Hello guys, I'm not a writer or blogger so pardon me if any error(s), I'll be brief. It was just about 5pm yesterday when I started hearing noises and the blasting sound from gun shots. I had to leave the movie I was watching to find out what's/who's causing chaos in the neighborhood. Having asked a few questions, I learnt that some area boys are having a great time(fighting), using all kinds of deadly weapons to exchange pleasantries for reason(s) that can not be successfully pointed out and the police force could be seen at every corner doing their usual raid, arresting innocent youths in the process but the conflict still some how managed to continue. Again this evening, I was woken up from sleep by series loud sound from gun shots but this time, I learnt it's from the FSARs operatives and we all know these guys don't value human lives, once you are caught in such circumstances, one can instantly be shot to death. I'm a kind of guy that avoids getting involved in any form of physical combat or conflict. I love my life so much I don't wanna die. Then I thought to myself, what will happen to these area boys, the gun shots I've been hearing probably would have killed some of them or they by themselves would have butchered their rivalry gang and they will die just like that (iku saara ) no achievement, no nothing. What were they fighting for? is it worth dying for? Questions I asked myself, which brings me to the ultimate question, "Must We Fight?" What other measures can we take to resolve conflict without having to fight to death. As much as I don't want to die (iku saara), I equally don't want the lives of other youths to be wasted just like that. If you are reading this, I'd like for you to write at least one factor that can cause conflict, misconduct, misunderstanding etc and how to resolve them without having to fight and shed blood in the process. A bid to have a much safer environment for us all to live in. #swayed |

if we are still going to be governed by our own, I believe one way or the other, we are still gonna face the problems we are facing cuz it's in us already. I think we need a totally different hands. |
I'm not a writer but i just have to try and be very brief. After much deliberation, I came to the conclusion that Nigeria's problem is bigger than Nigeria. I don't blame our current government and I'm not in support of their activities either. If you check, life was a lot better during the colonial era. I believe greed and selfishness brought about our independence which automatically inspired tribalism. Nigeria fell in the wrong hands that's why we are where we are today. Too many errors have been made, we the younger generation grew up in corruption we weren't born with it. We now see it as one of the vital ways to become successful in the country. I believe in other for the country to move forward, we need to be recolonized, letting the British take over once again till we have become totally re-orientated. Only then can we can have capable hands to run the nation. . Good morning Nigeria. #swayed |
What a photo this is. End of an era and the beginning of another.

The World Cup is so special because it brings together the very best players from across the globe as they go head-to-head for the greatest prize in football. Careers can be made with good performances on the world stage. The likes of Pele and Diego Maradona became national heroes for their performances in this competition, helping their respective countries lift the trophy. The aforementioned duo are considered two of the best players to have ever played the game. The younger generation would argue that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are far superior despite the fact they haven’t produced the goods at the World Cup. The two superstars - along with Neymar - have now all played once for their countries during this current World Cup and it’s fair to say they've had contrasting fortunes. While Ronaldo bagged a hat-trick for Portugal against Spain, Messi missed a penalty during Argentina’s 1-1 draw with Iceland, while Neymar was repeatedly fouled as Brazil drew 1-1 with Switzerland. Advantage Cristiano, then. However, former Liverpool player John Arne Riise has noticed one thing that Messi isn’t doing that separates him from Ronaldo and Neymar - and he loves him for it. So far during this tournament, the officiating has been pretty good - obviously helped by VAR. However, Riise has noticed what Neymar and Ronaldo - as well as other ‘top players’ - have done during this World Cup. Following Brazil’s draw with Switzerland, Riise wrote: “Neymar, C Ronaldo and a lot of the top players are rolling around when they get fouled. Complaining. Gesturing to referee. Messi doesn’t. Gets up and gets on with it. One of the reasons why I love him!” Riise has actually made a good point. Messi is renowned for trying to stay on his feet as much as possible, despite opponents trying to foul him at every opportunity. On the other hand, Ronaldo was criticised on two counts for going to ground too easily against Spain when he won a penalty and his late free-kick. Meanwhile, Neymar was fouled 10 times against Switzerland and was clearly annoyed by the opponent’s tactics. But the Paris Saint-Germain man was constantly rolling on the turf and moaning to the referee. It must have been incredibly frustrating for him but it’s not something you’d see Messi do. And it’s something we must credit the Argentine superstar for… |

Ecuador and Nigeria have agreed to sign a visa-free agreement to strengthen bilateral relations, Ecuadorian Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Deopoldo Rovayo, has said. According to PUNCH, Rovavo made the announcement in Abuja on Wednesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Olukunle Bamgbose. He said the visit was to strengthen bilateral ties between his country and Nigeria, especially in the communication sector. He explained that it was also to initiate an agreement between the two nations to enable their nationals to visit each other’s country without having to apply for a visa. This, he said, was necessary because the number of Nigerians in Ecuador was now increasing. The envoy said, “The purpose of my visit was to further cement the bilateral relations between Ecuador and Nigeria. The two countries have agreed to sign an agreement to enable our citizens to visit one another without a visa. "There are approximately about one thousand Nigerians living in Ecuador and the number would continue to rise.” Bamgbose assured the envoy that the Federal Government would work with Ecuador on how to implement the non-visa agreement.
