The simple fundamental applying to our market is this
An economy of vast number of high-end consumers that produces nothing of value anchored on a single natural resource (crude oil) which is now facing existential competition from alternative products.
The night will be long.
Shebi we are too scared to revolt and institute good responsive governance in our country. Well well the wahala is coming to our doorstep now. |

waternogetemeny: Iwuanyanu asked and we are telling him no and in 2019 that No will be supported by bombs and gun shots. Igbos have no king and no single individual can decide for us niot on 2019 igbo Presidency. Okorocha and Amaechi represent igbo consciousness that cannot even wait for GEJ to complete his tenure so wat makes u think the rest of us that have been patient with GEJ and even voted GEJ will be willing to wait pass 2019? This is all political talk to clear the path for GEJ, the north can wait till 2027. Igbos are not waiting. Unruly unstructured village people! Presidency of Nigeria or Biafra? I think Biafra. |

Jonathan is sorrounded by the IGBOs.
Obviously money will disappear. The positive though is that a lot of the money end up in Lagos - EKo AKete.
When the time comes ........ we shall tell them to vacate the properties they have used our commonwealth to buy and build in Lagos
Their properties in Lagos will become a 'no-man's properties' |

Federal Power show.
Has a lot to do with the coming election and the PDP / APC dogma.
The enemy within (the Igbos) have a hand in this.
HOWEVER my best governor by a long shot, you have spoken and your word is power! but asking people not to cooperate with authority in a large city like Lagos is ........somewhat low and regrettable.
So who are these people in black? |

AlienSPY: What other security do he need when he is riding in over 120million naira bullet proof vehicle courtesy of Niger Delta oil. Can this useless sadistic nomad be able to afford that vehicle rearing cattle for 2 decades? Mr Man, there is a very high probability that Nigeria could have been a much better country with better citizens and governance without Niger Delta oil. We probably could have been exporting cattle to the rest of the world and earning enough for individual farmers and cattle rearers to drive the same car. Oil made us lazy and gave us the desire to be rich without doing anything. |

Politics › Re: OBJ Visits IBB, Hugs Atiku At Airport by ibedun: 9:49pm On Nov 04, 2014 |
Guseh: Former president Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday visited former military president, Ibrahim Babangida, who just returned from a two month medical treatment in Germany. Obasanjo also met with his estranged deputy, Atiku Abubakar, at the Minna International Airport where the two leaders buried their differences and hugged each other. The Nation gathered that Obasanjo was in Minna to visit the recuperating Babangida, while Atiku who had visited the former military president was in the town to attend the presidential declaration of Sam Nda-Isaiah of All Progressive Congress (APC). Obasanjo, who arrived in a plane with registration number – GDOUR along with Senator Andy Uba, Chief Ayo Fashawe and a unidentified lady at about 4:30pm was about to be conveyed to Babangida’s house when his attention was drawn to the presence of Atiku at the airport. The former vice president who was already seated, awaiting clearance for his flight, stopped the pilot, alighted and headed straight to the car ferrying Obasanjo out of the airport and the two leaders hugged each other. A black BMW car with registration number – ABJ 01 RJ then took Obasanjo to the uphill residence of the former military president in company of Mohammed Babangida. BuddahMonk: My grouse with all these people saying religion should not be mixed with politics, lets be sincere to ourselves Muslims can never allow a Christian rule them, we saw what happened to Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State. Muslims are the most wicked people in the world and depending the people that are practising sometimes. Nigeria muslims esp the north are devilish, hatefilled, vindictive, arrogant and violent, i dnt know whether those of SW have started towing the same path since the emergence of APC. APC have really done great damages to the Nigeria community, they have succceded in not just fragmenting but dividing this country along not just religious lines but along tribal strife. Look at Goodluck likely to win another term and rule us for another 4years of heart thumping and adrenaline rushing citizens just because APC failed woefully yo address the relevant issues instead of having internet warrriors who go about propagating hate speechs and promoting a violent orientated society. Smdh Go and feed your people, in your state with your Jona propaganda. Lagos is the city of excellence despite all the horrible challenges from the "apa-po" government |
Politics › Re: ‘We Want Christian Governor In Lagos’ by ibedun: 1:42pm On Nov 03, 2014 |
BuddahMonk: Am just coming back from Yabatech now, all the heavyweight guber contenders are Muslims and they are all in APC. Yorobass from the far-flunged of Osun, Oyo,Ogun have succeded in relegating the indegenes to the backyard of political relavance in their own state. They wanted to use the opportunity to corner lagos diring the Confab but Lagos delegates rejected them and all their evil plans. Omo Igbo please mind the guber contenders in the SE please. This matter is serious and between the SW people. Any Yoruba man from anywhere can be become a governor of any Yoruba state if he plays his card right. States are administrative outposts only- got it? |

I am a so called "Christian" according to my parents but I like to see good governance instead of further polarising ourselves based on religions that have absolutely nothing to do with our history as a people. |

youngeagle: that's only bariga,go to ipaja, okota, orile, alaba,u will cry for lagos,a white guy that came to lagos last month posted a pics tags lagos is the worst place to be in Africa, lagos is lagos because of its past glory. You see .... This is the result of allowing uncontrolled and unmitigated immigration into your territory. Igbos running away from their father land and congregating into Yoruba land in their millions have resulted in the increasing number of slums in our peaceful, sweet Yoruba land. Allowing vermins from the east to multiply without checking them. We yorubas better face this challenge head on otherwise, poverty striken, landless, bitter Igbo people will continue to join the Young shall grow buses heading into our ancestral land. |
