Baba, these are honest questions without agenda for me. I dont trust anything that comes out of NNPCL, they have misrepresented facts too many times and now we are having to rely on outside sources including locals to know the true state of the refineries.

Old refinery is running at 60% capacity and producing some fuels according to his colleagues on ground. At the end he said what would impress him is if the catalytic reforming unit was brought into operation. That is the Koko of refining - the process of turning naphtha into PMS. At the moment they are bringing in cracked C4 which has already been through a catalytic reforming process elsewhere. In essence, PMS production is the holy grail of a refinery. Even a common bunkerer can produce diesel and kerosene.
