Most Nigerians live in houses worst than American prisons me typing this have not seen electricity in 42 hours straight, I paid aboki 50 bucks to charge my phone, American prisons have 24/7 electricity, gym, free TV, free laundry services, free phone calls and free food that is why black Americans even the celebs see jail as an achievement as street cred status bringer

how many haven't been to jail? you tell me as we speak many US celebs are in jail included Steven Spielberg's daughter, R Kelly, Da baby etc
Even Robert Downey Jr, Lil Kim, tommy Lee, Mark Wahlberg have all been to U.S prison
Their prison is not like our own many come out of jail looking better than they did before they went in.

Another quick question? Ask them how many years and how much suffering connections etc it took them to get that degree and if the pay is adequate do the same for every other profession except clergy and politicians

I'm not encouraging crime please don't do crime but let us be realistic in our thoughts and speech, I thought if you go to school you must be rich until I was in a slum and a woman told me she did her youth service in taraba, I was surprised I was like wtf excuse me, she said yes she served in.... She didn't know I was thinking how did you go to school for 17+ years only to end up in this slum in this poverty

Imagine if she, like most young girls were compelled to sleep with lecturers for grades, or sorted to pass and all that thinking riches were ahead of them upon graduation only to end up in a slum without husband and children hey this isn't fiction this lady was quarrelling with another non educated woman the other day I recorded what the women were using to insult her. Tinubu made a grand mistake supporting buhari in 2015 despite knowing fully well that buhari is incompetent to lead naija to the promise land. With so many quality and world class personalities we have in this nation, it still baffles me how tinubu decided that bubu is our best option. Now the country is in shambles, insecurity and poverty reign supreme in the land. The only way out for this country to avoid total collapse is restructuring or peaceful separation.

There's nothing like peaceful separation, it can't happen. I so much hate this administration too, but Jonathan's wasn't spectacular too. As far as I am concerned, Obasanjo is the last great president we had. Late Yar Adua was promising too (RIP). I pray and hope for the best in 2023.

It seems Tinubu is tired of making kings, he wants to be king and this is his last chance. However, some strong factors are not in his favour.

1. He's a Yoruba Muslim
2. He has power and relevance in SW, but he got it by force. (Not the kind and magnitude of affection Yorubas had for the likes of Abiola, Awolowo, Arisekola Alao etc)
3. His loyalists are slowly fading away. Osinbajo is becoming closer to his boss, I guess he has the presidential ambition too. Aregbesola has his ambitions too and seems not to be as loyal as he used to be.
4. Northerners/old CPC guys are trying to get the major positions in APC, and some southerners seems to align with them since it will satisfy their own ambitions too.

Everyone knows Tinubu is a "master strategist", so anything is possible. Let's watch and see how the drama plays out, and vote for the best candidates when it's time. God bless Nigeria.

And to people defending the army and government in general, just remember that this government releases Boko Haram members back to the public even after some soldiers have died in order to get them captured.

If there's a will to end biko haram, there's definitely a way. Don't mind the people toying with human lives, with the lives of Nigerians and their brothers in arms. Nigerians are the problems of Nigeria, that's the issue. But really, how sweet is power? To worth the continual sacrificing of fellow Nigerians? Is it the convoys? The free jet rides? But does it really matter that the book was translated by humans? Shouldn't we at least trust God enough to believe that no matter what errors and mistakes were made during the writing and many translations that ensued, He is able to ensure that His truth reaches the heart of those who sincerely seek Him?
Do you put your trust in the translations and comments of mere mortals or do you place it squarely with God allowing Him to lead you to His truth wherever and however He will.

During the first couple of weeks of my knowing God, God did not lead me to reading the bible for answers to questions i had in my heart at the time.
He lead me to books that opened my eyes to the truth of Him and to the realization that even the Bible, the book is in fact not the word of God, but a book that contains the word of God written down. The truth in the book are the very words that come right out of the mouth of God(Jesus Christ in the NT). Every thing else are words of men.

Oh... I get you now. But really you don't have to live in self isolation forever. Being a believer isn't a positive Covid 19 result. I pray you read the scriptures to the extent that you'll start to fellowship with the brethren. Trust me, the church is always joyous house anywhere I find myself, and that is what our God promised.

I don't read books written by so-called men of God because Jesus Christ commanded His followers not to perceive themselves teachers in their own right.

I like what John the apostle said when He advised all believers to stick to the teaching of the Spirit of God and only Him. Those are wise words since It is in obedience to that which Jesus Christ Himself commanded.

Do you attend a church? Do you wait during sermon? Do you preach to others? If you do any of those you're definitely contradicting yourself. Don't forget that the Bible we read today was translated by humans into English and other languages, we even have many versions out there. While we remain watchful and prayerful to avoid false teachings, discarding every attempt to be taught other believers is on the extreme.

Smiles. I absolutely believe in the ability of the Holy Spirit to interprete the scriptures. But believe me, there's nothing wrong in reading commentaries, if one is convinced to do so. I've been to many churches due to change in location and I've seen my pastors read Study Bibles. Trust me, you'll just understand more. Don't you read any spiritual book apart from the Bible? Kenneth Hagin, Reinhard Bonnke, etc. I know there could be some wrongs in such books, but if you read them with the directive of the holy Spirit, you'll get more. Peace.

An hour to read a chapter? What chapter is that? It takes only minutes to read any chapter. The entire book of Genesis you can read through in a matter of hours, if you are serious. Which kind reading una dey read so?

Lol... I get you. I've done those fast paced readings before but I want to take a different approach now. I use the Matthew Henry complete commentary and to study that alone, trust me, one will easily spend up to 30 mins on a chapter. I'll speed up a bit now tho. say 5-10 chapters per day.

Good evening fam. I just started a Bible reading plan and I chose the easiest option. It runs for about 3 years, yes, three good years. I chose that because I don't want to get chocked by the way and stop. It's about a chapter a day and it means a lot to me. Also, I don't just want to "read" through, I want to study through. I read commentaries, browse for more info, read different versions pray along, etc. Sometimes it takes up to an hour to study a chapter. Reading the Bible everyday actually feels good, and I encourage you to do the same or better. May God bless us all. Pls share your experience "reading the Bible through".

Good day people. I have really wanted to share my life-threatening weakness with someone but unfortunately, i have no one.. let me begin

We all have some imperfections/weaknesses, some might be physical disabilities, hair baldness, mental disabilities etc. It can come in any form as long as its something that you see and regret in yourself everyday you wake up. I am 20 and i discovered mine when i was 16.. On entering university, i discovered i couldn't really communicate with anyone in school and i detested public places, people hated me naturally and never came close to me.wherever i went, people talked silently about me.
Whenever i tried going against this weakness to try and kick off any conversation whatsoever, physical symptoms like; sweating, shaky limbs,loss of words, uncomfortability etc manifested.. After few weeks in the university, i lied to my parent that i hated my course and that i couldn't cope.. In summary; I dropped out just like that


After staying idle at home for years, i got a decent job which i really cherished, i worked for about a month there, trying my best to hide my weakness but on entering my second month of work there, things changed and my weakness made me quit.

Beginning of this year, i noticed that it has also began affecting my relationship with close relatives and most have begun moving away from me. They say i am immature and a snub. They don't want to have anything to do with me anymore. My parent is threatening that i need to leave his house very soon as i am now a man but my weakness makes me so weak..

I am not bad looking but due to this weakness, i have never had a girlfriend. I push all the girls that want to know me away with this weakness..

Parents Should not only give their kids food and put them in schools, they should also communicate deeply with them.
I was a victim of a broken home and i stay with my abusive father. As a child, i suffered from neglect because no one cared about me and now, its threatening my existence on Earth. Whenever i remember how lonely and empty i am, i weep cos i am not equipped to stay alife.

Please advice me because am tired. I have tried being social but my weakness always destroys everything. I feel hopeless

Come on bro, I understand your fears. First, look for a male friend with similar interests, make friends for a while and open up to him about your insecurities.
