zendi: Those who will emerge from the nuclear shelter still alive should point their fire-charred fingers at Western Rossophobia; at NATO's lunanatic drive to nuclearize Russia's immediate existential neighbourhood thereby backing her against the wall or driving her to wrath. Rubbish in the day of ballistic missiles which can be launched from anywhere, or any choice of neighbouring state. Any country that wants to join EU and chop money immediately applies to join NATO simultaneously because Mother Russia starts to threaten as soon as you want to advance economically. Interesting to note that only Belarus of 14 former Soviet countries voted with Russia at the UN. They are tired of big bully that doesn't want them to prosper. |

There is state fund and federal fund which is tiny...
But you are not allowed to school outside your district you are not funding with your tax. Or school in a district funded by the tax of another man. That's life. People pay good money to live in areas with good schools |

benalvino3: Russia can pull out, reinvade in a year or a decade... The west with this kind of attitude what will stop them? No one except Ukraine. So they should give Ukraine what it actually needs. How will Putin sell pulling out to his people? In a decade Putin will be gone. This is actually a chance to let Putin embarrass himself and potentially change the future outlook of the next Russian president. Ukraine winning outright is unrealistic. Bogging Russia down is more realistic |

benalvino3: So far all the problems you speak about does not seem to be that much of a problem.
More Russians support the invasion of Ukraine. And Russia can keep Ukraine flattened for a year or more. Russia won't worry about the black sea that much. They have all the time in the world to rebuild and challenge the west, because they still fear a weakened Russia who shouts nukes up and down.
So be it strong Russia or weak Russia, it does not make any difference except the real threat is taken out. Which is Putin and his regime. Russia keeping Ukraine flattened for a year is not to their benefit. Any day that passes is a day away from their mission. Their mission was to go there and just maja so that they have a place at the table in determining the future direction of Ukraine. Few days into the war, when they saw that wasn't possible, regime change became their next target. Even that is not now possible. Meanwhile every passing day increases their isolation from the International community and trade which will be calamitous to them long term. They were not expecting a war. Who wants to go and get entrenched in another country without an end goal in sight? They are not big enough to carry a vassal state. They need a way out and the West should give them one after they have lost their international standing and messed up their future. |

basilico: White house concerned about one big media company control. Democrats have had pervasive control of the media, which the left used it to silence their critics. A significant cog from that wheel has been forcibly grabbed No centrism has had control of that wheel which is the way it should be for a country to be cohesive. Social media had allowed the most aggressive elements from the extreme right and extreme left to control the narrative. That's why Russia sponsors and supports extreme left and extreme right to tear the West apart. When you are on the extreme, you consider centrism as being to the other extreme. |

benalvino3: They themselves are getting wear out since they sit and wait for the new wave of russian attacks with a tweak in their previous strategy. This has been going on since the war started. Ukraine can take this for too long. If they can't go on the offensive, they have lost.
NATO will not use the advantage they get when russia is wear out, they will be there and watch russia rebuild so what's the point? I mean, russia can never be seen as weak, they were never strong nor weak because, even if they have only 5k army left, NATO will do nothing and those 5k will become 500k in the future and the process continues.
Putin knows this which is why he sings nukes in their ears up and down.
While, they miscalculated the first time, now they want to go in slowly and gradually by focusing in one front first. Because of that, mariopul has fallen or in the brink of falling. It's not that easy. War is not about replacing men but counting the cost to your country both reputationaly, financially and your populations perception. Russia has a big problem which is keeping their corridor to the Black sea untroubled which means they will have to spread out from one front to prevent disruption of their supply lines. They can take Odessa but haven't secured Dombass and Luhansk which is a wider area and subject to attacks. That black sea access is one of the reasons they entered this war in the first place, not wanting their black sea access to fall into the hands of NATO. The second and bigger problem is how to govern an unruly population that will be sabotaging and bombing them at every point. The Ukrainians have showed they are resilient and guerilla even if they don't get the weapons they need which means the corridor below will always be under threat. Russia's miscalculation was that they would march on Kyiv, Ukraine Government will get scared and surrender, collect Dombass and a link to Crimea down the black sea. All of that is in the bin. If that small Mariupol took them 2 months, they are in for a long slog, a price they were not prepared to pay Internationally and Economically, having entered Ukraine with only a few days supply of food. The weapons are stepping up in relation to the Ukrainians resistance. The West cannot send shiploads all at once without knowing if the Ukrainians would crumble and just hand those weapons over to the Russians. Now they have proved their grit, they are getting more. Britain's weapons have been very effective against the Russians, that's why the Russian ministers are always venting about Britain.

Oh boy! USA must be a very interesting country to live in.
I mean, you have one side kicking against anti abortion laws using "my body, my choice", but then when it comes to mask mandate, it's no longer "my body, my choice" .. lol it becomes an emergency health crisis, it's different they say.
Then you also have one side scream about "free speech!" And "censorship" on Twitter and MSM, But then, they same side are the ones banning books in school. Lwkm oo.
And we've AOC and Couri Bush, using "birthing persons" instead of "mother's" in their speeches. Why? For inclusion they say,. That reminds me, there's now a pregnant man emoji, nice one Apple, hahahaha
One side is screaming "Jan. 6 insurrection" and the other is shouting, "Hunter Biden's laptop" everyday,.

benalvino3: It is realistic, war is about gaining grounds and keeping it. If they pushed Russia out like they have been doing from areas they took as the war started, they can push them out completely and the way to do it is by going offensive. They need offensive weapons.
Russians are lacking in many areas and with the right weapons, ukraine can push them out completely. Current tactics to wear them out are best scenario that won't trigger the monster in Putin. Their foreign minister came this morning to complain that NATO is trying to "wear" Russia out. And he's right. They've committed two thirds of their land army to Ukraine and can't get past the Eastern side in 2 months. If Mariupol, a City of 500k people lasted two months despite heavy bombardment that destroyed 90% of the City, how long do you think it will take for all the Cities to fall, especially those Cities with millions of residents? They really want to exhaust Russia into the negotiating table without poking the bear too much.

He will expect his account and those of some of his supporters to be restored Depends whether he signed an exclusivity deal with Truth Social which is highly likely and one he can't breach. The Truth Social founder beat Gabr and the rest to that deal by some millions meaning he would have exclusivity. Elon would have gamed all this before considering the purchase cos that's a hot button issue that could lose a lot of followers. |

raumdeuter: I dont think Putin will want to take defeat, will it come to a time when Russia will just say "Rather than lose Ukraine, No one will have it" and just go haywire on them with bombs? You are right. Baba will rather commit warcrines than lose war. He's already done that to Donbass region down to Mariupol. If he came to liberate those areas, what he will inherit is a pile of rubble. He will never take defeat because he's a strongman authoritarian. Strongmen can't lose war and keep their Kingdom. He will bomb to smithereens. So far the only place he's bombed to smithereens is Mariupol as that was a strategic port to connect Dombass to the sea. |

raumdeuter: Do you think either side is interested in the bold? The west might want to humiliate Putin as this is a time to finally weaken and break a rival for ever, while Putin too knows whatever is left of the fear/respect of Russia lies in this war. Both sides are interested in the bolded. Putin even asked for a closure that the West can save face on couple of weeks ago. The problem be say the West also want Putin to find a face saving way out. The problem is who will swallow their pride. Of course they'll want to humiliate him but you can't break them forever. Their optimal goal would be the war damages Putin and leads to a coup or his resignation, but long term they must let Russia back in to the fold. This is a G7 member, not a small country. |

No fly zone is too much, just give them jets... Donate drones to them... The Turkish drones and let them swamp the Russians... They will drive them out. Haba bros. Driving Russians out fully is not realistic. A realistic outcome is grinding them down while offering Putin a face-saving way out he can sell to his people to withdraw. |

benalvino3: They won't be getting into any war. They just need to give Ukraine the right weapons.
Listening to every threat Russia dish out only proves weakness.
The guys have been holding Russia at bay for months now we are beginning to see cracks and a domino effect might happen. The weapons are stepping up. But you can't win a war without air force. And enforcing no fly zone is a direct declaration of war. So the only tactic is to bog Russia down for months. And Putin is crazy enough to bomb civilians if the war escalates so one has to escalate with sense. |
