I'm starting to have issues on how people compare these two sectors every now and then. Be calming down na, for me, it's easier to thrive in the education sector than the entertainment sector, and I believe it is same for many other people too.

Do you know the number of people that went for bbnaija's audition? What was the reward of those who weren't selected? Nothing!

Millions of teachers, lecturers, etc will keep getting their salaries, although might be small, but they keep getting it every month. Not everyone will become Ronaldo o, school ain't scam.

Please do not waste your time starting over, instead go for your MSc immediately. While doing your MSc, make sure you learn how to make academic publications in reputable international academic journals, do not waste your MSc project by not publishing it. Publications will give you edge over others during interview.
After the MSc try your luck at some institutions. If there is no luck and you have the means, continue to PhD, but make sure you keep publishing even on your own!

Well, there are very tenable excuses but they don't even count. The thing is, I'm ready to start afresh, I just want to be sure it's the right thing to do (and the only way out). I actually know a lot of lecturers with 2.2 and even third class, it's just the stiff competition and current unemployment rate that is bothering me.

Hi people, I just graduated with a 2.2 in one of the sciences. (CGPA 3.3). I admit that was due to my carelessness. Recently, I have this strong ambition to become a university lecturer and rise to the peak of my career.

Now, these are my concerns. What are the chances of getting a lecturing job (after I might have gotten my PhD) considering the 2.2 Bsc result? Or it
doesn't matter once there are higher qualifications?

Is it worthwhile to sit for JAMB again and start all afresh? I'm still in my mid twenties and the drive is high. I know I can do it, but is it necessary / worth it?

Of course I learnt a lot. Trust your partner but reserve that little percentage of doubt, in case things go south, you won't cry. Never express the doubt anyway. As a man, be on top of the relationship. In my case, I was initially on top for over a year, she's always the one chasing me more than I chase her, gradually I felt I wasn't treating her like a queen... I started being too nice. started calling her more than she called me, sent money, pampered her, gifts, visiting her more than she visits me, and gradually she fell out of love. I wanted to create a perfect and balanced relationship but in reality, someone must be on the advantage. It's better the man is in control/advantage, God designed it that way because ladies can't quite manage their emotions.

Treat her like a queen, but only once in a while. like......... almost rarely and unexpectedly. Let her pant for you, then give her the best you can. let her pant again....... then give her. Don't just keep loving and loving like a ful. don't say "I love you" every now and then, let your "I love you" be powerful/rare enough to make her night.
