a guy to be economically viable without a woman being the primary concern for achieving financial success.
