People don't listen to albums again, and certainly don't buy albums again except for maybe Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj fans...so must albums are packaged these days to exploit the performance of their key singles in different markets and use the singles numbers to inflate the album sales.

Album these days is just a way for the label to release a bundle of songs commercially. It's not for fans to listen to from start to finish

Bundle by Bundle released last year, but Burna included it in a July album because the streaming numbers will be counted towards album sales numbers. You should listen to The Weeknds last album to see this EXACT play - he dropped his own version of tatata in Sao Paulo, dropped his version of the shaboozey song with Playboy Carti, and still managed to crowbar a feature with Travis in there.

Each of those songs are going in different playlist markets for genres and fandoms that don't overlap, but that's fine cos each fandom is just consuming their single and keeping it moving. Na you wey dey listen to album holistically go dey confused -

He's already big in Francophone so he put Stromae there, he's chasing reggaeton summer club rotation and genz with that Travis Scott feature, and the shaboozey one is the most overtly criminal cynical attempted billboard heist I've ever seen.

What remains to be seem now is whether his approach will work. I think it might, especially that Shaboozey song. I'm hoping it does, cos this is the most bold faced billboard play from a Nigerian artist since Rema featured Selena Gomez.

My favourite album of the last decade is Bruno Mars 24k Magic. It had a single theme from start to finish (playalistic funk RnB) and every track was perfectly executed. Bruno has been touring off that album for 9 years. If he announce tour today off that album, he will gross more than superstars with new releases

Another thing I noticed is that Burnas voice is requiring more producer intervention/smoothening in the last 2 years. He has abused his voice box with kpoli. One of the criteria I use to rate Afrobeats artistes is by the lack of producer intervention in their vocals.

The aircraft’s last flight! This like turning off your fuel switch on generators. But it will start in the next time you put it ON. But will go off after some some seconds because the fuel switch wasn’t turned ON for flow of fuel.

The maintenance crew of that aircraft should be investigated, to get to know the truth. There might be an important person or two in that aircraft who people of interests to other people, there is a conspiracy!
