okuta007: officially the US is in recession and the fess are not talking about it or notifying anyone due to the mid term elections and that’s why most of us were convinced there will be a bounce back - but from what I have seen in the past week- the crypto winter will be a long one - I hereby concede bro, you were right and I am wrong!
It’s noble to acknowledge one’s mistake once the evidence is there than argue blindly! There is recession!!! It's all good bro There is no recession as defined by two quarters of negative GDP growth as at yet. I don't think this quarter will come in negative, but there is a small chance. Q1 was negative. I think Crypto would have gone down whether recession or not. Crypto like all speculative assets thrive on very low interest rate. We've been at 0% since 2020, generating excess cash in the system and investors taking more risks rather than put it in banks or treasury bills. A healthy economy should be running at 2-3%. |

His call ups have been horrible but more importantly, his in game tactics and substitutions. He is not flexible enough to make changes when things are not working. I am disappointed France chose to wait until after Qatar to make a decision, well, guess what? Zidane is no longer available. basilico: What about Clinton donations. Those are just figures. Lets compare and contrast Including who Obama the saint donated to. Or Joe Bidens. You got their campaign contributions by any chance? Lets be objective
Oh and by the way how much cash had the Trump campaign? In other words whats the percentage of those donations visavis the cash at hand? 99%?
I could without any evidence claim that Trump was holding campaign events in his hotels. Otherwise why would he go to Waldorf Astoria say to host meetings while he owns hotels. The bills had to be paid of course . Just my opinion but to you it appears that his campaign charging his hotels is a crime. My conjecture. Just dont jump into conclusions from twitter posts. Be objective and dont swallow everything the media says with the possibility of a slant. Stop making noise. Someone made noise about stolen elections, putting the whole country's democracy in jeopardy, only to put £250m into his hotels and use only £2m. Beyond disgusting. |

benalvino3: Biden's Crypto effect
One of the largest crypto lenders, Celsius Network, told users it is pausing all withdrawals, swaps, and transfers between accounts due to “extreme market conditions.”
The Ponzi scam is beginning to show its true color. People watch how their luna investment crashed as they blocked them from taking what's left of their investment. the same with Celsius... And Biden's inflation has a role in this... as the economy is bad, it affects crypto as well. Inflation and panic do not discriminate.
The good thing about CC is that you can transfer it fast with little to no cost, good for cross-border transactions/payments. but this makes it answer to the same inflation and price volatility as all currencies, so they won't always be a good hedge against Biden's inflation.
Celcius give people their money or you guys are keeping billions for yourself as the owners cry Foolishness on paper What caused the 2017 crash? |

Livelystone01: Now i ask, was there any alternative to how Ukraine should handle the issue in the Dombas region? The region has a Russian speaking majority, they are complaining of being marginalized and there has been war going on there for years because this.
What if he had granted regional autonomy like Monaco or arranged some other diplomatic ways to resolve the problem over there?
Now, these people cried to their indigenous neighbour or same speaking Russia who responded. They've cried about being marginalized, attacked and other issues for years.
A good president would try to bring them to the table, accept concessions for it to work and tell them to accept some concessions too.
Now here's my take, these Europeans would prefer Ukraine strike hard, use force against their region of disagreement to take over the region due to what they've found in order for their own economic growth, not because they really love Ukraine. This is business to them, their gains outweigh any nation's economic stability and this is what I an talking about.
I have not and will not be anti west or anti America but at least I should ask questions or call out issues when they are wrong. Donbas does not have a Russian majority. It has a 39% Russian population. Russia instigated the breakaway as soon as Ukraine decided to go with EU, it's not like Ukraine went and started attacking those guys. Ukraine were fighting seperatists after Russia tooled them to cause commotion in Ukraine's internal affairs. Crimea is the one with a Russian majority (about 65%), but Crimea voted for Ukraine Independence with a 58% majority at the breakup of the Soviet Union. Crimea is the one that has a case for being part of Russia, but you cannot be holding referendum every 20 years. This world has gone beyond tribes. Most Ukrainians are Russian speaking, 40% of Latvia is Russian, 35% of Kazakhstan is Russian etc. You cannot be causing wahala in other people's countries on account of tribe. I guarantee you, there is no country in the world with a big bear like Russia on its doorstep that will mistreat it's ethnic Russian population. Anything you saw in Ukraine is fight against seperatists, post Russia using some seperatists to break up their territorial integrity |

Livelystone01: Oh...I will try to explain my point of view the best way I can.
Don't you think if Zelensky was a very smart politician he would have avoided this collision with Russia somehow? No country enjoys going to war when she understands the collateral damage that may be involved. In this case, Russia knew it would lead to an all out escalation that would result to the sanctions they have now but they went in anyway. The golden question is why? Were they being pushed by someone unseen provocation?
I do hope you know that some people will never hit you first but they will try as much as possible to use someone to provoke you so you can feel offended and strike back. At the time Zelensky came in in 2019, Russia had already annexed Crimea and occupied 40% of Donbas by proxy, so what diplomacy should he have used to get a thief off his land. From the testimony of all Russia's neighbours like Latvia, Estonia, Georgia etc, Russia is always like this with them. On top of that, they are the ones invading him now. He did what you are supposed to do, when a thief is sitting on your land, he went for protection from the West. Those lands are not cheap lands, they are the key to Ukraine's economic future, and that's why Russia wants them. The thing is when you spin a story that the West is using Ukraine to get to Russia, most people outside the West will support you because anti-Western narrative always sells. But in this case, Ukraine is the one being bullied and stolen from. Those oil and gas reserves there are the 2nd largest in Europe. Ukraine already has the storage and pipeline network and if Putin let them go ahead, they have the potential to eat significantly into Russias dominance of the EU gas market. That's what Putin is fighting for, not all this shalaye story they are telling. Every war is about economics.

BTW Haaland was 60M Euros not Pounds which is 50M Pounds Because it's expected, unlike Haaland who everyone knows what you pay to Dortmund is only half the fee. Salary difference between Haaland and Nunez alone will buy another Nunez All fingers are not equal. |

The salary is not our business ,we all know Liverpool salary structure
We are talking about klopp and Liverpool spending 100 million in transfer and not the salary the player will earn
80 million guaranteed fees will be paid and 20 million add ons
Agenda go too plenty next season We only speak Sterling here. The initial is £64m. Who knows what the add-ons entail, could be some.unachievable incentives. Salary is of course not part of the running cost of the business |

andrewbaba44: Nunez joins liverpool for 100 million
So jurgen klopp wants to buy the epl Nothing like that, the deal is £64m, his wages are £120k per week Haaland deal was £60m with another £40m plus to his agent/dad, and his wages are £375k per week. Difference in wages alone between them is £13m per year, over a 5 year contract is £65m Sheikh wins again |
