Ehiscotch:You need to look at this objectively. No one is asking okowa to chase out a whole tribe. Fulani herdsmen are not settlers as they themselves often claim. They said they are just passing by to graze. Why should someone just passing by leave so much death and destruction in their wake. When Fayose took a stand against them in ekiti Why Was there no reprisal?? The north is banking of this kind of fear to continue with the status quo. Have you heard any northern leader come out to condemn this or call the erring herdsmen to order? NO What does that tell you? Pass a law criminalizing open grazing and enforce it. |
fumiswtpusy:You think okowa is a coward yet you want to draft the coward state into your mirage Biafra map. We all know that you only want them for the oil. Nothing else. I love threads like this that expose your hypocrisy. |
Ehiscotch:Which useless reprisal?? If it was warri people killing a Fulani in the north do you think their Governor will think about reprisal?? You are trying to be reasonable and diplomatic with people who are alien to reason and diplomacy. They will just give you six month and come back again. Well delta people over to you. Na una fight |
The cost of writing Jamb is too high. Government should consider eliminating all the middle men to drive down cost. Jamb is supposed to be more of service based than revenue generating agency |
Bitcoin1000:Nothing is wrong with you ma. Stop sleeping with every man that says I love you. What is wrong with waiting till you get married? Or must every man in town sample you first? Stop equating sex with dating /relationship. Don't turn yourself to tokumbo/nigerian used for the man that will finally be your husband If he loves you he will wait till after marriage. |
This is a decoy... They were sent to distract. A leopard cannot wash off it's spots..... Borno people watch your back! |
evilyoruba:Please disregard the other quote. It's meant for that mallam forming lawyer up there. Peace |
yarimo:Suddenly you know the part of Nigeria constitution that guarantees freedom to live anywhere but you don't know the part that guarantees right to life and criminalize murder. Smh Which right are you talking about. I thought your arewa leaders said they are not Nigerians. Or what right has a non-nigerian have to walk into the country and kill at will. As a Nigerian, you have a Right to live anywhere provided you are law abiding. Right doesn't stand alone. Right goes with obligation and I'm this case the obligation is to be law abiding. Killing far owners in their farm because of cows doesn't sound like law abiding to me How many Fulani have been killed by warri indigenes in the north? If it was the other way round will you have this same opinion? Won't you chase the murderous stranger out? A visitor cannot come to my house ready to kill me and you expect me to recite human right to him. No region has monopoly of violence. The earlier you call your Fulani brothers to order the better for you all |

MadCow1:Multichoice is a South African company. What did you expect? Who stopped Nigeria from establishing a credible competitor? What happened to HITV? Upon all the talk una no get light... |
Roaming about and looking for who to kill with guns and AK47. All security agencies are in Abuja including FRSC but watch how they will suddenly go blind and deaf BTW I thought they said they are looking for grass. Biko is there grass field anywhere in Abuja central area?? Abuja residents beware. They are coming for you... |
laudate:Please do sir. With all pleasure |
sunshineV:He got it for October 1 to fight on behalf of kanu. Probably decided to test it before the D day |
Daplux4:Good. Another reason is the fact that so much emphasis is placed on money in the east. A Yoruba or Hausa man may consider seniority in family decision no matter how poor the eldest may be but for igbo it is most often by who can throw money around. I'm saying this from experience of my igbo family friends. You need to de-emphasis this notion that money is everything. It leads to desperation and artificial inflation. So you can see that your large population and lesser landmass is what accounts for large number of ndigbo living outside the east and not because they are desperate to go and develop other states as often claimed here. Igbos are arguably the most dispersed tribe found in every State and region. And thesame reason why your native folks will want to reserve the little land for indigenes rather than sell it off to strangers. I can relate with that. That said, don't you think it's suicide for kanu to now encourage all igbos to come back home? If they all heed the call you will immediately have a humanitarian crisis in your hands. And for thesame reason, igbos need to respect and be grateful to all regions and states where they currently reside. I have not seen that respect even here on nairaland. The host community cannot be at the mercy of the stranger. It is the other way round If north /east or west/east give each other quit notice today, the east will feel the heat more because there are more igbos in the north than you have northerners in the east. Same goes for the west. I will always advocate for true federalism, restructuring and resource control over session anyday anytime. A sesceding Biafra will be a land-locked country within a country. Not funny if you know the implications bro **Modified |
Daplux4:Good. The 3.5m land in your that is not in the city.. . Is it expensive because of its infrastructure/ proximity to the city or just because it is customary to hike property prices. I don't know why a bare undeveloped land far from city in the east should sell for almost same price with land in Lagos |
Daplux4:In your best estimation who has bought more land in other regions? Igbos in the north Or Northerners in the east? |
0b100100111:I don't underestimate clear statements and action. It can happen if you and I keep denying the reality. Even Buhari said he will not rest until Sharia is implemented all over Nigeria. You think it's a joke? Better safe than be sure. It is a global agenda. Not just in Nigeria |
0b100100111:You will be shocked to realize that present day Iraq, part of Iran and euthopia were mostly Christians and atheists when Paul went on his several missionary journeys there. The seven churches of revelations were there. 2/3 of the New Testaments after the book of acts were written in those locations and Islam was not in existent then Do you think the ottoman empire converted them to Islam by evangelism, visitation or sharing tracts? It is by jihad (political, physical, ideological, military etc) and massive procreation /poligamy. I've seen people convert to Islam in the north and their own family (father/brothers) approve others to kill them! That's why I pity all those Europeans. While they are having only one girl or being gay/lesbian, their Syrian refugees are marrying 4 wives each and having ten's of children. In the next generation they will outnumbered the natural citizens, erode their values then the real agenda will be unvieled The Islamist is happy when people like you deny the existence or possibility of his agenda. Sometimes ignorance is not bliss. |
sarrki:So your experience with this one Pastor is your yardstick for measuring every pastor. Brilliant! |
SlayQueenSlayer:He doesn't need to be a local govt chairman of Governor. He was more powerful than both. If I'm Senate president with power to make laws and my state and local government are not performing shouldn't I hold them accountable? Or are you saying that there was no budget to repair the road to his place since 1999? If he doesn't give a damn about his very own constituency and keeps using it as campaign promise till date what does that tell you? Is it your own constituency that will be his priority? As Senate president he had the influence to bring such government officers to accountability but no. He's part of the corrupt establishment. You can't give what you don't have. |
udemzyudex:Not some people. I served in Benue state 2010. The guy is a failure. Only out to enrich his pocket. Someone who has collected constituency allowance 18 times, once every year since 1999 that he has been in the Senate. Where's all the money or projects worth the sum ?? Wrong choice for middle belt. He belongs to the old corrupt generation we are trying to root out |
David what? Chairman Senate committee on Sleeping. Barnabas Gemade is his assistant and they are both from thesame state! Been a senator since 1999- 18years in the Senate and counting.... After 8 years of hitting the gavel and repeating the ayes have it, no meaningful policy, no single achievement. Fulani went on killing spree in his backyard no single motion moved in the Senate till date. Road to his town is not motorable. While he was in power he flies there in chopper. Almost 70 or thereabout and he wants to be president? I'm in support of a candidate from middle belt but why must it be a recycled consistent failure? |
kocvalour:Yes.... Except this time the zoo is Biafra land. I thought Biafra was an utopian state. Can such happen there? |
FactualSpeech:So why all this stress in the first place?? Leave the curriculum the way it is. Instead of upgrading all outdated syllabuses of 1990s we are busy modifying religious studies and introducing more languages when our students can hardly pass the existing lingua franca. Jonathan or not the church will stand against this sort of policy no matter who is president so the excuse that Jonathan started every bad policy is not tenable. If it was bad why did you implement it? What was the essence of the change we voted for if this administration is bent on continuing every bad policy only to blame it on the last administration? My point? This was a goose chase and they should have considered the consequences before embarking on the needless journey. We have enough languages and we have enough religious studies as it stands. No need to complicate matters. Ministry of education should concentrate on other area requiring their attention. |
mynuel:Savage! |

Fourwinds:If speed limiting device was that important it would have come factory fitted. For commercial vehicles traveling interstate? Yes but wait and see how FRSC will insist that you install speed limit for a vehicle you drive on your street. Too much of regulation is counter productive. Americans use speed detectors rather than have everybody install a speed limiter. So what happens in situations where you need to accelerate to get away from danger. Not a well thought out policy. FRSC thinks they can buy government favour by converting themselves to a revenue generation agency rather than being a government services agency. They even insisted to be the sole distributors initially! Ambode took the right decision by ordering FRSC and VIO to vacate all Lagos state roads. Maybe other states need to follow suit. |
Yinmu.... They have come again with Propaganda No today ice done dey break? It has been breaking before we were here. It will keep breaking after we are long gone. As one breaks another is forming Al Gore must have woken up from his long sleep These climate people are so desperate. Won't be surprised if they actually broke this themselves just to prove a point. The earth is one masterpiece of creation. It is self sustaining and will outlast us all. |
Not sleeping. Just taking a good look at the inside of his eyelids Shikena! |
kokomaster3d:. . . Nnamdi Kanu (IPOB, a Jew?) |
ta4ba3:Zenith is for you sir. Their buildings are square boxes and they build their iron gates to high heavens. I guess your money will be secure their. On the flip side every GTbank building is a unique design and it will be a shame to hide the beauty with a gate. That's how modern business buildings are built. GTbank has strong internal control in place. You hardly hear of robbery there unlike the gated Zenith... And others |
Did they mix the kerosene with petrol? Just wondering how kerosene can be this flammable.. |
