The Ronaldo That Appeared 31 Times For Sporting Cp scoring a measly 5 goals.
I used lisbon as a fodder team in winning eleven 7 and paulo bento was even more important than ronaldo.
You are scraping the barrel. Ronaldo was 17 at Lisbon

Yeah, very long time. Was thinking you had left Nairaland for good grin

Anyways, remember Ronaldo was basically a 9, so he generally dribbles from an advanced position... Sometimes Messi picks the ball in midfield and dribbles straight into the box and scores...

I've watched a lot of Ronaldo's goals and I've never seen him score a goal like the one Messi scored against Getafe or Madrid in the ucl semifinals.
I watched Ronaldo live at his peak in the 1990s. I did not miss a single match of his 1997/98 season.

Though I considered Ronaldo by far the best player of the 1990s, I can't lie to myself and compare him to Messi. Messi does almost twice what Ronaldo did with less space.

Exodus 12:43-45 (NRSV)
43 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: This is the ordinance for the passover: no foreigner shall eat of it, 44 but any slave who has been purchased may eat of it after he has been circumcised; 45
no bound or hired servant may eat of it.

Leviticus 22:10-11 (NRSV)
10 No lay person shall eat of the sacred donations. No bound or hired servant of the priest shall eat of the sacred donations; 11 but if a priest acquires anyone by purchase, the person may eat of them; and those that are born in his house may eat of his food.

These passages show that there is a difference between someone who is hired, someone who is a bonded servant, and someone who is bought, paid for, and owned. These are laws for priests. If the Bible had a problem with people owning other people, why couldn't it at least ban the priesthood from owning slaves?
So Priests gon dey capture KuntaKinte?

If only Daddy Freeze was around back then to literally Free the Sheeple.

Modding is charity work jare apart from lala who gets paid. They once asked me to mod Politics section, I said I can't kill myself.

The reason they keep banning Airmark is cos he abandoned his modding duties in Music section. If he was an active participant, they won't be banning him.

The way Mookina abandoned this section sef, I won't be surprised if someone like Mind4four starts banning her willynilly.

Study on Chloroquine, Zinc and Azithromycin combination for those interested.

I believe results would be even better if Chloroquine/Zinc combination is used before Hospitalisation by which time the virus has already proliferated

Saudi Arabia/ UAE is predominantly a Muslim state and they are prospering. When you compare groups of people throughout history, the groups that practice a religion are more likely to survive and prosper than those groups that don’t practice a religion. I can’t remember the exact study, but it was cited in Jonathan Haidt’s The Righteous Mind. Religion may cause some problems, but it unites people and helps them grow.
Saudi prosperity is just due to the fortune of sitting on oil reserves, not due to anything else. Infact their leaders are very wicked, wasteful and inhumane.

UAE leaders are similarly wicked although they applied some brain to what to do with their oil wealth to attract investment.

No, I would have made the same statement if they were men.

I don't expect them to live in huts neither do I expect people earning between N30k and N150k to live like multimillionaires.

Their bosses don't mind them chopping. Just don't broadcast it so the whole country can see the rewards of frustrating Nigerians at the Immigration Office and demanding bribe for every service.

Those ladies houses looked too fine for common immigration officers.

Since they are chopping like that in Lagos, they should go and continue the chopping in Borno

Drogba at 81% has higher success rate than Messi 77%, Aguero 78%, Tevez 70% and the same as Suarez. Also some of the most dependable penalty takers have been 6ft and above.
The following players are about Drogba’s height or taller.

Matt Le Tissier 98%

Rickie Lambert 94%

Zlatan Ibrahimović 88%

Mile Jedinak 100%

Cantona >90%
Drogba is a gangly type of tall. They miss penalties easily like Tammy. These guys might be tall but dem dey ground.

Drogba was a known penalty misser. His body language was too easy to read. I've seen him miss penalties before that the goalkeeper can easily telegraph from his body language. Tall players don't usually fare well with penalties due to their physiology being easy to read. That's how he missed Ivory Coast chance of glory in AFCON. I was surprised he scored that penalty in Munich TBH. I expected him to miss.

Never denied that. He was our third best player in that final. His ball holding skills bought us moments of respite from incessant pressure. There is a difference between playing well on the edge of your box all game where opposition have no space to run behind. . . and being a complete escort when asked to play on the halfway line.

Just read that the covid organics produced in Madagascar have been sent to Nigeria (read it would be subject to clinical trials by NAFDAC b4 it's used).

Several weeks have passed since Madagascar started using it and it seems the covid organics has some effect on the virus but I'm surprised WHO are yet to say anything about it though
Madagascar is still too early in it's infection stage to judge the fatality rate or efficacy of their drug. What they are touting is simply Artemisia Annua which treats symptoms but not the virus itself. I bought some myself as below but I'll be treating it same as ginger, garlic, tumeric, oregano, paracetamol etc - just for symptom management and to clear out mucus if it gets to that stage. Basically it is similar to using Agbo. What's more encouraging is the low death rate in Costa Rica and Senegal who deployed Chloroquine to their citizens to be used at early stage and have extremely low death rate. Chloroquine is shown as having no efficacy in advanced cases where oxygen saturation is already below 94% but many studies are showing very low fatality or hospitalisation rates when deployed early.

Just as important as all of these things seem to be intake of Vitamin D especially in black people who are dying 4 to 1 in UK and doctors are putting it down to lower synthetisation of Vitamin D from the Sun. If your Vitamin D level is up, your immune system should be able to handle the virus, and there are many studies showing recovery rate for lung infections, many other infections and even some cancers are vastly improved in patients with adequate Vitamin D levels. They are now talking of prescribing Vitamin D for black patients which many European countries do during flu season for black people. Most Vitamin D Supplements only contain 10micrograms but after my Doctor Cousin told me they are giving 100 micrograms to all their patients due to the fact they are psychiatric patients and don't go out in the Sun, I upped mine to 50 micrograms daily.

Amodu was a company man, the epitome of NFF corruption, same as Chukwu, Eguavoen and Keshi. I'm sure SiaSia did his own as well, but he used better players. Eguavoen messed up his only qualifying campaign by losing the first game or two that ultimately resulted in failure.

I have no problem with Shitty, Keira and co actually. Keira just had a rush of blood to the head in 2010. It is players like Yakubu who stayed in SE 3 years past his sell by date, Yobo who stayed 4 years past his sell by date that I had problem with, as well as a plethora of no name and useless players.

Obasi was criminally underused by Nigeria between 2007 to 2012 while some nonsense, old and decrepit players played in his stead. He was by far Nigeria's best winger during that period, and was tearing Bundesliga down in a lethal Hoffenheim attacking triumvirate with Demba Ba and Vedad Ibisevic. He was past his prime by 2014 though due to injury.

Only SiaSia gave him space to play consistently at underaged level which was again rewarded in Olympics 2008.

God will punish those who consistently hold back Super Eagles for their pocket. It is only during this Gernot Rohr era that I see some element of meritocracy returning to Super Eagles which is why I have never added my voice to those who call for his head. He has brought many new players to Eagles and by and large, the best players are picked for each position.

Only a novice football watcher will watch the era of 2002 to 2014 and not conclude it was fraught with massive corruption and parapoism in team selections. Players in their prime never got selected. Those past their prime continued getting selected many years past their peak, while many unknown and rubbish players made squad having obviously paid their way in.

Help My Friend Decide: 5million Or A 100k Job?

A friend of mine just got an offer from his late brother's company few months after his demise.

His late brother having been a prominent personality (head of finance) in the company he worked before he died, made the company to offer his younger brother my friend two options..

1. 5million naira cash or

2. a 100k job per month in the Same company.

we need your professional advice pls
What sort of company offers N5m to family of the deceased, unless the deceased was indemnified with the company, and as such, the N5m is a legal right.

The job offer has nothing to do with the N5m, and may be an attempt by the company to forego it's responsibilities.

Beware of Greek gifts. I don't see how one is conditional upon the other. Unless your brother worked for a one man business and the man is just making an altruistic gesture, I didn't think any professional company will table such an offer.
