In boxing terms, jab and straight right are pretty much the the same thing.
One is a straight punch with the front hand, the other is a straight punch with the rear hand.
Neither are particular efficient for generating concussive power.
The 'power shot' version of the straight right is the cross, which is where the boxer uses his hips to drive power from his feet into his punch.

And that's really the point I was getting at - which is Wilder does not need to throw the deadly shots like hooks and upper cuts to knock out his opponent.

He essentially used a basic 1-2 to knock ortiz out. He didnt sit on the punch. He didnt pull his hand back to Pluto to launch the punch. It was a simple straight punch from the shoulder. He can do it with the left hand too.

You cant say he has no jab, when his jabs are sending people home on a stretcher.

Chill chale. There is a big difference between Jab with the leading hand and straight right/cross/overhead with the rear hand.

The 1,2 jab, cross if landed flush on the chin will put most fighters to sleep. Most times it doesn't land flush because it's a straight punch and the other fighter will see it coming and glance it. Ortiz must have been tired to allow that shot to go clean through after a very lethargic jab set-up from Wilder.

Straight right is responsible for a lot of knockouts in boxing, and moreso in MMA where they box from distance for fear of kicks.
