If you check, Joao Pedro made a run that made Vitinha start to leave Palmer to chase JP, expecting Beraldo to shut down Palmer

It's a standard move, but Beraldo did not cover Palmer as he was similarly distracted by JP, causing Vitinha to return to Palmer after switching his stance to chase JP, but by then Palmer already had the 5 yards to get his shot away.
