You grew up at where my secondary school is located. That's DEI for you. Use your head Nobody was going to Comprehensive nigga, only the lowest in society. I come to your school to play football not to study under leaking roofs or classrooms with no roof. . You went to a shitty State school, you couldn't pass Federal Common entrance or make it to even Ompadec or UDSS even if you couldn't afford private school fees? Navy Secondary School is right next to Comprehensive, you couldn't even get in there. Ok let's assume your shitty secondary school is not your fault, maybe there were economic challenges. You couldn't make 180 points to get to Uniport? You still went to the worst university in Rivers State You are below average, a real DEI nigga by every measure |

Mad man, Simeone, used him as striker to score goals that your wasteful Jackson wouldn't have scored yesterday, and got the 3 maximum points off Leverkusen. How many league goals he got this season? Weak strikers that you can't play ball into are bot my cup of tea. They put too much defensive pressure on the team. |

She was hired based on her degrees at Princeton, Stanford and PHD at Harvard where it was later found part of their PHD thesis was plagiarised and she resigned like any decent person would, unlike Magats who will get caught in abominable atrocities and start gaslighting. bemeruca: Everyone has opportunities. Putting Gay as head of Harvard because of her skin color is DEI. The scandals spoke for itself Gay went to Princeton. Stanford and finished with a PhD at Harvard so how is that DEI? You don't even know what DEI is Recently I got tired of travelling cross country almost daily for my job. I said let me throw few applications. One job I applied for was a blind application, they couldn't even see my name, they could only judge my answers in order to whittle down candidates. That was refreshing. Mind you both my first name and surname are English as a typical Ijaw man. I heard these blind applications are increasing in uptake, and all partly as a result of all these equal opportunity acts. I have been out of the job market for over 12 years as I only get promotions within the same company so I don't know what's happening in other companies, it was refreshing You that your name is Owei Owubokiri Ayapripri Wariboko, how you want manage if hiring manager see your name on application. The better striker is on 6 league goals.
Jackson only plays league matches, let’s even add champions league for Alvarez.
Alvarez after 1,800 minutes of both ucl and league: 12 goals
Jackson after 1,636 minutes of league football only: 9 goals.
Maresca must start benching Nkunku, so that jackson will use conference league to statpad. Alvarez is not even a striker Only a mad man will like every ball played to his no9 to immediately bounce back into midfield after defenders bully the striker |

Unlimited22: How do you défend signing an EO that repeals one that ended legal discrimination in the hiring process?
How? Ha.
Especially as a black person.
Na WA for una. These 3 posts from another thread sum up my thoughts on the matter, one being mine. My disappointment is in erstwhile reasonable people that let 4 years of far-right social media programming work on their brain. I have seen radicalisation many a time and it's always a sad sight. Thank God some of us were mature and know our left from right from centre before the coming of social media age Forkthiefnubu: The whites instituted more than 400 years of slavery but can’t bear 50yr years of DEI , what have Trump ever gotten on merit in his life ? He inherited his money Omotaday: I call your kind a victim of right-wing propaganda.
They realised that people of colour are rising and taking positions once deemed too technical or exclusive—positions traditionally reserved for white individuals. So, they crafted a narrative, to white people, they claim that is anti-white. To Black people, they push the idea that DEI is anti-meritocracy, hoping to make you feel ashamed of earning what’s rightfully yours or taking a seat at the table.
Surely, It’s very unsettling for them having people like Okonjo-Iweala (the first African and woman to lead the WTO), Mohamed Kande (the first Black man to lead one of the Big Four accounting firms), and General Charles Q. Brown, Jr. (the first Black man to hold the highest-ranking military position in the U.S. with over 130 hours of combat flight time) challenges their narrative, add to that the many Indian executives leading top tech companies.
Do you know a research was done that when job applications from various backgrounds were submitted with names visible, white applicants had a significantly higher chance of getting hired. However during DEI initiative, when names were removed from CVs, the probability of the offer going to a white person reduced significantly. What does that tell you? Ibime: America has always had Affirmative Action (DEI of those days) and hundreds of thousands of middle class black Americans are the products of the capital that brought into their communities. Throwing out hundreds of thousands of families overnight creates an economic tsunami in the community, impacts children of those breadwinners decades into the future and has an economic impact which can be likened to burning down Black Wall Street
It has always been the case in America that blacks flee to Northern cities (New York. Detroit, Boston) etc to find work after being economically locked out in the South, and the party of the South (Republican) is in power implementing the same economic approach they have always taken toward black people.
In life, you don't have to be the smartest, you just need capital and opportunity. If affirmative action, DEI or whatever you call it provide that opportunity for us, that is a net positive and you will be stüpid to think otherwise in the name of "merit".
Using an analogy from "Things fall apart", if you look at Nigeria now, the most successful Nigerian families are those who engaged with the white colonisers during colonialism, serving as Clerks and Administrative assistants. They were not necessarily the smartest or most diligent in the village. It was the likes of Okonkwo that were the smartest, strongest and most diligent. But the opportunity that working with the Colonialists provided them means their descendants are now miles ahead (smarter, more intelligent and wealthier) than the Okonkwos that were forming strong head. By merit Okonkwos descendants are supposed to be the most successful, since Okonkwo was the strongest and most diligent man in the village. This should tell you that opportunity trumps merit.
Anyone killing opportunity to black men, even to the average amongst us is an enemy. And it's not like DEI hires are the dumbest amongst us, they still went to school to be able to get those jobs, and their children will do even better like the sons of those colonial clerks who are now the big men of our society. |

You are an eediot, just commenting ignorantly since. Stop embarrassing your gender Blacks support democrats because they pushed through the civil rights acts. Blacks don't support Republicans because they are the party of the South, Willie Lynch and co With your IQ of 70, you just sit dey tell a whole race as if they don't know who did what for them Before you mention a Republican ending slavery, just know demographics have shifted from 200 years ago. This is about North and South. Blacks love the North and it's people because that is where they ran for freedom and jobs, and South enslaved them Now check electoral map and tell me which party controls North and which party controls South. |

smokinloud: Trump's decision scrapping DEI initiatives doesn't necessarily mean that blacks will be let out or disadvantaged. The idea is to promote equity and inclusivity without compromising Western values.
Scrapping DEI doesn't equate to dismissing diversity and inclusion altogether. Instead, it's about re-evaluating how these initiatives are implemented to ensure they align with Western values and promote genuine equity.
It's possible to achieve equity and inclusivity without embracing anti-West values in the name of multiculturalism and DEI. This might involve adopting alternative approaches, such as the "When in Rome" model, which adheres to local norms and laws, or the "Embassy" model, which focuses on internal DEI policies without pushing for broader societal change.
Ultimately, the goal is to create a fair and inclusive environment that respects Western values and promotes genuine equity for all. You are clueless. So what's his business with persecuting private companies who want to provide opportunities to minorities? That should tell you his real intention. America has always had Affirmative Action (DEI of those days) and hundreds of thousands of middle class black Americans are the products of the capital that brought into their communities. Throwing out hundreds of thousands of families overnight creates an economic tsunami in the community, impacts children of those breadwinners decades into the future and has an economic impact which can be likened to burning down Black Wall Street It has always been the case in America that blacks flee to Northern cities (New York. Amalekki: I look at the big picture not from DEI lens. DEI wins tiny battles not the war. Your type of reaction is why I love this Trump development. A wake up call. You mean like the Big War like using legal means to threaten companies not to hire minorities? What is Govt business who private companies want to hire? Sorry to say, you are stüpid. The big picture is tens of thousands of black families will no longer be able to afford to advance the next generation and pay for college degrees etc. That is the big picture. Mr. Trump is also directing the attorney general to create a plan to deter the private sector from adopting or continuing DEI programs.
"As a part of this plan, each agency shall identify up to nine potential civil compliance investigations of publicly traded corporations, large non-profit corporations or associations, foundations with assets of 500 million dollars or more, State and local bar and medical associations, and institutions of higher education with endowments over 1 billion dollars," Tuesday's order read. |

GloriousGbola: What is funnier is that diversity drives business growth because it means there are different perspectives coming to the table. Your white boys surrounded by more white boys means echo chamber. I don't actually care about whether a company is diverse or not What is pernicious is that he is getting Federal Agencies to investigate and sue PRIVATE companies to strongarm them to stop giving opportunities to minorities This is white power and LEGISLATED racism. You can do what you want with your employees, don't bully me and threaten me with full force of law if I want to give opportunities with my private employees that I pay for. Again, this is against the tenets of Conservative values of Govt keeping out of private business, same as his position on USA Govt owning half of Tiktok which is a Communist position. |

Trump's final 4 years will set the tone for a proper reawakening. No more blind followership and silly grand-standing. You want to ride on the back of black and other minority voters then you need to be crystal clear with your agenda. No more easy votes for anybody, message was loud and clear in November 2024, and will be louder in 2028. So both major parties should take note.
On Trump, Baba just scatter and break every breakable table. Back to the drawing board in 2028. What nonsense are you yarning? So blacks who got jobs under DEI and are now jobless now need proof of who is for them and who is against them? You are the real blind follower |
