princechurchill:No, Federal Govt killed Don Wanney |
princechurchill:Pulling out the redundant CSO card are we? Any big man can make trouble for any CSO, especially with Federal Might behind him like Wike did in 2014/15. By the same token, who has been the CSO these last 2 years when these 32 cultists have been disrupting the state? |
Nihilist:Give us Man City chances conceded through the centre. City is conceding less chances this season through every area, so to isolate the flanks is redundant. The centre would have the same percentage drop-off as the flanks. Also how much of opponents possession this season is in Man City final third vs last season? These are the stats that would tell the story. |
princechurchill:In run up to elections in 2014, Don Wanny was killing people on behalf of Wike and Felix Obuah, yes. |
elrony:No mind that Apari. Conte won EPL with clapped-out squad that Pep said needed 11 new players to challenge. Because they fire the budget of an African country at Pep now, Apari has suddenly found his voice. |
raumdeuter:Stones and Otamendi remain two of the worst centre-backs in the prem. Stop peppering my timeline with bullshyt. Transfer those 2 players to any other team and they will lose their place to any defender at Spurs, Manure, Chelsea etc. Those players are only keeping clean sheet because City opponents are not seeing the ball. I have told you that DeBruyne to midfield is the main change for City this season, not because Fabian Delph is close to Kolarov in anything. It's the same reason that rubbish defenders like Rafa Marquez, Mascherano and Edmilson would be claiming top defender at Barca. Let those defenders face the same volume of attacks as their counterparts and you will see Otamendi dancing one-corner. This is the same rubbish that made you rate Boateng as a top defender cos his team are keeping 80% possession, there is little or no defending to do. |
Nihilist: ![]() My nigga no send. I was perusing Nairaland frontpage the other day, and I stumbled across oga Funlord spreading his message far and wide.

nateevs:This is false. Chelsea will never sign 3 year contract only on a player that cost so much. It will be 5 year contract. |
Which kain nonsense be this na. Mahrez my god |
raumdeuter:Chelsea turnover is less than Arsenal and £60m less than City and nearly £200m less than Manure. This is despite Chelsea turnover being boosted by £100m+ of player sales which the Manchester clubs do not use to bolster their revenue. Lets say the Manchester clubs are able to spend £200m in net transfers per season more than Chelsea, how.will that translate to quality on the pitch? That's why they can close eye and sign Alexis without thinking, while we are pricing Barkley. |
nateevs:True, but there are always ways round FFP like PSG getting their state owned company to pay £400m for sponsorship. City did something similar. Roman can easily do a similar wuruwuru through one of his associates to get cash for transfers if he really had the cash or the appetite. Roman was already baulking at new investment from 2007-2012 before FFP, it is not now he will suddenly develop the appetite. In those days from 2007-12, we get one transfer a season for £15m like Malouda one year, Zhirkov the next etc |
airmark:He has done exactly what backup strikers do which is produce about 10 goals a season. Take any performing striker and put em on the bench, whether Alcacer, Remy, Demba Ba, Llorente or whoever, and this is the most you would get out of them. Come kill the guy confidence by playing Hazard as 9 and this is what you would get. This is why I'm a proponent of your back-up striker also being a starting winger just like Anelka. So when you need to slot him in to the no9 position, he is already in match rhythm. This is why I wanted players like Bertrand Traore to be promoted at Chelsea cos he's a back-up striker that would also get game time on the wings. |
Greatihex:Can you produce 1/10th of what you are worth in cash to pursue a hobby overnight? Roman is worth $10bln, most of which is tied up in companies as assets/shares, not cash. He's got a £1bln commitment for new stadium plus a pending divorce that could hit him for a couple billion. In order to start competing on this level, Roman will have to start producing £200m in cash from his pocket every season which is nigh on impossible. Is the Chelsea hobby worth 1/10th of Romans life? He has already produced £1bln for Chelsea over the years. In addition, you have to remember that Roman sold his oil assets before the oil boom and bought steel assets just before steel crashed. His net worth has dropped $8bln from these poor business decisions in the intervening years. He was once worth $18bln, now just $10bln. |
I atill reckon Batsuayi is a decent back-up striker. He has been through a lot to dent his confidence. Conte has not liked him from day one, for matters not entirely related to football. |
Ontop all the ambulance signs on Nihilist team, Coutinho done jump ship ontop. |
EarthXmetahuman:Nothing to do with that. Chelsea are now paupers in football and it's high time we accept it. Where Roman could afford £30m 10 times over for the Hazards in 2012, the Hazards of these days (Mbappe, Dembele) each cost £150m. Roman can't play in that league. |
PietroRico:On behalf of Chelsea fans, we reject him. Maybe Gunners will accept him. |
Mentions:Should we write the same nonsense about you next time you criticise any footballer? Afterall any footballer you criticise can also feed your generations plus ancestors. |
raumdeuter:He still signed Hector, Djilobolodji, Cuadrado and Batsman after that. 2012-13 he had ultimate power while in 2014-17, he had to make more concessions. We are paid to know these things just like you are paid to know that Ancelotti signed Tolisso and James, while Kimmich and Sanches came from Hoeness and Rudiger.
|
raumdeuter:Was actually an Emenalo signing. |
Ho my God. Bakayoko is literally the worst player to ever play for Chelsea |
We can't get this ball out of midfield |
Kenedy only problem can be those tattoos on his head signifying attitude prpblem. . . cos he plays decently everytime I see him. |
afrodoc2:Tickle me, tickle me, tickle me, o butterfly. Alex O was just a popstar, Alex Zitto was ultra talented. |
Mason Holgate SMH. This is why you should go to school. So when a Portuguese person calls you loco filho da puta, you will not accuse the person of racism and make yourself look like a dumbo. |
pamcode:For the bank account it is |
Creatrixity:That's Alex O rap. If you are 32+, you should know that rap. The whole of Naija knew that rap in early 90s. |
afrodoc2:It takes some time to bubble and shuffle/ After all the hustle and bustle/ Everybody want celebrate/ But nobody just want talk him age/ If you just go ask a Lagos mama say/ How many years she dey celebrate/ She go hala and hala and shout back at you say/ Na wetin be your business?/ I fit celebrate 21 today be say/ Last time na 22/ The next one fit be 20/ So just bubble and shuffle. . . and forget about my age/ |
Lingard done dey score Rivaldo-esque screamers this last year. |
That Cenk Tosun wey Everton just sign looks quite handy. The guy plays just like Belotti. Good protection of his ball, able to switch it from foot to foot to throw a marker off, uses his body well, and he plays with fire in his belly. |
Tor! |
