What wall street journal is this? This journal is from the streets of Ajegunle or nothing far. People/someone seat at home, somewhere in Nigeria and write up stories that are unfounded and full of fallacies and put up names of the executives of the real Wall Street Journal. Check for facts before you believe

In a statement released on Wednesday, indiginous Nigerian telcomm satellite television, TSTV, said it has faced severe battle from other operators in the industry for the past 10 months, adding that the company had been fighting off enemies pitched against it.
The Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director, TStv Africa, Bright Echefu, who made the disclosure in the statement, said that since it announced the commencement of its operations on November 1, 2017, the company had been embroiled in different wars.
While appreciating the concerns and prayers of Nigerians, Echefu acknowledged the power of God in winning the battle and announced the formal commencement of its operations starting from August 20, 2018.
He said the fight for survival had affected the company financially and its relationship with subscribers, satellite providers and dealers, adding, “It has not been easy one bit. We were wrestled even down to our satellite providers but our God is ever faithful.”
“I sincerely appreciate all your concerns and prayers for our darling TStv. From the date we announced TStv, it has been fight all the way. I doubt if a week passed without us quenching one fire or the other. We didn’t anticipate that there would be war. We were also not trained to fight in the arena we were pushed into,” he said.
Echefu added, “The kind of weapons our enemies would later contend us with showed they had stocked their armoury waiting for a time like now. We may not have their kind of money, neither their kinds of weapons, ‘connections’ and network but one thing I sure know we had more than them was a determined spirit and a steadfast God.”

"Dear Nigerians,

I sincerely appreciate all your concerns and prayers for our darling TSTV. From the date we announced TSTV, it has been fight all the way. I doubt if a week passed without us quenching one fire or the other. We didn’t anticipate that there would be war. We were also not trained to fight in the arena we were pushed into.
The kinds of weapons our enemies would later contend us with, showed they had stocked their armoury waiting for a time like now. We may not have their kind of money, neither their kinds of weapons, ''connections'' and networks but one thing I sure know we had more than them was a determined spirit and a steadfast God. A God who doesn’t fail.

It has not been easy one bit. Our struggles drained us financially and pitched us against all good meaning Nigerians, subscribers and dealers that believed in us. We were wrestled even down to our satellite providers but our God is ever faithful.

Today 20th of August, 2018, I am happy to inform Nigerians that TSTV is back live and direct but this time under the watch of Abba Father. With our successful acquisition of FIVE units of 35.5MHz transponders last two weeks on Nigcomsat through our collaboration with Intertel, Federal Ministry of Communications and Nigcomsat, TSTV can now offer Nigerians the true meaning of video entertainment. Our TSTV has successfully migrated to Nigeria Communication Satellite. ALL CHANNELS in Full HD. No one does that. More channels are being added daily.

Guess what!!!, TSTV management in appreciation to EVERYONE have decided that 45 TSTV PREMIUM HD CHANNELS will be available for free for another one month as we don't intend to encrypt the channels now. You can use any dish at all, including the ones you are using for other operators to track Nigcomsat today and lets enjoy premium entertainment together.

We are now a True Nigerian Brand and we all should support ours. Kindly monitor our progress by tracking your dish to 42.5oE, Frequency 12589, Symbol Rate: 30,000. Polarization: Horizontal

TSTV + NIGCOMSAT + GOD = Connecting your world that believed in us. We were wrestled even down to our satellite providers but our God is faithful.

PoliticsNigeria May Not Be That Terrible After All. by IBBG(op): 12:26pm On Sep 08, 2018
After watching a documentary on BBC about what is happening in Burma, where the military who are predominantly buddhist are carrying out a genocide on Rohingha muslims with over 700,000 Rhohingas killed, backed by the government of Burma. With millions migrating to neighbouring bangledash because they being driven out of the country by the military. The source of the ethnic cleansing is religion. It forced me into deep thought about why religion that is suppose to be a source of moral compass responsible for elevating our humanity, has turns humans into savage monsters inflicting monstrous evil and wickedness on fellow humans. Infact majority of killings happening over the world today has religious undertone fueling it. And it leaves me with this line of thought; humans existed before religion came into existence. Implying that you and me have more in common as human beings than religion. It means we are more important than religion and any religion without humanity is dead and should be scrapped. It also means at some point we should drop aside our religion and connect with each other at the humanity level because after all, we are all humans and religion only created a dichotomy among us as a means to find enlightenment into the metaphysical. If you have the effrontery and audacity to be willing to take another man's life in the name of religion then you are a monster that has no business being human rather should be given the treatment monsters deserve.
The gory and horrific tale with harrowing pictures as dipicted by the BBC has made me appreciate God for this country. Yes we have our internal issues with corruption, boko haram, fulani herdsmen, ethnic clashes, cultism etc. But these issues pales in comparison to what is happening in Burma. What we take for granted in this country, some countries are even praying to be in our position. Inasmuch i'm deeply disappointed with where this nation is compared to where it would have potential been, i still thank God it is not at the level of Burma.
I won't stop demanding for good governace and criticizing bad governments. I won't stop campaigning for inept and clueless government to be voted out of power, because my allegiance is first to Nigeria, and because thats how this country will get better.
God bless Nigeria.
And God bless you.

Daeylar:
my advice to this guy has been to walk away from this girl.

nope. I don't support mistreatment of both, which is far more than can be said for you.
those girls you're talking about who treated you badly,
face those girls. those girls who offended you. face them and them alone. don't make innocent girls suffer for someone else sins, because you're here complaining about girls using boys, but some how you think it is acceptable for men to use ladies.

she is not emotionally ready does not translate to she wants to be manipulated and treated like trash, how are the 2 even equal to you?

and I ask again, how does a girl saying she isn't emotionally ready for a relationship mean she wants to be manipulated and mistreated. what happened to walking away and acting like a decent human being?

the middle ground is not manipulation and sick games.
i' m not sure you carefully read through what the op posted. The girl said her reason for not being emotional ready is that she wants to be free, to have fun, and she has many male friends. What does that say about what the girl wants. it simply means i want us to just be friends and feel free to hangout without attachments. And i'm also free to hang out with other guys and i don't want you to feel ackward about that because hey! i told you from the onset i'm not ready for a committed relationship or to be your girl friend. The girls excuse is open to different interpretations. One of which is friends with benefits with both of us not dating so that you will not feel entitled. The benefits could be anything ranging from money, sex, company, attention etc.

U seem cold-blooded these days....is it the weather or u just going through a tough/rough patchhuh
Lol. To her only guys deserve the short end of the stick, or should be on the recieving end of things. When the reverse is the case men are now trash. meanwhile the girl the op is talking about doesn't want to be hooked. her reasons being she wants to be free, and she wants to fun. What does that say about the kind of guys she really wants to roll with? your guess is as good as mine. From all indication the girl has made it subtly clear the kind relationship she is likely open to, is either the op shape up, notice it and give it to her or simply walk away and look for someone else based on what he wants as well.

Daeylar:
yes this is how you handle these kind of girls. playing with their minds, emotions and feelings, using them for fun, instead of just acting like a decent human being, respecting her opinion and walking away,

instead you want to toy with her feelings, manipulate her and treat her like trash and what is her offence?
she dared to day she wasn't emotionally ready for a relationship, just because when a girl says she isn't ready for a relationship you think it is acceptable to prey on her and use her for fun.

disgusting

later I'm sure if one girl says men are trash you'll jump out and say not all men,

nonsense.

I hope their aren't still girls falling for this manipulative nonsense?

please, ladies if you have a guy that wants to try this rubbish on you, cut the MF off and pretend like he never existed.(even if they come back begging, or start harassing you, na their way, ignore like they don't exist. ) then move on to look for better men to give your time to.

don't waste your time on manipulative fuxkboys like this one below.
lol. why are you crying more than the berieved. so it is only guys that is good to be friendzone and be recieving the short end of the stick. When the same is being dished out to girls, you cry fowl play. For your information most guys became what you claim "fuxtboys", because when they were the good, nice guys, full of emotion and love for the girl they were crushing on, how did the girl repay them? instead the girls repayed them by calling them weak, boring, no swags, not fun to be with and taking them for granted. At the same time falling head and shoulders, drooling for the so called "fuxtboys". Since birds have learnt to fly without perching, the hunters have decided to learn how to shoot without missing. Morever what the girl the op is talking about is looking for is what you termed "fuxtboy". She doesn't want to be hooked, she wants to be free and have fun. So who falls into this category? your guess is as good as mine. So it is simple, the guy can decide to give her what she wants or cut her off completely based on what he wants. There is nothing wrong in what the girl wants, and there is nothing wrong in what the guy wants. The only difference is trying to reach a middle ground between the both of them based on their expectations.

I didn't mean you giving her space asin shrinking away from her... I meant you giving her space asin stop talking about relationship with her.

Just be her friend, try to be someone she can lean on. Make yourself her confidante. Don't shower her with unnecessary gifts( most sensible ladies don't like that.)
When you see her hanging out with her male friends on campus, say hi to her and them with a friendly face and smile.

When you call her, ask about the welfare of her friends. Remind her she can talk to you about anything and everything. Let her know you're not gonna hinder her friendship with anyone since no one hindered yours with hers(Ladies love to hear that?

Get her to talk about her padt relationships with you, if there's any. Just talk, talk, talk with her. Kissing happens during the course of talking and so many other things follow.

It's not really that hard, buddy.
no offence intended to the person i'm quoting, but baba if you do what this person is saying she go friendzone you o. she will never take you serious at all. she will only see you as one of those admirers she can use or on her beck and call. From what you have written, what i can deduce is that she doesn't want a committed relationship just yet. she wants to be free to explore her fantasies without being caged in a relationship, atleast not yet, while she has the opportunities. And from all indication you seem to her like someone who will be monitoring and policing her if she gives in to you in the name of love and it will be choking and irritating for her. how it works out between the both of you depends on what you want. If you are desperate for something serious then cut her off. But if you are open to just having fun then play along with her, and don't ask her out again. just start acting like she is already your girl friend when she is around you. But when she leaves your side just ignore her totally by allowing only her to be the one calling or chatting you up. Even when she complains about it don't change. otherwise she will friendzone you. Act cozy, friendly, romantic when she is around, but when she is not with you just ignore her completely. And watch how the tide will change in your favour. Thats how you handle this kind of girls.

hahahahahahaha. chai ayade is terrible. he is from my local govt but i pray he loses. he is totally embarrassing the good sons and daughters of obudu with his ineptitude as governor. He has allowed all the tourist destination in the state to decay by deliberately ignoring them. The streets of calabar are now dirty, water board is comatose, streets light not functioning well, scrapped christmas festival at the stadium, stopped obudu mountain race, destroyed the road linking nothern cross river in the name of dualizing it and has left it that way since and it is now an eye sore and has made commutting a harrowing experience in nothern cross river, cultism is now on the rise in the state. He has not constructed nor completed any single major road in cross river. He is a total dissapointment to cross riverians. He has torn and trashed the blue print this state adopted right from 1999 which is to become the tourism hotspot of subsaharan africa with good infrastruture, clean and pristine environment where business and leisure meet. The blue print was that whenever tourism is mentioned any where in sub saharan africa cross river state is mentioned first as the destination of choice. But right now i feel embarrass to even refer to cross river state as a tourist destination because our governor has abandon and allow the infrastructure in the state to decay. Gallivanting and frolicking over seas signing multiples of empty MOU that is not bearing fruit.
If he had concentrated alone on actualizing the deep sea port and super highway while still maintaining and sustaining the infrastructure that was handed to him, he would have been the best performing governor. But he loves so much sycophancy and playing to the gallery with no substance. I believed so much in him when he won because i thought he will take cross river state a gear higher than his predecessors based on his rhetorics. But he has been a massive disappointment that has no business being the governor of cross river state

Nuzo1:
Singapore is 70% Chinese. The rest are Malays and Indians. Fact.

Singapore was rejected and expelled from Malaysia. Mostly because the Malays thought they were going to be a clog the wheel of Malaysian development. Singaporeans were so poor, dirty and uneducated. Fact.

The rest of the things you said here does not exist. I am restrained to call you a liar because you just may sincerely think you are right.

Singapore, like most south east Asian countries couldn't have gotten any financial or political support from China when for years China shut its doors to the world in the name of cultural revolution. This was the time Mao Zedong held sway. No money, little education and retrogressive communist policies. This was the worst time for the chinese. The communist Chinese government were only using their little money to sponsor communist parties in all of Asia.

The democratic and progrssive Singaporean government led by Lee Kuan Yew never saw eye to eye with Mao's communist China who did everything possible to overthrow the PAP party. So, how could Mao invest in a country he hates? Remember, Singapore had a good rapport and struggle with Taiwan. An abomination to the chinese.

Matter of fact, Singapore was called upon to assist China with some economic, financial, technological and social policies/support as soon as Deng Xiaoping took over from Mao and the famous four. This call produced produced one of the biggest tech hubs in Asia. As we speak, Singapore is the largest foreign investors in mainland china.

Now, let me give you a little idea of how Singapore developed.

1. Their leaders mapped out sound policies with focus and deadlines.

2. Their leaders had the political will to implement these sound policies.

3. Though they had different races and tribes; their leaders tried to expunge nepotism and corruption. Change began with the Lee kuan Yew's cabinet...not with the masses.

4. The Singaporeans saw the honesty in the leadership of their country, and thereby gave their full support to whatever will move the country forward.

5. Singapore was hugely financed by the Americans as they were training and using Singaporeans to service their war equipments that were used in Vietnam war. It was expensive to fly these equipments back to USA for servicing. This is why Singapore later became a leader in service industry. Ships, aircrafts etc.

6. Singapore also received a lot of loans from the Americans in compensation of allowing them use their land and waters for launching their aircrafts during the war.

Nigeria also received loans and aids from U.K.and USA at the same time with Singapore, SK, Taiwan and HK, but what did they do with it? They squandered it. They had and most still have no morals and no drop of political will.

Singapore was rated lower than DR congo in the 60s.
But today, Singapore is the 3rd largest exporter of refined crude after USA and Norway. Please, note that Singapore has no single drop of crude oil in their land.

So, for how long are we going to keep make excuses for Nigeria? I even hear people talk about how tribes are the problem...and I laugh so hard. Do you know how many tribes Indonesia has? Singapore has many tribes too, but most baffling is that they have about 3 different races. That is worst to keep together than tribes who just look alike but may speak a little different languages.

It was character that was enforced by equal and efficient justice system that developed Singapore and any other developed nation you see today. China didn't develop it for them.

Matter of fact, Singapore developed China.
why are you wasting your time educating someone who is incorrigible ignorant and is pompously pontificating his emptiness online. He is clearly benefitting from those raping this nation.

Stop making excuses for Nigeria's failure. The same brain God gave Singaporeans is the same brain he gave Nigerians. The difference is that the Nigerian has refused to use his brain. You people keep supporting politicians who cannot differentiate their left hand from their right all because they are from your tribe and/or religion.

You know fully well that Nigerians don't see each other as one people yet many of you have blatantly refused to restructure or downright split the country so everyone can move on.

Nigeria has no excuse to be the shithole third world country that she has become. The average Nigerian is not intelligent that is why you people keep repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results.

Nigerians know what need to be done to move the country forward but many Nigerians are too complacent. Most Nigerians are too selfish. As long as they and their immediate family members are comfortable, everyone else can go to hell. As long as they are living in their big mansions with walls as high as the wall of Jericho with soldiers and policemen safe guarding their homes and families, they can care less if the country goes up in flames.

Nigeria will never be like Singapore or other developed countries because most Nigerians lack the passion, intelligence, selflessness and will power to move their country forward. They are content living off the breadcrumbs that the political elite throw at them while they sing their praises on social media including Nairaland and wallow in extreme poverty.
A very intelligent summation about the citizens of nigeria.
