As I always say, count your drum snares. 4 drum snares make 1 bar so aim to finish your end rhymes on the 4th drum snare. Thís should prevent any fall offs in flow.

Snoop Dogg showed best the process of counting bars:

1 to the 2 to the 3 to the 4/
Snoop Döggy Dog and Dr Dre is at the door/

Your 1,2,3,4 makes your bar. End all your rhymes on the 4.

One you follow thís pattern, natural progression should take it's course. Also listen to emcees who use thís repetitive formulaic pattern like AZ, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace etc.

When you've mastered that, you can start in-rhymes.

With in-rhymes you could look for the 2nd and 8th drum snare.
