That's what I expected too. This their flight don even tire person. They should leave it till 2031 so the guy can govern. As it stands, nothing is happening in the state. Maybe that will change with the budget they just passed.
As Jimmy Henchmen once said to 2Pac after arranging his shooting at Quad studio - "you ain't got ya money right so you can't go to war with me"

2Pac replied 2 years later on Against all odds - "You said don't go to war unless I got my money right. Now I got my money right, I want war"

Basically Rivers money will start going to Simi war chest. War is very expensive and developments will slow down. He basically needs to buy out Wike whole grassroots structure with financial incentives, from thugs to LGA to delegates to house to Judiciary to Godfathers. You can't fight Wike with bare hands.

He is nothing but a mumu man.
He is actually moaning about Tinubus support for Wike if you read between the lines, because he is blaming Tinubu for the fracas in Rivers State (by supporting Wike)

Ijaw nationalism has got to him. At first he was saying that Wike and Fubara beef no concern am because he is not party to their agreement

Right now Ijaw people dey para for Wike and slowly it is making Ijaw henchmen in Wike camp to position themselves carefully

dont you think tinubu will sit this one out with hands akimbo trying to see how much power wike wields ? he might give them{fubara and wike} level playing ground by been neutral and watching how event unfolds..

many people are keenly watching how ths will go down..

but one thing is sure, there is no making up between this 2 as the level of damage and fall out is far unprecedented
Tinubu will back the winner, but whatever happens they cannot be allowed to cause chaos in Rivers State where a good portion of the countries revenue comes from

Wickes head is too hot. He was told to wait till next election and remove Fubara in the primaries but him nyash dey scratch am

Prior to now, I thought 💭 been a nobody before wike made him gorvernor will make him bend his ass over for wike to be fuckin him recklessly

I have seen he is as hardened as he comes and I like people who holds their own when it comes to a fight even if they later loose..
Fubara is following Amaechi playbook. Amaechi closed courts in Rivers for 2 years so there won't be judgement against him

E be like say Wike no wan officially leave PDP so he wan dey colonize the 2 parties for Rivers, If PDP National no expel am they are not a serious party

Cos all dem Magnus Abe, Amaechi, Dakuku, This Sahara energy owner are almost political orphans now. All those if aligned with Fubara will give Wike a run for his money
Wike vs Fubara is a fight Fubara can't win because Fubara does not have the grassroots, the structure, the LGA Chairmen nor the House. Even Fubara does not know how he won the last election. And just as importantly FG is fully.behind Wike. There is a reason Rivers APC Executive committee was disbanded and replaced with an interim committee. It is so as to take APC Rivers Structure away from Amaechi and give it to Wike. Tinubu has defenestrated Amaechi and crowned Wike as pointman of APC in Rivers State so all tools of "Federal Mighty" are behind Wike from Security Services to Judiciary to money.

Amaechi and Dakuku are the same structure, and Magnus Abe does not even see eye to eye with Amaechi to work together, and even then it's a moot point.

Fubara is cornered and trapped from grassroots and FG, and can only play the ethnic card, among which the main Wardlords in his tribe are not even behind him. Any attempt to fight a losing battle will only lead to civil conflict and bloodshed in Rivers State. . . . but the outcome is already predetermined. The only trick Fubara can pull out of the hat is to go work a deal with Peter Odili to get a favourable judicial outcome like Amaechi did against Omehia at a cost of $10m, but I'm sure Wike has got there first.

Linda ikeji is a perfect example of this. Woman was rising slow and steady then in 2015 she became a billionaire. I think it somehow tied into the elections but I don't know how.

She went from black gate to banana island.
And now we are cursed with her copycats with even less restraint who are trying to put lightning in a bottle.
Linda collected shege advertising money in 2015 elections na. She bought N800m place in Banana immediately after

Seún saw that and changed his policy of not doing political advertising grin grin grin

What is usually responsible for this is story of people like Chief Ebuka who don't tell their stories in full; they withhold key details when telling their story.

If u don't know about the Okoko guy's GEJ connection, u too will most likely think the guy came home, sold his technical know-how to the government and made billions off it.
Some actually went to work for him, he invited them, but when they got there, Naija factor entered. Friend turned to boss and they couldn't relate the same way again

You can also blame Duncan Mighty for adding his name in the Port Harcourt boy song. That thing ginger PH boys to try their luck well well.

I actually know someone with same trajectory, started with laptops but ended with money exchange and crypto

However I don't believe in selling false dreams because it's very rare. In Nigeria we tend to hold up one guy, a 0.1% occurrence that hammered and the other 99% will rush in and get themselves wrecked chasing that one example, when they had other options with more certainty but less upside

A good example was in the late 2000s, one of our seniors (Keniebi Okoko) went back home and became a billionaire almost overnight thanks to his relationship with GEJ. Many other guys in my circle here in UK who had decent careers rushed home to chase the same goldrush but 80% of them returned with tails tucked, one even lost his house after falling behind on payments. Some carried on chasing the dream till date but are at disadvantage to where they would have been if they just stayed the course.

Back to the original question, life is a game of chances. If you have N20m, your most reasonable investment is Japa because within 2 or 3 years, you will make that money back depending on your Japa reason

That doesn't mean there isn't a 0.1% of people that could flip that money into stratosphere, but are you willing to roll that dice?

Life is a game of chances and it is prudent to always take the one with the most certainty of reasonable return.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ibime(m): 2:26pm On Dec 11, 2023
Let's look at it this way

If you wholesale 8,000 laptops at N50k profit a piece, that's your N400m

So the question should be, is it possible for someone to get a plug that would allow them wholesale that over 8 years - average of 1,000 laptops a year? With of course most of the sales weighted toward the later years

I no dey doubt anything again however unrealistic it may be.

My reasoning was that money exchange/crypto would have to be involved in such exponential growth, but few Igbo boys have still done it outside those areas from nothing.

Huh? From Akpajo to Trailer Park to Onne and parts of the Ogoni axis were and are bad.

Except you accessed the road from the roads veering off it after these areas. From then on, it's a smooth cruise with no pothole.
I accessed from Eleme Junction coming from Okrika. Not one pothole straight through to Uyo. The only thing jagged was the central dividers which weren't straight. I commented on the shoddy job by the contractor for the dividers. If you drift off for one second you can crash into the central reservation while driving in a straight line.

Your Ogoni and Onne distant cousins did same when GEJ was reconstructing the Eleme - Ogoni - Ikot Abasi highway in 2010/2011/2012. It's why most of the Rivers part of that road is very bad and why getting your goods from Onne Port is daunting.
That must be early Goodluck days cos I went to Uyo in 2014 and didn't see a single pothole on that road

Now we measuring in goals per minute. Ninja has scored only five goals this season in an infinitely easier league. 5 goals! At £80m, Juve said we were only starting negotiations for the ninja.

You want us to have spent potentially £90m on a player that would have scored no more than 5 goals at this point?

At least we can still bear the tounge-lashing from spending a paltry £30m on low-scoring Jackson. How would we have justified £90m on Vlahovic with only 5 goals?

200k to collect 400m.

You just have to wait for 10 years.
Some did it from the currency swap section here on Nairaland. Some lucked out by simply holding BTC for currency trading and got carried to paradise by the 2017 bullrun.

Ask Chidekings well, currency exchange/BTC may be involved in that run from N200k to N400m
