atmy1: The 60bn mentioned was an error it is actually 40bn. Below is the approximate contributions towards the war in Ukraine
Ukraine: 8.3bn US (direct military): 19bn US(for NATO): 6bn US(first 5 weeks): 30m per day *35days=1.05bn US(economic, which still involves funding local manufacturing of weapons): 16bn EU: roughly3bn Germany: roughly 2bn UK: roughly 2.7bn
Total: $58bn
I am not adding contributions from dozens of other countries like Poland, Baltic states, France, Japan, Canada etc, plus additional weapons and personally secretly channeled into Ukraine daily.
Russia's total annual military budget: $69bn
Now, Ukraine is using over 80% of its military capabilities to fight the war while Russia has not deployed more than 20%.
I believe the above analysis wil give you an idea of which side is wasting more resources and losing in the war. A military includes chefs, logistics, navy , Airforce etc What Russia has in Ukraine is the limit of their powers that's why they are releasing prisoners, begging Syrians, North Koreans etc to add to their manpower. Those chefs, Navy etc are irrelevant to their fight, and they still have internal security/borders to man with what's left of their infantry Ukraine pommelled Russia on the ground game, Russia simply retreated to where Ukrainian rockets can't reach and used their long range rockets to pound the Ukrainians to clear areas before advancing their infantry. They should try that with any NATO country with the same range of rockets, mumu say Russia is facing strength of NATO in Ukraine. NATO that refused to give Ukraine long range rockets that would reach anywhere in Russia just to avoid Russia pushing nuclear button. Even as of now, only $8bln in military aid has reached Ukraine, mostly for defensive weapons until only 16 Himars reached recently, Putard say Russia is facing NATO. Foolish talk |

atmy1: At least 19 billion out of the 40 billion is going directly to buying arms for Ukraine while over 6 billion is to support NATO. This is in addition to $30m per day spent in the first five weeks of the conflict. This is only from the US, and excludes money and weapons supplied by other countries like UK, Poland, Germany etc. Remember, America also spent 8 years training and arming the Ukrainian army only for Russia to be decimating it slowly in a war of attrition. Ok, so now you have come down from $60bln to $19bln. You are getting there. $8bln has been delivered so far mostly in small arms and defensive weapons. When Putards finish talking rubbish about how they are facing NATO directly, let me know. Russia were wiped on the ground and had to resort to heavy artillery bombing from long range where they have advantage in order to make slow progress. Russia is firing rockets from hundreds of miles, even from submarines. Ukraine only just received rockets with limited range recently and these Putards are saying Russia is fighting NATO. If e sure una, attack a NATO country and see if you can hide behind rockets from hundreds of miles against an enemy with the same thing. |

swiz123: It would be very foolish of us to sign an expensive CB to come and play in a 5 man defence. I would rather have us rotate Azpi and Chalobah on that RCB.
I can't stand us sacrificing creativity for defending. If Tuchel can't get us to play exciting football, then he should make way for who will. Remember start of last season when I told you Tuchel is a defensive manager and you were arguing just because Kantes counterattacks created opportunities in the UCL games masking the bus parking nature of Tuchels set-up |

Boehly has cleared his name
If Tuchel doesn't deliver with all the money he's wasted this transfer window, koboko is waiting for him. And he better not play that nonsense defensive football
Man paid £62m for Cucuruku and gave out Colwill
Colwill plus Perisic is more optimal than Cucuruku anyday
Now he wants to spend £85m on an ACL returnee
I will be the first to sign up to Tuchelout if he doesn't deliver straightaway |

Business wise paying 65m for Cucurella is almost the same as paying 30m now and buying Colwill for 40-45m later, at least Colwill has some quarantee that he starts games You too dey justify nonsense. £62m for Kukuruku? Spits |

seunny4lif: Someone seized over 25% of your land and not only just any land but the most agricultural industrial area and took your industrial steel yet you called that failure. Russia is not going to level eastern Ukraine to the ground as the planned to take it forever as eastern Ukraine is for Russian citizens unlike Syria or Georgia that Russians have no plan to stay there.
Check the recent videos of Mauripol and see how Russians have already started cleaning up the streets and building some of the apartments and fixing the hospitals.
Tell us what is success then?
Tell that to EU that have spent billions of dollars on Ukraine and USA that said they have spent over 40B on Ukraine. Ukraine is the new money sink hole after NATO withdrew from Afghan You talking rubbish. Russia levelled Donbass in name of liberation, you say they didn't want to level. Mariupol that is 95% destroyed. By the way seperatists already controlled 10% of Ukraine before the war, so 15% gained in over 6 months now.

seunny4lif: Russia struggling with which Ukraine? The same Ukraine that have lost over 25% of its land to Russia, that’s combined size of Wales and Scot. Russia is fighting USA and Uk through Ukraine as over €60B have been spent on Ukraine by USA, UK and EU in just 5 months. Stop talking nonsense. Nobody is fighting Russia through anything. Ukraine that they won't even give rockets that can travel more than 80km, you say UK and USA is fighting Russia. 6 months of attrition, nothing come out, after boasting they can take Ukraine in 2 weeks |

A40: Haba. Peak Deschamps that was running things for Marseille and Juventus. When he came to Chelsea he was already on his last legs.
It's not by accident the winning was following him everywhere he went. Maka only had a higher peak but saying he was far and away better than Deschamps is more myth than reality Maka had a higher peak for sure. They both came to Chelsea at the age of 30 Deschamps always played in a community DM with Conte, Tacchinardi, Davids and had 3 centrebacks behind him. Makelele carried a gung-ho Madrid by himself which fell apart after he left. Imagine this. Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop

Bombblacks: aptly put. Even at that time Karembeu was considered the superior player in France to Makelele. He was one of the main players also keeping Makelele out of the national team until 2001/2002 I think. Young boys talk. Makelele was a winger/AM until 1998 when Celta Vigo converted him to DM, at which point he defined the DM role, so he was only in contention for DM at National team level from 2000 onward. |
