Paredes is just another CM in a two. Not the main DM. Paredes as replacement for Matic with the back 3 formation of Conte is very suitable, as Singapore1 has explained to you, you don't need a killer DM for a back 3. Context has always eluded you.

The trade-off for altering a teams structure should be a specific strength he possesses like possession keeping and assists ala Pirlo.
