@OP, I have minimal idea on how tenancy fees work in many part of Lag, but I don't think you can get a good place with your budget. Truth is N200,000 doesn't sound like a budget that will meet many of the suggested areas on this thread.

I don't know the nature of your work-at-home job, but if it has anything to do with writing, then you shouldn't be bothered about your neighbour's IQ. Writers don't have time for those neighbourhood gossip and eavesdropping. It is best to keep your job discreet and avoid any form of distraction as much as possible.

I've been working at home for 4+ years, and my biggest challenge is Electricity, not my neighbor's IQ.

I followed the comments on this thread religiously and this is the most intelligent way of answering the op's query. Chop knuckle

It took quite long but God knows why she didn't make the decisions early enough. Anyway, she eventually did at her own time with the right person I guess.

Sir, developed nations wouldn't even allow citizens to build structures where they are not supposed to and that is why you don't get to hear about demolition exercises.

Its only in Africa that we build houses anyway even on government acquired lands especially when its a compulsory acquisition (govt will make use of the houses someday u know).

That is why the need to get HONEST surveyors is a must to determine the status of a land before purchase though some pple know the status of these lands yet they go ahead to purchase them thinking the govt will not make use of them.

I bet u haven't seen any close relative in that condition b4 and I pray u don't. That post on Facebook could be an avenue to vent her anger on the authorities concerned and also as a whistle blower so as to forestall further occurrence in the future.

I almost passed through the fate some years back when I did my orientation @ the osun state camp. I was actually very sick (malaria) and was on drugs but the soldiers said I was pretending and was eventually ordered to lay flat on the ground facing the scorching sun. it was a nasty experience for me and thank God I'm still alive and well but some ppl are not alive to relate their story.

The tRuth is there is nothing bad in a girl asking a guy out but majority of girls that do it are unstable girls that can fall for any cute guy at any time.... so this makes it difficult for the guy to know which girl is coming with a genuine heart.....
The best thing is for the lady to show the love in a matured way, avoid lusting around him to get his attention.........

While perusing this thread, this is still the best answer to the question the Op posed. There is nothing wrong in wooing a man by the opposite sex, the only challenge is that when the lady in question finds a cuter guy...............The guy too needs to decipher the genuine and sincere ones.
