You don't need to spend big to give a team structure, and if you spend big on players and introduce them to a structureless team, they will struggle with everyone else, thats why you have Sterling chasing players at wingback to cover James position which was not deputised for, and can't remember the last time he played at LW where he made his name. So TT failed in toto with the mission he was given in the transfer window

All you are describing is part of DM work, not "creative midfielder" work.
