My thesis (and it's only a thesis) is that Trump wants to engineer a small crash to bring down interest rates Serves the purpose of achieving lower rates on USA $9 trillion debt due for refinancing later this year. At current yields circa 4.5%, thats $400bln in interest payments alone which could be cut in half by lowering interest rates, but requires a crash to do so It also suits he and his cronies personal agenda of gaming the markets (shorting and longing on insider info) everytime he makes unpredictable trade policy statements which they have been doing wotoporiously on Crypto which is beyond SEC oversight. In addition, there is little upside for them buying assets at these prices, a pullback will suit them fine. They have used crypto manipulations to raise capital (which should be approaching $1bln gained by now) and it's time to invest for generational gains at a good entry. if my hunch is correct, which is only a thesis, a good strategy would be to keep powder dry and buy assets as soon as we get firmer messaging on deep interest rates cuts, or as soon as there is a black swan event, as cuts will surely follow. Keeping powder dry means your money on exchanges in dollar form. Every asset will go up from there. Tech sector for stocks and Crypto (Solana in particular) will have the biggest Delta from any crash. If you are in property, buy and lock away your interest rate for a long time.
