There are two occasions I have recommended Auba to Chelsea. In 2013 when he moved from St Etienne to Dortmund and 2018 when we gave Arsenal £18m for Giroud so they could use the money to buy Auba

I said a a wing striker and Havertz is Ok, someone asked me to define a wing striker and I said Rashford, Anelka, Henry, Auba and Mbappe.

If you had more than two brain cells you will know that was a definition that describes their style of play, not a recommendation. I used Auba, Henry and Anelka because they are the most prominent examples and describes their younger years, not a recommendation for that transfer window. For two years, I have been holding up Jarrod Bowen as a specific transfer target for that style of player.

I am not responsible for how single cell organisms interpret information. I can only give information. I expect Auba at this age to settle in to a no9 position as he has done for the last 18 months, not chasing fullbacks down the wing. I know Auba was on £350k salary at Arsenal and will expect no less than £200k at Chelsea. I know he is costing about £25m and has no more than 2 years of decent football to offer, meaning his yearly amortized cost will be around £22.5m per season. For comparison, the Arnautovic I directly suggested last summer is on a £3m yearly amortized cost which is his yearly salary. Ontop of that, I know Auba may even want 3 year contract of which the last year is a definite write-off, and Tuchel won't care about anything more than the immediate future. These are what people who handle budgets and know how to process information will consider. Don't extend your hand to mouth or "is it your money" way of thinking to me. I did not recommend Auba to Chelsea last season, and now Tuchel wants him, I have said I can stomach a free transfer, but anything more than that is madness.

My advise to Nigerians is to prioritise Canada over UK

UK is still big on accent except you are in the medical field or maybe IT where they have little choice. Most Nigerians cannot speak with a passable Western accent after couple years study and that does harm job prospects in the UK. Canada/Yankee has less of a class structure and more used to immigration and different ways of speaking, plus their accent is easier to pickup.

Arnautovic is 32 and does not depend on pace. His hold up play is 10 levels above Auba, plus he was 31 when I recommended him on free transfer, super low wages in comparison to Auba, and only considered as a backup Incase Havertz fails. And Auba had stopped scoring for Arsenal for 18 months. The poor form preceded the disciplinary and tactical issues. If Auba had been scoring for Arteta there would be no disciplinary problem

A 31 year old CB conceivably has 4 more years of football. A 33 year old striker is a gamble as to whether he has much time left, especially striking position that depends on sharpness.
